The 72nd founding anniversary of the DPRK is near at a time when the dignity and prestige of the DPRK led by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un are fully demonstrated throughout the world.

The DPRK founded on September 9, Juche 37 (1948) by President Kim Il Sung has created epoch-making changes and miracles in the building of a socialist power under the judicious leadership of the peerless great leaders.

The President built the DPRK a socialist ideal one that is independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in defense with his warm love for his people and tireless leadership.

Chairman Kim Jong Il firmly defended the dignity and sovereignty of the nation and turned the DPRK as the powerful fortress for the national prosperity and the realization of the independent reunification with his outstanding guidance, true to the President’s idea and line of building of the state.

The DPRK, precious heritage left by the President and the Chairman, enjoys the greatest heyday of its development under the leadership of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

The Supreme Leader, with the noble mission to add brilliance to the idea of state building and exploits of the preceding leaders for ages, put the DPRK on the position of powerful politico-ideological, military and economic potentials which no enemy dares provoke with his matchless pluck, firm resolve and rare political acumen.

The DPRK evokes world-wide admiration for its heroic deeds in the building of a socialist power on the strength of single-hearted mind, military muscle, self-development, science and technology in the face of inhuman and coldhearted sanctions of the imperialists.

The south Korean people and Juche idea followers of the world speak highly of the DPRK which is led by the Supreme Leader as the beacon of hope for the world progressives.

The DPRK will record only triumph and glory forever as it is led by the peerless great man.

 

Disgraceful history of occupation

 

It has been 75 years since the US occupied south Korea illegally.

The US troops have inflicted intolerable miseries and pains upon the south Korean people after the liberation of Korea.

In retrospect, the history of the Yankee’s occupation of south Korea is the one of crimes dotted with infringement of national sovereignty and hideous crimes.

The US army has committed fiendish barbarities such as massacre, murder, robbery, rape and violence against the south Korean people from the first day when they set their bloodstained jackboots in south Korea.

The number of criminal acts of the US army stands at 2 000 cases in a year, five cases per day on an average, after the humiliating and unequal status-of-forces agreement was signed.

National division still persists and peace has not yet settled on the peninsula owing to the US occupation of south Korea for 75 years. The Korean Peninsula has never been free from the constant danger of war.

The US has resorted to all sorts of despicable moves to realize its strategy for swallowing up the Korean Peninsula and domination over Asia, taking advantage of the peninsula as a springboard. It has exhausted every possibility to promote its national interests by perpetuating the division of Korea.

 The annual south Korea-US joint war exercises such as Key Resolve, Foal Eagle and Ssangyong are preliminary and nuclear test war to light the fuse of a war against north Korea from A to Z.

Not long ago, the US and the south Korea screwed up military tension on the Korean Peninsula by conducting the joint military drill.

The pain of divided nation and potential danger of war, the miserable plight of the people, constant damage caused by the occupation army and traitorous acts of the pro-US boot licking elements in south Korea, this is the true picture of south Korea.

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK) , the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, the UK Korean Friendship Association (UK KFA )  ,and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in Korea (BSCPRKP issued a joint statement about the 75th anniversary of the occupation of south Korea by US troops and the criminal division of Korea by the US imperialists:

                                                     

On the 8th of September 1945 US troops landed in south Korea. Korea had already been liberated on the 15th of August by the heroic guerrillas of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army commanded by the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung. The Korean people were out to build a new life but in south Korea the US troops ruined this. Right from the start the US troops committed atrocities against the Korean people . One of their first actions was to suppress the people's committees that had been set up by the people in south Korea. They brutally suppressed the communist and progressive forces in south Korea killing many people . The US troops drenched Jeju Island in blood when the people there rose up. It is the US that created various fascist dictatorships in south Korea such as the Park Chung Hee fascist regime( a prototype for pro imperialist reactionary fascist dictatorships in the oppressed countries of the third world). It was the US that instigated the Kwangju massacre in 1980 in which over 2,000 people died.

                   The US imperialists, the chieftain of world imperialism and ringleader of international reaction committed the very serious criminal action of dividing Korea, a homogeneous nation which had existed for more than 5,000 years. Korea was a a civilised nation when America was just a wilderness.  Indeed the Korean nation existed long before the US did. The occupation of south Korea by US troops today is the main factor causing Korea's division. The very presence of US imperialist troops in south Korea is an insult to the Korean people.

                                                The  75 years of the occupation of south Korea by the US troops  have been 75 years of misfortune and crime . They have been 75 years of oppression of the south Korean people by the US troops. The US troops in south Korea enjoy extra-territorial privileges in south Korea which means in effect that they can act like colonial overlords in south Korea and can commit crimes such a murder, rape, theft and drug dealing with impunity. The south Korean people are forced to pay taxes for the "upkeep" of the US troops and their bases. This is simply a form of colonial tribute . South Korea has become an anachronism, a colony of the modern type in the 21st century .

 Another enormous crime committed by the US in Korea was dividing the Korean nation which had been a homogeneous nation for 5,000 years . The US imperialists have inflicted the severe emotional pain of division on the Korean people.

  The US troops have been in south Korea 75 years too long . We believe that they should get out of south Korea at once . Korea must be reunified independently , the US troops should leave south Korea and leave the Korean people in peace to settle their own affairs .

Short review of 'Global Farmy Songun Internationale '

                                

The book ' Global Farmy Songun Internationale ' written by Dr M Jahanghir Khan of Bangladesh is a truly weighty volume.

It consists of several of Dr Khan's earlier books and an early new book "Ever Lighting Beacon '

'Ever Lighting Beacon deals with the DPRK- US confrontation and also the international role of the DPRK in the struggle imperialism , revision and the struggle to revive socialism .

What caught my eye was a veritable goldmine of information about the positions taken by the DPRK and Workers Party of Korea in the early 1960s including the struggle against revisionism . The book is very scathing about Khruschov and has a few new facts about him I was particularly interested to read about the Asian Economic Seminar in 1964 . There is an interesting anecdote about the Soviet revisionists exploiting an un-named African country .

Dr Khan also gives a good defence of the DPRK's record on human rights.

Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un Sends Greetings to Vietnamese Political Party Leader

 Pyongyang, September 2 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), Wednesday sent a message of greeting to Nguyen Phu Trong, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and president of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The message extended warm congratulations to the general secretary and the friendly party, government and people of Vietnam on the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

It said that the Socialist Republic of Vietnam repelled outside forces' aggression and interference and won a great victory in the struggle for national liberation, the country's reunification and socialist construction for the past 75 years after its foundation.

Kim Jong Un said in the message that he was very pleased that the Vietnamese people have made many achievements in the struggle for building a prosperous and civilized socialist state under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam led by the general secretary.

Expressing the belief that the long-standing relations of friendship and cooperation between the two parties and between the two countries would further develop onto a new high stage in the spirit of the agreement made with the general secretary in March last year, the message sincerely wished him greater success in his responsible work to lead the party and state. -0

   Recently a well known pro DPRK account  ' The Beginning Cold Noodlefan ' was shut down by Twitte( fortunately a new account has appeared ) as result of a McCarthyite witch-hunt initiated by  a certain scurrilous anti-DPRK website . This follows a number of Youtube channels being deleted earlier in the year and last year . Also insidious measures such as falsely labelled the UK KFA Facebook page as 'north Korean state-controlled media ' even though no one in UK KFA receives a salary from the DPRK or editorial direction from the DPRK.

  All these incidents show that the so -called 'freedom of speech ' . 'democracy ' and 'human rights ' constatnl mouthed by the imperialists and their lackeys is an illusion . There is no freedom to express support for People's Korea and the Juche Idea .

The imperialists do not want people to see the truth about People's Korea , they do not want people to see any kind of alternative narrative . They are out to suppress pro DPRK organisations .

It is time for Juche idea followers , Songun idea followers and true supporters of the DPRK to fight back and fight back hard.

On the 9th of September 1948 72 years ago , the Democratic People's Republic of Korea , a Juche-orientated socialist state , was born.  Now in its eight decade , the DPRK has proved to be a most durable socialist state.

  The foundation of the DPRK was the birth of a new state of Juche in the far east ! The DPRK was the first people's democracy in  Asia, a new kind of people's power. With the foundation of the DPRK the Korean people took power in their own hands.

    The DPRK inherited the proud traditions of the anti-Japanese revolutionary armed struggle led by the great leader President KIM IL SUNG.Indeed the anti-Japanese revolutionary armed struggle is the root of the DPRK.

                                                          

      The foundation of the DPRK was a powerful inspiration to the oppressed peoples of  of the world ,groaning under imperialist oppression, in their struggle for independence and national liberation. It was also a great inspiration to the international proletariat advancing towards socialism .

    The DPRK under the wise leadership of the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung fully completed the tasks of the anti-imperialist, anti- feudal democratic revolution in a short space of time and switched over to the socialist revolution proving the validity of the Juche-orientated theory on continuous revolution.The DPRK is not a replica of another country and pursues independent Juche-orientated policies. It is based firmly on the principles of independence, self-sufficiency and self-defence. As great generalissimo KIM JONG IL said "Our Republic is an independent socialist State that absolutely maintains its Juche character and thoroughly preserves its national identity in its development and activities.

  The Juche character and national identity are the independence and lifeline of a country, a nation and the masses of the people. The struggle of the masses for independence is waged with the country and nation as a unit, so the party, the government and the masses of each country should conduct the revolution and construction independently and creatively as masters."

   Indeed the DPRK is known by friend and foe as the most independent state in the world.

    Under the wise leadership of President KIM IL SUNG  the DPRK created a people-centred socialist system in which there is no exploitation and oppression .The improvement of the people's living standards is the supreme principle of state activity and this is underpinned by legalisation.The DPRK  introduced free medical and free education. It abolished taxation in 1974. The DPRK is a people's paradise.As the great eternal leader President KIM IL SUNG  said

"Our people are now enjoying fully independent and creative lives in the embrace of the Republic, as masters of the state and society.

In our country all the people exercise their full rights to independence through their active participation in the political life of the state. They are adding lustre to their worthwhile lives through their creative struggle to achieve the high aim set by the Party, helping and leading each other forward, closely united on the basis of revolutionary constancy and comradeship. All the material and cultural needs, such as food, clothing, and housing, are met by the state, which also provides them with secure jobs according to their abilities. They are leading equally happy lives, receiving the benefits of free education, free medical care and so on from the state and society."

Today People's Korea is one of the few countries in the world free from Covid 19  thanks to the wise policies of the DPRK government and Workers' Party of Korea headed by respected Marshal KIM JONG UN .  Today the DPRK is marching ahead holding high the banner of Juche , the banner of self-reliance bravely defying the sanctions of the imperialist hostile forces.
