Demo Staged in Bangladesh in Protest against U.S. Hostile Policy toward DPRK

   Pyongyang, July 24 (KCNA) -- A demonstration against the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK was staged in Barisal, Bangladesh on July 18 under the sponsorship of the Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun Policy.
    It was participated in by members of the group, workers, peasants, teachers and students of over 10 schools in Barisal, at least a hundred persons in all.
    Prior to the demonstration, M. Jahangir Khan, chairman of the group, made public a statement.
    The statement said that in order to ensure that the reunification of the Korean peninsula is achieved in an independent and peaceful way as desired by the Korean nation it is necessary for the U.S. to roll back at an early date its hostile policy toward the DPRK that has lasted for more than half a century and immediately stop provocative war exercises in south Korea.
    Its participants marched through streets, holding placards and chanting anti-U.S. slogans. -0-
