Victory after victory

 

The glorious DPRK marks its 75th founding anniversary.

The founding of DPRK by President Kim Il Sung was a great event which signaled the birth of the most genuine people's country in the world and provided a sure guarantee for rosy future of the lasting prosperity of the Korean nation.

Thanks to the tireless and devoted efforts of the President, the young Republic with only two years since its foundation defended the state's freedom and independence, and the gains of the revolution with honor by defeating the US imperialists, who boasted of being "the strongest" in the world.

And it has turned into an independent, self-supporting and self-defensive socialist power in the shortest span of historic time.

True to the President's noble idea, Chairman Kim Jong Il laid a solid foundation for building a socialist power with his prominent and original Songun revolutionary leadership.

Today, the cause of building a socialist power of Juche, the lifelong desire of the great leaders is steadily carried forward by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

In the past decade, the respected President of the State Affairs has turned the DPRK into a powerful country throughout the world with his extraordinary intelligence, outstanding leadership and tireless efforts and brought about a series of miraculous victories and great changes beyond thought.

The DPRK has magnificently towered as a symbol of independence and dignity as well as an invincible military power revered by the world which no enemy, however formidable, dare challenge.

It is unthinkable separated from the sacred leadership of the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The DPRK has also won a victory in the anti-epidemic campaign and erected a large number of grand monumental edifices for the people to enjoy civilization and prosperity under the wise guidance of the respected Marshal.

Witnessing the eye-opening reality in which the Republic steers international political trend to independence and justice in defiance of the high-handed and arbitrary practices of the imperialists, the south Korean people and the world progressives are confident about the bright future of the Korean nation and humanity.

The ever-victorious and glorious 75 year-long history of the DPRK proves the dignity of a country is enhanced on the highest level, a national strength is displayed throughout the world and rosy future of a nation is guaranteed only when a nation is led by the great leader generation after generation.

Now all Korean people burn their hearts with a resolve to hasten the cause of national independence under the leadership of Kim Jong Un, the respected President of the State Affairs, holding the President and the Chairman in high esteem forever.

 

Japan Should Set Proper Course

 

Pyongyang, September 2 (KCNA) -- Kim Sol Hwa, a researcher of the Institute for Japan Studies of the DPRK Foreign Ministry, issued the following article "Japan should set proper course" on September 2:

Japan's dangerous arms buildup has gone beyond the limit that can no longer be overlooked.

It can be illustrated by the fact that the U.S. recently approved the sale of air-to-surface missiles and related equipment at the repeated request of Japan.

Japan is planning to purchase 50 missiles at the cost of 104 million U.S. dollars. The above-said missile is a long-range cruise missile (JASSM) with a range of about 900 km.

Not content with this, Japan is speeding up the development of its domestic long-range missiles.

For instance, it has stepped up the mass-production of high-speed gliding projectiles and the development of hypersonic guided missiles while extending the range of type 12 surface-to-ship guided missile, a cruise missile delivered to the ground "Self-Defense Force", to over 1 000 km and remodeling it to ensure its operation in the air and the sea, to say nothing of ground.

It is an open secret that Japan has steadily renewed and expanded its military muscle into attack type by throwing off the principle of "exclusive defense" under which Japan is constitutionally bound to give up war and has no right of war potentials and belligerency and it is allowed only to possess "the minimum defense capability" if necessary.

Japan is working hard to secure the capability for preemptive attack by massively deploying long-range missiles with the extended range and thus turn it into a country capable of fighting a war. Such behavior reminds one of the eve of the Pacific War in the past.

It is by no means fortuitous that a Japanese media deplored that Japan has come again to the "point of irrevocable return" for war or may have gone beyond it, saying that "2023 would be the eve of a new war".

All facts clearly show that Japan is buckling down to the implementation of the security strategy, the undisguised doctrine of preemptive attack and war guidelines revised at the end of last year, and that the engine of "reinvasion ship" built by Japanese militarism started operation.

What merits a serious attention is that the U.S., chieftain of aggression and war, systematically brings the "spearhead" of reinvasion to the hands of Japan keen on turning itself into a military giant, with a view to using Japan as a shock brigade for carrying out its Indo-Pacific strategy.

While praising Japan's access to "counterattack capability" as the possession of "ability for bolstering up its deterrence in the region", the U.S. revealed its attempt to strengthen the military alliance on the basis of it. And it is mulling introducing 400 Tomahawk long-range cruise missiles with a range of about 1 600 km into Japan. There are much more examples showing its sordid intention to use Japan as the cannon-fodder for a war of aggression.

Japan, which completely removed the veil of a "pacifist state" with the backing of the U.S., is seeking to revive the "Imperial Japan" which dreamed of dominating the world after occupying the vast Asian continent in the past. This is no more than a daydream.

Those countries in the region which Japan seeks to put in the firing range of long-range missiles are not the weak countries a century ago when Japan ran amuck, putting them on the altar for realizing the ambition for the "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere".

Japan should prudently decide the course of its choice whether to run headlong into the abyss of ruin through its absurd arms buildup or to establish good-neighborly relations with neighboring countries and co-exist peacefully.

If Japan raises the anchor of the "reinvasion ship", despite the repeated warnings of the regional community, it will be a matter of time for it to face a wreck. -0-

Report of the 1st session of the European Regional Forum for Friendship,Solidarity and Exchange with the Korean People for the 75th anniversary of the foundation of the DPRK   02.09.2023

The 1st session of European Regional Forum for Friendship,Solidarity and Exchange with the Korean People for the 75th anniversary of the foundation of the DPRK organised by the Korean Friendship Association of the UK and the European Regional Preparatory Committee for the 75th anniversary of the DPRK took place on the 2nd of September from 1400 hours to 1630 hours . The event consisted of a physical meeting in the Marchmont Centre  Central London and an online meeting via Zoom . The online meeting was held with the kind assistance of KFA Germany.

Participating directly in person in London were members of KFA UK ,the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea , KFA Germany, the Belgium -Korea Friendship Association as well as the New Communist Party,the Internationalist Revolutionary Communist Party  and Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain Marxist Leninist .

 Participating online was the Sweden Korea  Friendship Association, comrade Alejandro Cao De Benos President of the Korean Friendship Association , the leader of the International Solidarity Group with the DPRK and representatives of the group. Members of KFA UK from Staffordshire ,Scotland and Liverpool also joined the meeting online as well as people from the following countries ; Austria , Belgium ,Germany , Spain , Russia , Poland , Belarus , Luxembourg, Pakistan  and other countries.

Christer Lundgren in his keynote address said that “During its 75 years of existence the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea has had extremely challenging difficulties to overcome, including the fierce Fatherland Liberation War, the postwar reconstruction and industrialization, continuous war threats and extreme economic difficulties caused by the imperialists’ manoeuvres to isolate and stifle the People’s Korea as well as by the collapse of some other socialist countries.”

Comrade Kim Song Gi of the DPRK Embassy brought greetings from the embassy to the meeting . He said that under the correct leadership of  President KIM IL SUNG and Chairman KIM JONG IL the DPRK travelled the road of struggle, never giving up even though the moves of the hostile forces continue to this day .

Alejandro Cao De Benos President of the Korean Friendship Association  in his speech that “ The fact that the DPRK has withstood the test of time, disasters, sanctions and imperialist threats for 75 years, is evidence of the invincible validity of its system and the full support of the korean people in its future. I am fully confident that as long as Korea is guided by the exemplary Leaders of Mt. Paektu, only victories awaits in the path of happiness.”

Dr Dermot Hudson Secretary General of the European Regional Preparatory Committee for the 75th anniversary of the foundation of the DPRK and chairman of KFA UK  in his address stressed that “

From the first day of its foundation, the DPRK has advanced along the road of Juche, the road of self-reliance, independence and socialism. Juche Korea was not a copy of another country but a unique and original state”

Jef Bossyut of the Belgium Korea Friendship Association denounced the US imperialist war moves against the DPRK .

The vice-chairman of KFA Germany said that “Today, the DPRK has become a socialist paradise with the highest living standard in the world. There is no other country in the world where taxes are abolished, there is no other country in the world where housing is free, and there are only a few other countries in the world without unemployment and homelessness, but with free healthcare and free housing”.

Michael Chant of the Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain Marxist Leninist praised the achievements of the DPRK and stressed the need for solidarity with the DPRK.

Andy Brooks, general secretary of the New Communist Party praised the DPRK for self-reliance.

The head of Staffordshire KFA UK recalled his visit to the DPRK for the 70th anniversary of the foundation of the DPRK.

Comrade Alan Bolon , KFA UK Organisation Secretary and head of KFA UK West of England gave a lecture titled “Democratic People's Republic of Korea,A country of happiness and prosperity under the star of Juche style Socialism” in which pointed out that “the last decade of developing Peoples Korea shows clearly that the path from the beginning time, from foundations and guerilla's was and is absolutely right. People's Korea is growing in strength and power in the military and economic spheres. The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is an 'Asian - superpower' in our age”

Counteraction Drill for Important Purpose Conducted in DPRK

Pyongyang, September 3 (KCNA) -- After their adventurous large-scale joint exercises, the enemies staged again a joint guided missile firing and aerial bombing drill involving tens of different fighters for two days from August 31 to continuously escalate tensions and more openly reveal their military confrontation scheme against the DPRK.

The recklessness and dangerous nature of the confrontation hysteria recently betrayed by the U.S. and the gangsters of the "Republic of Korea" are unprecedented in history.

The Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) issued an order to conduct a relevant military drill to fully demonstrate the action will and capability to deter the enemies' attempts for a war of aggression.

In its written drill order, the WPK Central Military Commission stressed the importance of the drill and sent militant encouragement to the missile soldiers, affirming that the great power of the DPRK will soon reduce into misgivings the so-called self-pride and relieved feelings about the superiority of the combined air forces which the enemies seek to demonstrate continuously.

A firing drill for simulated tactical nuclear attack was conducted at dawn of September 2 to warn the enemies of the actual nuclear war danger.

A high-spirited strategic cruise missile-armed unit of the Korean People's Army in the western region of the country conducted the relevant military activities.

Prior to the drill, there was an inspection of the procedures for authenticating the nuclear attack order and the rapid operation normality of the technical and mechanical devices of the launch approval system, and two long-range strategic cruise missiles tipped with mock nuclear warheads were fired in an actual war environment according to rapid approval procedures.

The missile sub-unit involved in the drill fired the long-range strategic cruise missiles toward the West Sea of Korea from the mouth of the River Chongchon. The unit successfully carried out its nuclear strike mission by making sure that the missiles flied along the pattern "8" flight track simulating the distance of 1 500 kilometers for 7 672-7 681 seconds respectively and their warheads detonated at a preset altitude of 150 meters above the target island.

The Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea repeatedly stressed the need to take offensive actions for affording the understanding of the DPRK nuclear force's deterrence, calling on all the service personnel of the nuclear force to maintain high alertness and mobilized posture and make the U.S. and the military gangsters of the "ROK" more clearly understand the situation that has reached a serious threat through the overpowering exercise of the war deterrence.

The nuclear force of the DPRK will bolster up its responsible combat counteraction posture in every way to deter war and preserve peace and stability. -0-

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Inspects Pukjung Machine Complex and Major Munitions Factory

 Pyongyang, September 3 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the DPRK, inspected the Pukjung Machine Complex and a major munitions factory.

He was accompanied by Secretaries Jo Yong Won and Kim Jae Ryong, Department Director Jo Chun Ryong and Vice Department Directors Kim Yo Jong and Choe Myong Chol of the WPK Central Committee.

He was greeted by leading officials of the complex and the munitions factory on the spot.

He appreciated the workers of the complex for boosting production, true to the Party's policies of national defence and economic construction.

Looking round various production lines of the complex, he learned about the current state of technical equipment and the orientation of its technological updating.

He expressed full support and great satisfaction, acquainting himself with the production goals to be fulfilled by the Party members and other working people of the complex till the end of the year.

Noting that the complex is playing an important role that no others can replace in developing the shipbuilding industry of the country and strengthening the naval forces of the DPRK, Kim Jong Un put forward the revolutionary policy on ushering in a new era of the shipbuilding industry to the complex.

He affirmed that a future plenary meeting of the Central Committee of the WPK would set forth an important line of the modernization of the complex and the development orientation of the shipbuilding industry of the country.

Saying that the WPK firmly believes the revolutionary working class of the complex, he expressed his great expectation and conviction that the Party members and other working people of the complex with the brilliant fighting tradition of taking the lead in implementing the Party's policies of national defence and economy by fully displaying the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance with the spirit of devoted implementation in every decade of the revolution would heartily accept the new crucial decision of the Party Central Committee reflecting the important requirements of our revolution and unconditionally respond to it with elated enthusiasm.

Then he inspected a major munitions factory.

He expressed satisfaction over the progress made in the technical updating of the factory and indicated the orientation of establishing additional production capacity.

Stressing the importance of the position and role of the factory in bolstering up the armed forces of the DPRK, he expressed great expectation and belief that the workers of the factory would uphold the Party's policy of the national defence development with high abilities and through strong practice, cherishing intense loyalty to the Party and the revolution and patriotism. -0-

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK) , the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, the UK Korean Friendship Association (UK KFA )  ,and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in Korea (BSCPRKP issued a joint statement to mark the  occasion of the 75th  anniversary of the foundation of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea(DPRK) by the great leader President KIM IL SUNG:

On the 9th of September 1948, 75 years ago , the Democratic People's Republic of Korea , a Juche-orientated socialist state , was born.  It is a testimony to the vitality of the Juche idea and the correctness of the policies laid down by President KIM IL SUNG , Chairman KIM JONG IL and respected Marshal KIM JONG UN that the DPRK is celebrating its 75th anniversary .

  The foundation of the DPRK was the birth of a new state of Juche in the far east ! The DPRK was the first people's democracy in  Asia, a new kind of people's power. With the foundation of the DPRK the Korean people took power in their own hands.

    The DPRK inherited the proud traditions of the anti-Japanese revolutionary armed struggle led by the great leader President KIM IL SUNG. Indeed the anti-Japanese revolutionary armed struggle is the root of the DPRK.

                                                          

                                          

      The foundation of the DPRK was a powerful inspiration to the oppressed peoples  of the world ,groaning under imperialist oppression, in their struggle for independence and national liberation. It was also a great inspiration to the international proletariat advancing towards socialism .

    The DPRK under the wise leadership of the great leader comrade KIM IL SUNG fully completed the tasks of the anti-imperialist, anti- feudal democratic revolution in a short space of time and switched over to the socialist revolution proving the validity of the Juche-orientated theory on continuous revolution. The DPRK is not a replica of another country and pursues independent Juche-orientated policies. It is based firmly on the principles of independence, self-sufficiency and self-defence. As great generalissimo KIM JONG IL said "Our Republic is an independent socialist State that absolutely maintains its Juche character and thoroughly preserves its national identity in its development and activities.

  The Juche character and national identity are the independence and lifeline of a country, a nation and the masses of the people. The struggle of the masses for independence is waged with the country and nation as a unit, so the party, the government and the masses of each country should conduct the revolution and construction independently and creatively as masters."

   Indeed the DPRK is known by friend and foe as the most independent state in the world.

    Under the wise leadership of President KIM IL SUNG  the DPRK created a people-centred socialist system in which there is no exploitation and oppression .The improvement of the people's living standards is the supreme principle of state activity and this is underpinned by legalisation. The DPRK  introduced free medical care and free education. It abolished taxation in 1974. The DPRK is a people's paradise. As the great eternal leader President KIM IL SUNG  said

"Our people are now enjoying fully independent and creative lives in the embrace of the Republic, as masters of the state and society.

In our country all the people exercise their full rights to independence through their active participation in the political life of the state. They are adding lustre to their worthwhile lives through their creative struggle to achieve the high aim set by the Party, helping and leading each other forward, closely united on the basis of revolutionary constancy and comradeship. All the material and cultural needs, such as food, clothing, and housing, are met by the state, which also provides them with secure jobs according to their abilities. They are leading equally happy lives, receiving the benefits of free education, free medical care and so on from the state and society."

. Today the DPRK is marching ahead holding high the banner of Juche , the banner of self-reliance bravely defying the sanctions of the US-led imperialist hostile forces.

Glory to the 75th anniversary of the foundation of the glorious Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the homeland of Juche!

Greetings to Vietnamese Party and State Leaders

Pyongyang, September 2 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a message of greeting to Nguyen Phu Trong, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and Vo Van Thuong, president of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on Sept. 2

He in the message extended warm congratulations to the general secretary and the president and the party, government and people of Vietnam on the 78th birthday of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

After the birth of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Communist Party, government and people of Vietnam defended the independence and sovereignty of the country, achieved the unification cause of the country and made many successes in socialist construction, the message said, adding:

Under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Vietnamese people are now waging a vigorous struggle for building a developed and prosperous socialist state, true to the resolution of the 13th Party Congress.

Being convinced that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two parties and countries will further develop in conformity with the aspiration and desire of the two peoples, I wish the general secretary and the president greater successes in your responsible work for the strengthening of the party and the state and for the wellbeing of the people. -0-
