KCNA Commentary Refutes Paid Media's False Story

    Pyongyang, January 23 (KCNA) -- Hostile forces and paid media are working hard to find a way-out in smear campaign against the DPRK.
    Taking the lead in it is south Korea's paid media.
    The ultra-right conservative media of south Korea is even floating a fictitious story to tarnish the ever-more growing dignity and authority of the supreme headquarters of the DPRK.
    We see this as the ignorance of the situation of the DPRK in which the army and the people have formed a harmonious whole with the leader, and a sordid hackwork of rubbish media which has thrown away the elementary appearance of journalism.
    The sun will always give off its light even though rats make nonsensical remarks moving around ditch, while finding it hard to raise their heads to the bright human world.
    It is true that the sun always shines and it is a foolish and ridiculous thing, at the same time, to attempt to eclipse the sunshine with a palm.
    Stories of great personality of the dear respected Marshal

Kim Jong Un and the news of his revolutionary activities are being distributed worldwide, drawing great attention of the people.
    Even journalists of hostile country who went round several places of the DPRK reported the situation of the DPRK in an objective and impartial way. They said that assumptions about the DPRK seemed like a false story.
    Only a handful of hostile forces doggedly turn away from the stark fact and try to distort the truth as they regard the DPRK as a thorn in the flesh.
    The vituperation made by hostile forces only reflects the fear and uneasiness of those who were much upset by the international dignity of the supreme headquarters of the DPRK and its single-minded unity.
    They even cooked up the story of "suspicion of operation" something unimaginable. This shows that they were overwhelmed and stunned by the sunny image of the great man of Mt. Paektu.
    The false report about the supreme headquarters of the DPRK released by the enemies is a hideous criminal act which the party, state, army and people can never tolerate as it is the most serious challenge to the dignity of the supreme leadership of the nation.
    Our army and people have already served a stern warning against this in the name of all Koreans. Those hurting the dignity of the supreme leadership of the nation should not expect any mercy or leniency.
    Time will clearly show what dear price the human scum and media in the service of traitors of south Korea, slaves of capital, will have to pay.
    It is extremely regretful that media of neighboring countries are playing into the hands of waiting maids for politicians.
    Objectivity, impartiality and accuracy are what keep media alive. They can earn trust of the international community only when they depend on truth. They can make a genuine contribution to the development of relations among countries and the development of human civilization only when they do so.
    Some media of China should draw a serious lesson from the fact that in November last year they echoed the false propaganda of forces hostile to the DPRK only to suffer international shame and they got accusation even at home that "they are deceived as they are cheating people."
    They are obliged to feel ashamed and repentant for playing the role of a guide to spreading anti-DPRK misinformation in breach of objectivity, impartiality and accuracy though they should perform their mission and role as a leader and organizer of genuine public opinion.
    Our army and people will advance more dynamically along the road of independence, Songun and socialism under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un. -0-

The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK, Juche Idea Study Group of England and the UK Korean Friendship Association today issued the following joint statement in support of the statement of the DPRK Foreign Ministry refuting the UNSC resolution on the DPRK's satellite launch.
                                Our organisations were deeply angered when we heard of the unjust , reactionary and criminal resolution of the UNSC against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. We were shocked that the UNSC even went as far to  impose sanctions on the Korean Committee for Space Technology. This is a serious affront to the DPRK's dignity as well an intentional step to block the DPRK's development of technology and pursuit of space exploration. It is bad enough that the UNSC  took issue with the DPRK satellite launch which is the sovereign right of the DPRK an independent but to impose sanctions on the DPRK Committee for Space Technology really has gone too far and shows the sinister intention of the UNSC ,which is controlled by US imperialism , to stifle Korean-style socialism.
                                                          It is laughable that some people thought that the UNSC resolution was "prudent" and " cautious" . It is in fact an extremist resolution run through with the logic of big power bullying .
                                                 The United Nations is fast becoming discredited in the world , even regarded as a joke by some. The UNSC resolution shows the height of hypocrisy and double standards.  The US and several other countries whichvoted for the resolution all have launched satellites and in the case of the US and Russia have decades old space  programmes. Why are they taking issue with the socialist DPRK's satellite launch. It is very much the logic of "do as I say but don’t do as I do". The US imperialists and their UNSC acolytes seem to think that space exploration is something reserved for an exclusive club of countries and any newcomers should be barred from joining it and actively punished for trying to join it. 
                 The UNSC is a marionette of US imperialism. In fact it is just a rubber stamp body to approve decisions made by US imperialism. The members of the UN Security Council are puppet states , vassals and the yes-men of US imperialism.

    We strongly believe that all anti DPRK resolutions adopted by the UNSC should be repealed completely. The UNSC must issue an apology to the DPRK. We hopethat independent and progressive countries that love justice will ignore the reactionary UNSC resolution and throw into the dustbin of history.

           We firmly support the right of the DPRK to pursue space exploration and to launch more application satellites  in order to become an economic giant.

    It is a totally correct and just stand expressed by the DPRK Foreign Ministry toregard the 19 September 2005 statement of the six-party talks as being defunct.Now peace on the Korean peninsula can only be secured by negotiations for the withdrawal of US forces from Korea rather than talks aimed at denuclearisation.

        We support the stance of the DPRK to quantitatively and qualitatively bolster self-defence capabilities including nuclear deterrence . Furthermore we support the  will of the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK to root out the source of provocation.
   The DPRK will be victorious as it advances along the road of independence and  Songun led by the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.

We, the ASSPUK, JISGE and UK KFA , call upon all friends of the DPRK , Juche idea and Songun idea followers plus the independence and justice loving peoples of the world to unite to defend the DPRK and ensure the manifestly unjust
UNSC resolution is scrapped.

DPRK FM Refutes UNSC's "Resolution" Pulling up DPRK over Its Satellite Launch

  Pyongyang, January 23 (KCNA) -- The DPRK Foreign Ministry Wednesday issued the following statement:
    The DPRK's successful launch of satellite Kwangmyongsong 3-2 in December last year fully demonstrated its space science and technology and its overall national power. This was a stark fact favored by the world and recognized even by hostile forces including the United States.
    In the wake of desperate efforts on the part of the U.S. and its followers to block the victorious advance of the DPRK, they cooked up a "resolution" of the UN Security Council on Tuesday in wanton violation of the inviolable sovereignty of the DPRK.
    The U.S.-sponsored "resolution" is run through with hostile steps aiming at banning DPRK's satellite launch for peaceful purposes and tightening "sanctions" against it to block its economic development and hamstring its work for developing economy and bolstering up defence capability.
    The above-said countries insist that the DPRK's satellite launch is problematic, asserting that "it uses ballistic missile technology" though they know better than any others about the fact that ballistic missile technology is the only means for launching satellite and they launch satellites more than any others. This is self-deception and the height of double-standards.
    The essence of the matter is the U.S. brigandish logic that a satellite launch for peaceful purposes by a country which the U.S. antagonizes should not be allowed because any carrier rocket launched by it can be converted into long-range ballistic missile threatening the U.S. The UNSC is a marionette of the U.S.
    The UNSC "resolutions" adopted under the pretext of the DPRK's satellite launches are products of its blind pursuance of the hostile policy of the U.S. seeking disarmament of the DPRK and collapse of its system in violation of the universally accepted international laws.
    Repeating wrongdoings without courage or responsibility to rectify them are despicable behaviors of cowards deceiving themselves and others. They are putting the peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and in the region at greater peril.
    The present situation clearly proves that the DPRK should counter the U.S. hostile policy with strength, not with words and that the road of independence and Songun chosen by the DPRK is entirely just.
    To cope with the prevailing situation, the DPRK Foreign Ministry declares as follows:
    First, the DPRK flatly rejects the unjust acts of the UNSC aimed at wantonly violating the sovereignty of the DPRK and depriving it of the right to launch satellites for peaceful purposes.
    The hostile forces are seriously mistaken if they think they can bring down the DPRK with sanctions and pressure, and such an attempt will always bring them a disgraceful defeat.
    The UNSC should apologize for its crime of seriously encroaching upon the independence of a sovereign state, following the U.S. policy hostile to the DPRK in disregard of the universally recognized international laws, and repeal all the unreasonable "resolutions" at once.
    Second, the DPRK will continue to exercise its independent and legitimate right to launch satellites for peaceful purposes while abiding by universally recognized international law on the use of space for peaceful purposes.
    Scientists and technicians of the DPRK will develop and launch many more application satellites including communications satellite and more powerful carrier rockets essential for building an economic giant in the same spirit and mettle as were displayed in successfully launching satellite Kwangmyongsong 3-2.
    The DPRK will continuously launch satellites for peaceful purposes to conquer space and become a world-level space power.
    Third, the DPRK drew a final conclusion that denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula is impossible unless the denuclearization of the world is realized as it has become clear now that the U.S. policy hostile to the DPRK remains unchanged.
    The September 19 joint statement adopted at the six-party talks on the principle of respect for sovereignty and equality has now become defunct and the prospect for denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula has become gloomier, due to the U.S. hostile policy to the DPRK that has become evermore pronounced.
    There can be talks for peace and stability of the Korean Peninsula and the region in the future, but no talks for the denuclearization of the peninsula.
    Fourth, the DPRK will take steps for physical counteraction to bolster the military capabilities for self defence including the nuclear deterrence both qualitatively and quantitatively to cope with the evermore undisguised moves of the U.S. to apply sanctions and pressure against the DPRK.
    The revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK will reliably defend the security and sovereignty of the country and safeguard the regional peace and stability with the might of Songun. They are full of the steadfast will to take a bold step to root out the source of provocations the hostile forces seek to continue against the DPRK.
    No force on earth can block the great people proud of independence, powerful thanks to Songun politics and advancing in unity, convinced of truth. -0-

                   The  Association for the Study of Songun Politics and the Juche Idea Study Group of England today issued the following joint statement on the 45th anniversary of the capture of the USS "Pueblo" by the navy of the Korean People's Army commanded by the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung

            The USS Pueblo was an armed spy ship that had intruded deep into DPRK territorial waters just off the east coast port of Wonsan and was captured fair and square by a naval unit of the Korean People's Army on the 23rd of January 1968. A small vessel of the KPA Navy with a few sailors was able to overpower the 80+strong crew of the "Pueblo" dispatching one of them and capturing the rest .Today the USS Pueblo is moored on  the banks of the River Taedong  a true rarity , the only US navy ship that is in the hands of another country. It is a floating monument to the stupidity of the bellicose US imperialists.
 
The US imperialists knowing no shame arrogantly and brazenly demanded the DPRK return the ship and threatened to attack the DPRK. It is now known that the US in fact planned a nuclear attack on the DPRK . However the DPRK under the Songun revolutionary leadership of the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung stood firm. Speaking to the KPA officers and men he said
"The intrusion of the armed spy ship Pueblo into our territorial waters was rank piracy, a flagrant encroachment upon the rights of a sovereign state and a link in chain of premeditated U.S imperialist manoeuvrings aimed at unleashing a new war in Korea .
                    If the US imperialists persist in their attempt to solve the matter by mobilizing their armed forces to threaten and blackmail us, they will get nothing out of it, if they do get anything it will only be corpses and death.
                   We do not want war, but we are not afraid of it. Our people and People's Army will retaliate for the 'retaliation 'of the US imperialists, return all-out war for all-out war. The US imperialist must surely be aware that , if they aggravate the situation and take the road of war despite our warnings they will suffer an even heavier defeat next time"

This fully encapsulated the revolutionary and militant anti-imperialist stand of Songun.
             The modern revisionists, the agents of the US imperialists, chimed in with the pressure of the US imperialists advising the DPRK to hand the ship back with its crew. The DPRK adhering to the Juche stand rejected this capitulationist nonsense and  stood rock- firm and refused to hand back the ship. The crew were freed once the US imperialists had given a written apology for their actions and assurances that it would not happen again. This was a great victory for the DPRK and dealt a strong blow to aggressive US imperialism. It greatly encouraged the revolutionary peoples of the world in their struggle against US imperialism. It showed that people could take on US imperialism and win.
                The capture of the USS Pueblo was a great example of the anti-imperialist Songun revolutionary leadership in action.

Anniversary of the raid on the Chongwadae (Blue House)-a page from the history of the south Korean revolutionary movement

            It is 45 years since a group of south Korean armed guerrillas launched an attack on the  Chongwadae or Blue House the presidential mansion of south Korean fascist puppet ruler Park Chung Hee. On the night of the 21st of January a group of south Korean guerrillas advanced to within 500 metres of the Chongwadaeand opened fire. In the ensuing battle more than 400 US troops were killed or wounded as well south Korean puppet troops.
                                          The south Korean puppets have falsely claimed that the incident was the result of "infiltration the north ". This is nonsense. For one thing it would have been extremely difficult to infiltrate across the heavily guarded De Militarised Zone with its minefields and get as far as Seoul. The fascist regime of Park Chung Hee was notorious for faking up spy cases and 'infiltration' incidents in order to jail or put to death dissidents (such as the two "People's  Revolutionary Party " cases )
                                Armed guerrilla struggle in south Korea arose because of the acute social, class and national contradictions  as well as the oppression of the people by the south Korean puppet regime . The successive fascist dictatorships in south Korea denied the people of all possiblities for peaceful and democraticstruggle so there was no alternative but to turn to armed struggle. Armed struggle had a long history in south Korea going back to the 1940s when there were armed uprisings against Syngham Rhee and the US imperialist overlords. After the end of the Korean war guerrillas such as Jong Sun Dok fought the south Korean puppet regime in the mountains until the 1960s. In the 1960s the militant anti-imperialists took up arms to fight against the Park Chung Hee fascist puppet regime that was oppressing and exploiting the people and selling out the country to its masters the US imperialists and Japanese militarists.

                                We salute the memory of the heroic guerrillas of south Korea who fought for liberation and national reunification.

The Nuclear Test that wasn't more south Korean and Western media lying exposed !

More south Korean lies repeated glibly by the Western media . Quote "We have heard that a North Korean official in Beijing told the Chinese side that the North planned to carry out a nuclear test between January 13 and 20," the South Korean Joongang newspaper quoted an official in Seoul as saying". Well January 20th has come and gone but no nuclear test !. This is example of the lies told by the south Korean puppets. They should try putting more tonic in their gin or something !. The DPRK will only conduct a nuclear test in response to hostile and reactionary measures by the US imperialists and other imperialists .
