Ever Prospering State of Juche -special article for the 78th anniversary of the foundation of the DPRK

It was on September 9th 1948 that  President KIM IL SUNG founded the great Democratic People’s Republic of Korea , a powerful state of Juche and an invincible socialist country .  The foundation of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK ) was met with the rousing cheers of the people because for the first time in the thousands of years of history the Korean people had their own state , a state not ruled by a landlord or capitalist and not ruled by imperialists or outsiders, a state ruled by the people

The very name , Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is unique and represents the interests and aspirations of the Korean people to have their own state that is democratic and people oriented ! . I myself always liked the name Democratic People’s Republic of Korea  because it sounded different to other socialist countries and special . Yes it is special because the DPRK is a people centred socialist country . The DPRK is truly democratic because it has a people’s government which fits the definition of democracy as rule by the people for the people .

The DPRK is rooted in the traditions of the anti-Japanese armed struggle During  the anti-Japanese armed struggle  in the early 1930s People's Revolutionary Governments were formed in the liberated areas of the guerrilla zones. The People's Revolutionary government was the prototype of people's power,a forerunner of the DPRK. They carried out land reform and enforced an 8 hour day for workers . The DPRK was the first state of people's democracy to be founded in the far east as the People’s Republic of China came into being one year later in 1949 . The DPRK blazed an untrodden trail. After Korea’s liberation from Japanese imperialist rule in August 1945  the Korean people under the wise leadership of the great leader comrade KIM IL SUNG fully completed the tasks of the anti-imperialist , anti- feudal democratic revolution which completely eliminated the oppression of Japanese imperialism and the feudal landlords . People’s committees organs of popular rule were set up . 

The anti-imperialist , anti-feudal democratic revolution was not carried out in smooth conditions but in an atmosphere of intense struggle against class enemies , reactionaries and opportunists of all kinds . The landlords opposed the Agrarian reform which distributed land free of charge to the honest working farmers of People’s Korea . Moreover the US imperialists had seized the southern part of Korea ,threatening the liberated Korean people and sent agents and saboteurs into the northern half of Korea to sabotage and disrupt the revolution.

 

The need arose for the Korean people to set up their own people’s democratic state to protect the gains of the people  and Korea and carry the revolution forward. Thus on the 9th of September 1948  after having concluded elections to the new Supreme People’s Assembly in August , the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea was founded under the leadership of President KIM IL SUNG , a genuine creation of the Korean people. As President KIM IL SUNG said   “Through a long and arduous revolutionary struggle the genuine communists and patriots of Korea achieved the historic cause of national liberation and established the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea in their freed country.”

The DPRK took the road of independent development and the road of socialism . As respected Marshal KIM JONG UN said in his speech for the 77th anniversary of the foundation of the DPRK last year  “The truth is that socialism we chose is the one and only right road.

It was on the strength of the justice and truth embodied in socialism that we have won all the glory we are enjoying today; having established a powerful political system and built a great national strength, we will not allow the destiny of our country to be left to any foreign forces’ devices.

Today all the people’s belief in socialism of our style and their strenuous efforts to defend and add lustre to it without fail are vigorously promoting our national development to open a new phase of prosperity”

After completing  the tasks of the anti-imperialist , anti- feudal democratic revolution in a short space of time and switched over to the socialist revolution proving the validity of the Juche-orientated theory on continuous revolution .Socialist transformation of production relations was completed in 1958 thereby creating an advanced , people-centred socialist system.

The DPRK has consistently implemented people centred policies even under conditions of extreme blockade and sanctions. The DPRK has free health care, free education (including university level), low cost food and many other benefits .

Today under the dynamic leadership of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN the DPRK has embarked on a massive housing construction programme as well as a programme of developing regional areas . Visiting the DPRK in 2024 and 2025 I witnessed astonishing progress . The DPRK is becoming even more prosperous . It is the ever-prospering state of Juche .

Report of Online Meeting for the 78th Anniversary of the foundation of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea 08.09.2026

The Korean Friendship Association of the UK (KFA UK ) and the British Group For the Study of the Juche Idea organised an online meeting to celebrate the 78th anniversary of the foundation of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK ) . The meeting was held at 1900 hours BST on the 8th of September.

Participating were members of the KFA UK and the British Group For the Study of the Juche Idea from London , the West of England , north west and some other areas as well as a representative of the British Posadists and a member of the CPGBML . Also taking part was KFA Germany , KFA Greece and the People’s Korea Initiative of Poland .

A message from the DPRK Embassy in London to the meeting was received and read out by Dr Dermot Hudson Chairman of KFA UK and Chairman of the British Group For the Study of the Juche Idea . The message emphasised that  “On this significant occasion of the day, the DPRK people recollect with deep emotion the nation-building exploits of President Kim Il Sung who founded the DPRK and developed it into an invincible socialist country.

During the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, the President put forward the Juche-oriented line of building the people's government and gained valuable experience in building the government.”

KFA UK Organisation Secretary and head of KFA UK West of England stressed that  “On this 78th anniversary, it is worth recalling the unique aspects of the DPRK’s founding and development; it is also worth examining the present and tracing its foundations back to the glorious history of the DPRK’s inception. After all, every jubilee bridges tradition and modernity, experience and youth. Yet, a defining characteristic of the DPRK’s history—both past and present—is that the social development of the People's Korea, alongside its economic growth, rests on strong and enduring foundations. In this sense, the past and present converge, creating a basis—even amidst the many mounting international threats—to look toward the future with optimism”

Dr Hudson in his speech said that “The fact that the DPRK is 78 years old is itself a great achievement because the USSR which was regarded by some as the best model of socialism only lasted 69 years and the socialist states of Eastern Europe managed only 40 years of existence .

The DPRK was founded by President KIM IL SUNG and was the creation of the Korean people fully representing their interests and aspirations of the Korean people.

The 78 years of the DPRK’s existence have been 78 years of independence , sovereignty and self-reliance based on the Juche idea”

Dr Hudson also recalled his visit to the DPRK in September 2018 for the 70th anniversary of the foundation of the DPRK.

The head of KFA Germany said that the DPRK is the target of constant demonisation but few people actually know the country and think that they know better than the people of the DPRK and those who visited the DPRK . He stressed that the DPRK had achieved great things .

The head of KFA Greece said that the DPRK has recently opened a new road bridge to Russia and made big achievement in the field of sports and the economy .

Other speakers noted the DPRK’s resilience in defending socialism and continuing the legacy of socialism and also the role of the DPRK in sending military assistance to the Russian Federation.

Dr Hudson shared the online photo exhibition “On the Occasion of the 78th Founding Anniversary of the DPRK - For the People’s Wellbeing” to the meeting .

A letter to represented Marshal KIM JONG UN was adopted .

The documentary “A New Era of Overall Development Brought by Great Leadership (2020-2023)” was streamed to the participants.

78 years ago on the 9th of September 1948 the great leader President KIM IL SUNG founded the great Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK ).

The foundation of the DPRK meant that the Korean people took power in their hands and marked the birth of a powerful state of Juche , a state of independence .

The 78 years of the DPRK have been 78 years of great progress and advance !

  Shining in the history of prosperity of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea are the undying feats of the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il who firmly defended socialism of Korean style by consolidating the national power in every way.

  In the 90s of the 20th century, the US imperialists and the imperialist reactionaries directed the spearhead of attack against the DPRK invariably holding high the banner of independence, banner of socialism, with the collapse of socialism in some countries as an opportunity.

  The DPRK was faced with harsh trials and difficulties unprecedented in history due to the vicious moves of the imperialist reactionaries to isolate and stifle it.

  At that time, Comrade Kim Jong Il put forward the Songun (military-first) politics as the basic political mode of socialism.

  Songun politics is a political mode of defending the country, revolution and socialism by regarding the military affairs as the most important of the state affairs and strengthening the People's Army in every way, and building up the driving force of the revolution and powerfully pushing ahead with the overall socialist construction with the People's Army as the core and main force.

  Comrade Kim Jong Il stressed the need to build the country into a people's paradise and socialist power which is strongest and prosperous in the world and good to live in at the famous work "The Democratic People's Republic of Korea Is a Juche-Oriented Socialist State with Invincible Might" and different other works.

  He said peace, an independent, creative and happy life of the Korean people, and victory of socialism are guaranteed by the People's Army.

  He underscored the need to develop the People's Army into an invincible revolutionary army and consolidate the national power in every way by constantly directing big efforts to the development of the defence industry.

Uninterrupted Long Journey for Defending the Country

  Comrade Kim Jong Il visited a company of the Korean People's Army on January 1, 1995.

  He acquainted himself in detail with the military and political work of the company and living conditions of soldiers.

  He was greatly encouraged by the soldiers who were staunchly safeguarding the socialist country, holding fast to the arms of the revolution.

  That day, he expressed his firm faith and will to lead the country and socialism to victory with the Songun politics.

  He made an uninterrupted long journey of Songun from the historic day to the last period of his life.

  He called on service personnel of the People's Army for field guidance even on red-letter days and holidays, saying he would become the Supreme Commander who finds himself among the soldiers and shares life and death with them at the battle posts clouded with powder smoke in the future, too.

  The traces of his devotion are left in every part of the country including the Chol Pass with 99 turns which is 16 kilometres up and 16 kilometres down, the extremely dangerous road with sheer cliffs of Mt. Osong and the windy sea route to Cho Islet with high waves.

  Wherever he went, he convinced the soldiers of the noble consciousness of patriotism that they should defend the country in order not to be slaves of imperialism and gave the invincible might and courage to them.

  Under his energetic leadership the KPA could demonstrate its might as the invincible revolutionary armed forces which are perfect politico-ideologically and in military technique.

  The DPRK could be safeguarded thanks to the long journey of Songun made by Comrade Kim Jong Il.

  At that time, a famous European expert in the Korean affairs, in an article, wrote:

  "Three miracles have been witnessed in the DPRK since the mid-1990s.

  First, the DPRK, which had almost disappeared on the international political arena, has been developed into a state representing socialism.

  Second, the Korean people extricated themselves out of the abyss of death and are building a powerful country.

  Third, the United States and other Western countries tried to stifle the DPRK, but now they have extended a helping hand of reconciliation to the latter."

  Comrade Kim Jong Il strengthened and developed the DPRK into a socialist country with invincible might and his immortal exploits are shining forever

The Face of the Anti-Korean Campaign - Who Is Joanna Hosaniak? from the People's Korea Initiative of Poland

In recent days, an unprecedentedly hostile campaign targeting the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea has erupted on the TVN television network. Its vehicle has been Martyna Wojciechowska’s programme, which featured interviews with “defectors” as well as Joanna Hosaniak-a person who has professionally engaged for years in spreading falsehoods about the DPRK. The purpose of this activity is to deliberately distort the authentic image of a country that can boast numerous achievements in building a just socialist system. It is therefore unjustified to accuse this state of allegedly violating the rights of its citizens; on the contrary, the DPRK takes particular care of its people despite extremely unfavourable external conditions, including the unprecedented sanctions regime imposed upon it. Evidence of this can be seen in the extensive housing projects in the capital, carried out as part of universal, free access to housing, as well as in the modernisation of infrastructure in the provinces, the dynamic development of rural areas, and other similar initiatives.

The key figure setting the tone of this hostile narrative is Joanna Hosaniak herself-the deputy director-general of the so-called Citizens’ Alliance for North Korean Human Rights (NKHR). This organisation is funded directly by the National Endowment for Democracy, an institution financed by the United States Congress—a power whose foreign policy has for years consisted of the unilateral demonisation of sovereign states, including the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. Moreover, Hosaniak worked for four years at the Embassy of South Korea—a state that remains formally at war with the DPRK. Can a person with such clear connections be regarded as a credible and impartial source of information? The answer is obvious.

One does not need to be an insider to see that NKHR has no interest whatsoever in presenting an objective picture of reality. Its continued existence and financial stability depend on the goodwill of its Washington-based patrons-the very same people who do not hesitate to undertake military interventions around the globe in pursuit of their own selfish interests. NKHR is merely a cog in the American machinery of influence, while its deputy director—supported by those same circles-repeats ready-made formulas dictated to her by those who commission her work, including on the airwaves of a television station that is likewise funded from across the Atlantic. Polish viewers should be fully aware of this obvious conflict of interest.

Particularly outrageous, however, is the fact that NKHR, which so zealously speaks out about allegedly violated human rights in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, simultaneously supports reprehensible actions such as sending balloons deep into the North. The Polish public has not been widely informed about the disgraceful practice that allegedly took place during the COVID-19 pandemic. At a time when the DPRK—thanks to responsible and rational anti-epidemic measures—remained for years the only country in the world free of coronavirus, the balloons reportedly contained protective masks that had previously been used by infected individuals (the virus can remain viable on materials for up to eight hours), as well as other items originating from sick people. This was a deliberate and calculated act, allegedly intended to trigger an outbreak of infections and destabilise a sovereign state at the expense of the lives and health of ordinary citizens.

How, then, can organisations of this kind dare to present themselves as moral authorities and “educate” society when their activities are allegedly based on blatant falsehoods and support for such repugnant provocations? It is time for media audiences in Poland to open their eyes to this cynical game and recognise who truly stands behind the anti-Korean campaign-and on whose behalf its participants are acting.

‘Lies , Lies, Damned lies and GDP Statistics and the imperialist falsification of the Korean revolution’-special article by Dr Dermot Hudson (first published in "People's Korea Today ")

 ‘Lies , Lies, Damned lies and GDP Statistics and the imperialist falsification of the Korean revolution’

Recently , the “London Review of Books “ carried a review by someone called Ed Pulford  of two toxic anti-DPRK books  , one by a long standing anti-DPRK writer  Fyodor Tertitskiy who is part of the NKNews clique ( NKNews being a CIA front organisation funded by both the US and ROK puppet government ) and who has been resident in puppet south Korea( a state there is the No 1 enemy of the DPRK and has spent the past 80 years trying to overthrow the socialist system of the DPRK ) for 15 years(plenty of time to swallow massive slabs of  hateful anti-DPRK propaganda and be brainwashed by the puppets ) . Also Fyodor Tertitskiy writes for the notorious Daily NK, a far right south Korean website funded by the US National Endowment for Democracy (a CIA cutout ).Tertitskiy got a PhD in the puppet south and teaches at a south Korean puppet university . The other author reviewed is Michael Seth , an American academic from the James Madison University in Virginia , USA. Both authors obviously lack objectivity because of their backgrounds, this an understatement . Both books are crammed full of lies and smears steeped in anti-socialist propaganda and orientalism .

Scanning Pulford’s review and glancing at the two books I reminded of old discredited south Korean puppet propaganda of the 60s and 70s which tried deny the legitimacy of the DPRK and its origins and discredit it . These latest outpourings represent a recycling of old lies as part of the campaign of disinformation and de-legitimisation of the DPRK by Western imperialism.

Pulford’s review of the two anti-DPRK books is not worth the paper it is written on . Pulford does not mention Juche once in his review . Juche is the guiding ideology of the DPRK , without studying the Juche idea it is impossible to understand the DPRK . Writing about the DPRK without mentioning Juche is both illiterate and  is typical of imperialist journalism and historiography , it is done deliberately to demean and diminish the DPRK .It is done to fit the history of the DPRK into certain imperialist propaganda narratives .

Pulford claims “ North Korea​ is an anomaly. Its GDP per capita is at least thirty times smaller than South Korea’s, but it is also an industrialised, predominantly urban society with near total literacy and many more doctors and teachers than the other states below 150th place in global wealth rankings” . However this proves that paper GDP statistics are not an accurate measure of the wealth and economic power of a given country .In recent months even the “Wall Street Journal “ has been forced to grudgingly concede that the DPRK is growing fast . Indeed the DPRK does have 100 per cent literacy compared to 98 per cent for south Korea and a claimed 99 per literacy rate for the US (although this figure is very doubtful , it is probably much lower, maybe 75 per cent ) .By the 1960s the DPRK had 16 doctors  per 10,000 people , a very high level . By 2017 , according to the World Bank the DPRK had 3.7 Doctors per 1,000 people . This was higher than south Korea which had 2.4 doctors per 1,000 people ( of course medical care is not free in south Korea ) and the United States with 2.6 doctors per 1,000 . The World Bank also said that the number of hospital beds per 1,000 in the DPRK was 13.2 per 1,000 compared to 2.9 beds per 1,000 in the UK .So basically the DPRK has 4.55 times the number of hospital beds per 1,000 than the UK. South Korea’s much vaunted GDP statistics are basically fake because south Korea has huge debts apparently $1.3 trillion dollars which are unrepayable . Moreover , the south Korean puppet economy is about 80 per cent owned by foreign companies . South Korea is famous for its slums as well as big disparities in wealth distribution.

Pulford claims that President KIM IL SUNG came from a “relatively prosperous “ family . In fact President KIM IL SUNG was from a poor peasant family . Those of us who have been lucky enough to visit the DPRK have seen President KIM IL SUNG ‘s original home at Mangyongdae (it is doubtful whether Pulford, Seth or Tertitskiy have ever visited it ) on the outskirts of Pyongyang . It is a simple straw thatched home which did not even have a front door . KIM IL SUNG’s family were so poor that they could not afford to buy a new earthenware jar  and instead had to patch the existing one they had . The patched earthen jar is displayed at Mangyongdae to this very day . President KIM IL SUNG himself and many members of his family went through great hardships , his own mother Mrs Kang Ban Sok died at the early age of 32 . President KIM IL SUNG’s family was far from being “relatively prosperous “.

                                    

Pulford and the authors of the books he reviews totally false the history of the Korean revolution .Pulford falsely claims that President KIM IL SUNG joined the Communist Party of China in 1931 . Not only is there not a single shred of evidence for this assertion but it is a blatant falsification as President KIM IL SUNG had put forward the independent , Juche-based line of the Korean revolution at the famous Kalun Meeting in June 1930 . It was at the Kalun meeting in 1930 that the Juche idea was outlined in embryo form in the famous speech “The Path of the Korean Revolution “ . Korean communists under President KIM IL SUNG actually formed their party organisation , the Society For Rallying Comrades in July 1930 and later the Homeland Party Working Committee in 1934 . Pulford ignores the fact President KIM IL SUNG had to struggle against big power chauvinists in the Communist Party of China in the mid 1930s .

The Anti-Japanese Armed struggle was conducted in very harsh and difficult circumstances with a rear and external support . In fact the Korean guerrillas once asked the Soviet Union , the workers and peasants state, to supply a hand grenade factory but for whatever reason this did not materialise so President KIM IL SUNG had the anti-Japanese guerrillas create their own hand grenade , the Yongil bomb ( I have seen the original Yongil bomb at the museum of the Pyongchon revolutionary site ) in the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance.

The Anti-Japanese armed struggle led by President KIM IL SUNG is denied by south Korean sponsored Western liberal academics such as Tertitskiy but in fact is actually recorded in Japanese records .Some former Japanese army officers even recounted fighting battles with President KIM IL SUNG’ guerrillas . During the 1930s and 1940 President KIM IL SUNG became a legendary figure well known as  great guerrilla commander .

Keen to repeat and rehash old south Korean propaganda tropes, Pulford gets the date of the birth of President KIM IL SUNG’s successor , Chairman KIM JONG IL , wrong . It is actually 16 February 1942 not 1941 . Chairman KIM JONG IL was born in the Secret Camp at Mt Paekdu not in Russia . I was privileged to see Chairman KIM JONG IL ‘s birthplace at Mt Paektu in August 2017 . Chairman KIM JONG IL ‘s birth was witnessed by women anti-Japanese guerrillas . As for the story of “Yuri Kim “  , this person would have been a Soviet Korean or Russian Korean as many Koreans lived in the Soviet Union and not the same person as the great leader Chairman KIM JONG IL .Pulford ,  Tertitskiy and Seth are just falsifying facts and repeating old lies of the south Korean puppets .

The liberation of Korea is slandered and distorted by Pulford who ignores the role of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army . In fact the USSR which had concluded a neutrality agreement with Japan did not actually enter the war against Japan until the 9th of August 1945 some 6 days before Korea was liberated from Japanese rule . From 1940 the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army had carried out small unit operations against the Japanese .  In August 1945 the units of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army took the lead in storming Japanese positions  and there were armed uprisings by the Korean people but none of this is mentioned by Pulford. The role of the Anti-Japanese Armed struggle led by President KIM IL SUNG is internationally recognised as the World Cultural Congress in Havana ,Cuba in 1968 adopted a document praising it .

Ridiculously Pulford praises Tertitskiy along with his mentor Andrei Lankov as “world’s leading authorities” on the DPRK when they are both paid by south Korean puppet universities .Lankov teaches at Kookmin University in south Korea, a private university funded by a south Korean Jaebol( big business conglomerate) . South Korea, by the way, relies heavily on foreign teachers in its universities, thus exemplifying its dependency . Such "Korean Studies " of people like Lankov and Tertitskiy are believed to be funded and controlled by the south Korean spy agency the NIS .Lankov is typical of the "sausage intellectuals" as their critique of the USSR was simply that there was not enough sausage or not enough varieties of sausage.(such a viewpoint ignored things like full employment, subsidized housing and the like enjoyed by Soviet citizens. It is more accurate to say that Tertitskiy , Lankov and others are part of the massive 24/7 anti-DPRK propaganda machine created by the south Korean fascist puppets and Western intelligence agencies.

The DPRK was not a creation or copy of the USSR as Pulford falsely asserts .President KIM IL SUNG declared that the new People’s Korea would follow its own road and not be a copy of another country  . In Korea Soviets were not set up but instead people’s committees a new form of popular rule were established. Some factionalists and sycophants of big powers wanted to either copy the Soviet model or even build American style bourgeois democracy in the liberated Korea ! Some factionalists even wanted to make Korea a union republic of the Soviet Union !

 President KIM IL SUNG said “ The Korean revolution at the present stage is an anti-imperialist, anti-feudal democratic revolution. We must follow the road of progressive democracy which suits the Korean situation—neither Soviet

democracy nor American ‘democracy’. The road of progressive democracy, this is the very line, the right road, for the Korean revolution at present”

People’s Korea carried out the anti-imperialist anti-feudal democratic revolution . 

The choice of the name Democratic People’s Republic truly reflected the independent , people -oriented character of the DPRK .

Soviet troops were withdrawn from the DPRK in 1948. In the Eastern European people’s democracies they were not withdrawn until the 1980s. Straight after liberation the DPRK began to build its own independent munitions industry at Pyongchon against the wishes of some Soviet advisors . President KIM IL SUNG criticised the big power chauvinist tendencies of some Soviet advisors who opposed the building of an independent defence industry and tried to take industrial equipment back to the USSR as “reparations “ . The line of building an independent national economy was put forward as early as 1947 . The DPRK itself did not join the Council For Mutual Economic Assistance or Warsaw Pact.

The falsity of the assertions of Pulford and the two hack writers whose books he is reviewing is proved by 1956 August factional incident which Pulford mentions but contradicts himself by first saying that there was no purge and then saying that there was , make up your mind Pulford . In August 1956 pro-Soviet and pro-Chinese factions in the leadership of the WPK combined to try and overthrow the leadership of President KIM IL SUNG and overthrow the socialist system making the DPRK into a pro-US bourgeois republic . They were defeated by the unity of the people and some of the traitors were forced to run away to the USSR and China .

In the past south Korean anti-DPRK propaganda against the DPRK was full of contradictions ; one day it would be asserted that the DPRK was dependent on the USSR , another day that the DPRK was dependent on China , another time that it was dependent on both the USSR and China but at other times the puppets would claim that the DPRK was ‘extreme nationalist ‘ and opposed to its supposed allies . This schizophrenic mentality is reflected in the approach of Tertitskiy , Seth , Lankov and Pulford.

Pulford claims that the magnificent Pyongyang Metro was built with “Chinese aid “ but does not provide evidence . In actual fact I have visited the Pyongyang Metro Revolutionary Museum (one of my favourite museums in the DPRK ) which shows that the Pyongyang Metro was built by Koreans and not the Chinese . As the Beijing Metro and Pyongyang Metro were built roughly at the same time , it seems implausible that China could “aid “ the construction of the Pyongyang Metro.

Space does not permit me to refute all the lies , slanders, distortions and falsifications of Pulford and the authors of the books he is reviewing . Pulford repeats some of the dirtier , coarse and vile south Korean puppet propaganda against the DPRK supreme leadership . Also the mythical ‘caste system ‘ lie(which has been debunked is repeated  by Pulford .

Both Tertitskiy and Seth’s books, which form part of the West’s psychological warfare against the DPRK and Juche , along with Pulford’s review of them belong in the dustbin or at the local waste recycling centre  ! Neo-Militarists' Moves Will Bring Terrible Disaster to Japan: Int'l Security Affairs Analyst

Pyongyang, September 8 (KCNA) -- Kang Won Chol, an international security affairs analyst of the DPRK, released the following article "Neo-militarists' moves to turn the Japanese archipelago into an 'invincible aircraft carrier' will bring terrible disaster to Japan":

The neo-militarists of Japan, who have emerged as a warlike force after putting off the veil of "pacifist state", are bringing a whirlwind of building a war-capable state and reviving an aggressor nation to the archipelago. This pushes peace and security environment in the Northeast Asian region to a seriously critical phase.

As made public, Orient Shield will reportedly be staged by the Japan "Self-Defense Forces" in the largest-ever scale with the U.S. and Australian forces in and around Hokkaido of Japan from September 8 to 24, timed to coincide with the U.S.-Japan-ROK multi-domain tripartite joint military exercises that will be staged from September 7 to 11 in the Korean peninsula region.

Orient Shield is the military drill the ground SDF and U.S. army have staged since 1982 almost every year. Australian army joined it last year.

Asserting that the drill codenamed "Orient Shield" is aimed at "strengthening solidarity for coping with various threats in East Asia", Japan has openly pursued military confrontation with other regional countries.

3 700 troops from Japan, the U.S. and Australia will reportedly take part in the exercises to be staged around Hokkaido. The exercises involve live-ammunition firing, airborne dropping and the use of U.S. intermediate missile system Typhon deployed in Japan for Valiant Shield, large-scale mobile exercises of the U.S. Pacific forces held in June.

The Typhon system, composed of Mk41 vertical launching platforms, is capable of launching Tomahawk long-range cruise missile and SM-6 ship-to-air missile with each range of 1 600 km and 300 km, which means that it can be used to strike naval and ground targets.

Japan, which has focused on deploying long-range strike means in recent years by lavishing a huge amount of money as military expenditure, resorts to bilateral and multilateral joint military exercises with the U.S. and its vassal forces more eagerly than ever. This is a manifestation of their sinister scheme to round off its real war capabilities against the DPRK and other neighboring countries.

Japan, a defeated nation banned from possessing war capabilities, the right to participate in war and the right to belligerence, conducted the first test launch of Tomahawk long-range cruise missiles from a warship in the Pacific Ocean at the end of July in violation of its constitution. It is seeking to introduce even the U.S. forces' Typhon system into the war rehearsal. This is just targeting the regional sovereign countries and it is bad enough to amplify due concern and vigilance.

Moreover, the present Japanese regime seeks to stage a series of war games at the doorstep of neighboring countries with the backing of their American master seriously destroying and violating the existing international order through illegal and arbitrary practices and tyranny. Therefore, their dangerous military maneuvers indicate the present address of Japan evolving in an offensive manner with the passage of time.

The neo-militarist warmongers of Japan, who have added an item of "new combat mode" to the 2026 Defense White Paper, are persistently pushing ahead with such militarist policies as the determination of the highest-ever military expenditure, development of underwater-launched hypersonic missile and unmanned submarine capable of long-distance navigation, introduction of AI into the SDF commanding system and an attempt to reorganize the mechanism of the Ministry of Defense. Due to their moves, the hot air of reinvasion in the archipelago is reaching to an extreme.

In the past 80-odd years since its defeat, Japan has put its whole territory of archipelago ranging from Hokkaido to Kyushu into a nuclear forward base and a logistic base of the U.S. for aggression on the DPRK, clamoring about a "unsinkable aircraft carrier". Even now, it threw away the yoke of the defeated and is rushing headlong along neo-militarism. The international community should never remain a passive onlooker to this grave situation.

All the facts prove once again that the only prescription for controlling the descendants of militarism who inherited the genes of aggression is to have overwhelming and unparalleled war deterrent.

The more Japan tries to largely expand the scope of preemptive attack and secure actual war capability while giving off powder fumes in front of the nuclear weapons states, the more clearly the mainland of Japan will be in the sight of the neighboring countries.

The attempt of the neo-militarists of Japan to turn the whole archipelago into an "unsinkable aircraft carrier" will inevitably bring about enormous misfortune. -0
