Country Free from Unemployment

Europe is now plagued by economic recession.

In Germany the first half of 2026 alone witnessed closures of some 12 000 businesses in the auto, metal and other sectors.

The unemployment crisis in the UK is going from bad to worse, especially for young people under 24. With unemployment in France reaching the highest level since 2021, the jobless people numbered 2.7 million in the second quarter, an increase of 62 000 over the previous quarter. The EUROSTAT announced that Finland has the highest unemployment rate among the EU member nations. Job opportunities are getting less available in a way that lets even those who received higher education find it hard to get a job.

Soaring energy price is believed to be one of the main causes of the global concern. However, there is a country where things are different—socialist Korea.

It is noteworthy that the working people in the DPRK do not know the word unemployment itself. They are reportedly provided by the state with an opportunity to choose a job according to their tastes, abilities and talents when they reach the working age. Young people volunteer to work at difficult and labour-consuming sectors and devote themselves to the country. They regard it as their sacred civic duty and manifestation of patriotism.

In recent years the DPRK has been achieving comprehensive development in its socialist construction. Many new industrial establishments have sprung up and many others been renovated and modernized, giving fresh impetus to its economy.

This can be evidenced by the fact that light-industry factories are being built in different parts of the country.

According to the Workers’ Party of Korea’s Regional Development 20×10 Policy, modern regional-industry factories have been built every year since 2024 in 20 cities and counties in conformity with the economic features of the regions concerned. As a result, light-industry factories have mushroomed in 40 cities and counties, or one fifth of the total number of the regional bodies in the country.

While the huge capital city construction continues apace, the project for building modern rural houses across the country gains growing momentum.

The dynamic growth of the construction sector has in turn positive effects on the metal, building materials, chemical and other relevant industries. Besides, mining, fishing, livestock farming, tourism and many other sectors are brought back to life with many businesses remodelled, newly established and updated day by day. Evidently, this will entail more job opportunities.

 The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and  the  Korean Friendship Association of the UK  KFA  UK )  , issued a joint statement in support of the press statement of comrade Kim Yo Jong department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea that was issued on the 17th of September ;

Of late the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)of the UN has been trying to revive the ' north Korean nuclear fever ' by issuing reports about the DPRK 's nuclear facilities .  Things reached a head when the IAEA held its 70th general conference  at which phrases aimed at the DPRK  like "Violation of UNSC resolutions, threat to international peace and security, complete and irreversible denuclearization, honouring of international obligation"

Comrade Kim Yo Jong in her excellent statement correctly describes such utterances by the IAEA General Conference  as "They are all noises, not surprising and not new, as we can always hear them at this time every year, like the sounds from the automated teller machine."  If the IAEA persists in this kind of behaviour ,comrade Kim Yo Jong warns that they will be termed idiots .

Indeed the IAEA is repeating the same nonsense time and time again .

If the DPRK was not under nuclear threat from international rogues there would be no need for such pointless and time wasting discussions at the IAEA General Conference .

The DPRK's position is firmly articulated by comrade Kim Yo Jong  who states that "No matter how loudly the IAEA and the West may cry out for denuclearization according to a ready-made script at their periodic meetings, they can have no impact on the determination and practical ability of the DPRK to take all necessary measures to defend the supreme interests of the state."

The DPRK 's nuclear status , which is now nearly 20 years old , is irreversible and enshrined in the laws of the DPRK .

Comrade Kim Yo Jong declares that " No matter the rhetorical denial by the hostile forces, the reality, in which the nuclear-armed position of the DPRK has been permanently fixed physically and legally, can never change."

We support the independent right of the DPRK to possess nuclear weapons and applaud the will of the DPRK to reject so-called "denuclearisation "

Pyongyang, September 17 (KCNA) -- Kim Yo Jong, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, issued the following press statement on Sept. 17:

Violation of UNSC resolutions, threat to international peace and security, complete and irreversible denuclearization, honouring of international obligation…

As expected, such a string of nonsense we have so much heard was let out at the 70th Session of the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) General Conference again.

They are all noises, not surprising and not new, as we can always hear them at this time every year, like the sounds from the automated teller machine.

Those who gathered to shout for changing the present position of our state should clearly understand what a foolish dream they have dreamed of and what a useless thing they are doing.

If they believe that it is really possible, they will be termed idiots knowing nothing of the world.

In fact, if there were no rogues behaving badly toward the DPRK, many countries would probably not need to waste time with empty talk but live in a safer and peaceful world.

No matter how loudly the IAEA and the West may cry out for denuclearization according to a ready-made script at their periodic meetings, they can have no impact on the determination and practical ability of the DPRK to take all necessary measures to defend the supreme interests of the state.

The DPRK's position as a nuclear weapons state is something immutable, never to be reversed with anything, and its powerful existence makes a significant contribution to deterring the outrageous acts of international rogues and ensuring peace and security.

No matter the rhetorical denial by the hostile forces, the reality, in which the nuclear-armed position of the DPRK has been permanently fixed physically and legally, can never change.

Nobody and nothing can ever reverse the crucial change in the strength and position of the DPRK and deter it in the future, too. -0-

Spokesman for DPRK Ministry of National Defence Clarifies Stand

Pyongyang, September 16 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Ministry of National Defence of the DPRK clarified the following stand through KCNA on Wednesday as regards the fact that the U.S. military and the ROK puppet army have more openly revealed their scheme for military confrontation with the DPRK recently, talking about response to someone's "WMD threat":

The U.S. forces and the warmongers of the ROK puppet army on Sept. 10 held a meeting of the WMD response committee, at which they agreed to set up an information-sharing system to cope with "potential WMD attack" by the DPRK, enhance the joint counteraction capability and intensify joint counteraction training.

What should not be overlooked is that the U.S. and the ROK called for strengthened joint defense posture, the keynote of which is to use military muscle against the DPRK, hyping someone's "WMD threat".

This is an open declaration of confrontation to make the use of nuclear and biochemical weapons against the DPRK in case of contingency on the Korean peninsula a fait accompli and accelerate the war preparations for its execution. It is also a grave move of aggravating the situation to push the danger of the use of WMDs to extremes.

The U.S. and the ROK got familiar with the procedures of "WMD response" during the recent large-scale joint military exercises Freedom Shield. This time they agreed to intensify the training involving nuclear and biochemical weapons again. This fact goes to prove that the enemy's plan to use WMDs has entered an extremely reckless phase.

The U.S. stated in its past "strategy for coping with WMDs" that it would establish a joint force capable of fighting in a nuclear and biochemical warfare environment and increase its investment in the research and development of WMDs under the pretext of "threat" from the DPRK and other sovereign states. This provides full explanation for the confrontational design and ultimate goal pursued by them.

In recent years, the U.S. has set up a network of 30 biological weapons research institutes in the territory of Ukraine and established biological laboratories in its military bases in the ROK. Furthermore, it has been intensifying military biological activities and biochemical weapons development in over 200 different parts of the world. It has also specified in the bill on national defence right for fiscal 2026 that it would spend hundreds of millions of dollars for the development, test, maintenance and operation of biochemical weapons.

Such situation goes to prove that the rumor about someone's "WMD threat" spread by the U.S. is nothing but an ill-intended pretext to cover up its development and proliferation of WMDs.

Such a threat of WMD attack and use by the enemy against the DPRK may be considered a crucial security challenge that requires the latter to invoke the relevant provision of the law on the state nuclear force policy.

I recommend that the U.S. correctly interprets the meaning of the invoking of the relevant provision and accepts it as a grave warning.

The armed forces of the DPRK will always keep track of the new military attempts of the U.S. and its allied forces, regularly assessing their threat to its national security. -0-

On the 22nd of September  1949 , some 77 years ago , Madame Kim Jong Suk the heroine of the anti-Japanese war passed away at the early age of 32 years after a life of arduous revolutionary struggle for the emancipation of women and the independence of the Korean people. We recall her great exploits .

                                                         

                                 

 Madame Kim Jong Suk was born into a humble working family in Hoeryong but took the road of revolution at the early age joining the struggle for the  independence of Korea from Japanese imperialism. Madame Kim Jong Suk became an ardent communist revolutionary and anti- imperialist fighter  in her youth. She joined the Anti-Japanese People's Guerrilla Army, commanded by the great leader generalissimo Kim Il Sung throwing herself into the sacred struggle for the liberation of Korea from the iron heel of Japanese imperialism.

  During the anti-Japanese armed struggle Madame Kim Jong Suk distinguished herself as a great partisan and crack-shot . She was also the bodyguard of the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung. She was a paragon, a role model of loyalty .

    Madam Kim Jong Suk  was the pioneer of the communist revolutionary women's movement. Her teachings  offer profound inspiration and guidance  for the progressive and revolutionary women of the world.  Kim Jong Suk was a shining example of communist womanhood. After liberation Madame Kim Jong Suk built up the Democratic Women's Union of Korea, struggling against opportunism and factionalism. She led the work of freeing women from the shackles of feudalism.

Madame Kim Jong Suk made a profound contribution to the building of a new democratic Korea after liberation in 1945 . She worked hard to build a new Korea of Juche, without rest or let-up. She took part in the building of the people's armed forces of People's Korea , thus enriching the Songun revolutionary cause. Her life was most exemplary.

  Madame Kim Jong Suk gave a revolutionary upbringing to the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il  so that he would become a future great leader and great commander of Songun.

   The life of Madame Kim Jong Suk is an example to revolutionary and progressive women of the world . She was a role model for true proletarian feminism and Juche-orientated women's liberation.

   Despite the passing of time , the memory of Madame Kim Jong Suk , the mother of Korea, burns brightly in the hearts of Juche Idea and Songun Idea followers  and true friends of People's Korea.

Int'l Security Affairs Analyst on Washington's Moves to Expand Nuclear Submarine Alliance

Pyongyang, September 16 (KCNA) -- Choe Ju Hyon, an international security affairs analyst of the DPRK, released the following article "Washington's moves to expand nuclear submarine alliance - an absolute factor of disturbing global nuclear security":

Washington is getting more pronounced in the nuclear proliferation moves with the approach of the fifth anniversary of the AUKUS, the U.S.-led exclusive nuclear security technology alliance that threatens the foundation of the international nuclear non-proliferation system.

Recently, the U.S. naval chief executive made remarks intended to instigate Japan and the ROK to possess nuclear submarines, saying that Japan with atomic power plants has been already possessed of technology, the basis of nuclear submarines, and that the ROK needs to set the purpose of possession of nuclear submarine with its characteristics of distant navigation as a premise and so it is wrong to purchase it symbolically.

This is another telling evidence showing eloquently who is the major chieftain of the worldwide nuclear proliferation.

The U.S. has already put the AUKUS, the nuclear submarine proliferation matrix, to the fore, increasing the danger level of nuclear proliferation by geometrical progression, to ensure the practical application of the "America first" that resorts to all sorts of means and methods in disallowing "dominance" and "seizure" of other countries over strategically important regions.

The U.S. made the confrontational address of AUKUS clear through the sale of nuclear submarines and transfer of nuclear technology to Australia, joint development of deep-sea unmanned submarine, and regularization of various kinds of joint military exercises among member states. And it is trying to generalize the experience to the ROK, Japan and other allies. Such dangerous behavior is raising serious concern from the international community

Seoul suggested to Washington the issues of securing enriched uranium for nuclear fuel and revising the "U.S.-ROK Nuclear Agreement" for the acquisition of the right to enrichment intended to carry on its nuclear submarine building plan. And the rulers of Tokyo have unreservedly advocated the theory of possession of nuclear submarines. The reality goes to prove that Washington's plan for "AUKUS 2.0", which allows the transfer of nuclear technology for munitions to non-nuclear allies, has entered the phase of full-scale expansion.

The reckless acts of the ROK and Japan seeking access to nuclear submarines show what dangerous extent the U.S. military adventurism to contain its rival states in the Asia-Pacific region by setting up its allies as shock brigades has reached.

The U.S. outwardly calls for defence of the nuclear non-proliferation system, but inwardly seeks to unhesitatingly offer nuclear attack means to its junior allies for handsome profit. Such hypocritical behavior of the U.S. is nothing but a cheap trick to cover up its criminal trace of nuclear proliferation.

The NATO-style nuclear sharing model and its variant U.S.-ROK "Nuclear Consultative Group" and the U.S.-Japan "extended deterrence dialogue" are in normal operation. This reality clearly shows the harmful aftereffect of the U.S. dangerous nuclear proliferation on the global security environment.

The U.S. continued irresponsible and malicious practice in the nuclear field is the top risk factor accelerating the erosion of the international nuclear non-proliferation system, and this more strongly highlights the need for our state to bolster up its nuclear war deterrent means both in quality and quantity without the slightest stagnation and stalemate.

The international community should make a fair and uncompromising assessment of the U.S. scheme to bring about a catastrophic nuclear domino happening while getting keen on the nuclear proliferation in different parts of the world, and make concerted and responsible efforts against it. -0-

Joint Firepower Attack Drill of Long-range Artillery and Missile Units of Combined Units at All Levels of KPA Hel

Pyongyang, September 14 (KCNA) -- A joint firepower attack drill of long-range artillery and missile units of the combined units at all levels of the Korean People's Army took place on Sept. 12.

KPA Marshal Pak Jong Chon, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, and Major General Yu Chang Son, director of the Artillery Bureau of the General Staff of the KPA, guided the joint firepower attack drill.

Subunits selected from the five artillery and missile joint units participated in the drill. The drill involved new combat systems such as attack drones of various kinds, tactical cruise missile, large-caliber thermal-pressure multiple rocket launcher and tactical ballistic missile.

Marshal Pak Jong Chon said that the drill is aimed at making the army do what it should do.

Director of the Artillery Bureau Yu Chang Son said that it is one of the training tasks prioritized by the army to get familiar with the procedure for the operation of the integrated firepower control system, the systematic component of the strategic weapons combined management system, improve the specialty of the integrated automatic firepower control of various combat systems and increase the efficiency of destroying the targets with concentrated fire.

He also stressed that such drills are very helpful to qualitatively enhancing the strategic counteraction posture of striking units at all levels and acquiring the rapid reaction capabilities of sub-units at all levels in case of emergency.

He said that the joint concentrated fire drill of the major missile subunits and the long-range artillery subunits would boost the militant morale of the soldiers and improve the level of specialization to bring down the enemy's armed forces organizationally and structurally once an order is issued. We will, in the future, too, steadily master the procedures for counterattack posture on the enemy through practical drills, he added.

All strike weapon systems demonstrated the huge destructive power of concentration fire by hitting the targets with 100 percent hit accuracy at a stroke, ensuring the unity and simultaneity of firepower attack. -0-
