 The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK),the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE), the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification of Korea (BSCPRKP)issued a statement in support of the
statement issued by the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Country of the DPRK (CPRC) on Sunday 3rd of December :
  The DPRK Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Country has issued a statement concerning the ongoing war drills on the Korean peninsula being staged by the US imperialists and south Korean fascist neo-colonial  puppets  which rightly points out "The projected war rehearsal is just a grave military provocation which will push the already acute situation on the Korean peninsula to the brink of nuclear war"'.
  These drills are being staged at a time of great tension when Trump is making numerous threats to the DPRK having failed to prevent the DPRK from developing ICBM and nuclear capablity. The drills stimulate the conditions of an actual war on the Korean peninsula . These could well be a prelude to an attack on People's Korea.
 We support the just , resolute , anti-imperialist stand of the DPRK to relatiate against the US imperialists and south Korean puppets if they are attacked  !
  The US imperialists should heed the warnings made by the DPRK CPRC and cancel the war drills at once and withdraw their forces from the south of Korea.

 The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK),the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE), the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification of Korea (BSCPRKP)issued a statement in support of the
statement issued by the DPRK Foreign Ministry on the 2nd of December concerning the joint aerial military exercises against People's Korea which start today :
  The DPRK Foreign Ministry rightly says that Trump is begging for a war by carrying out such dangerous and provocative exercises on the Korean peninsula , where ,it should be added, the US
does not need to be.
More than 230 fighters from the U.S. air force bases in Japan and south Korea including its latest stealth fighters F-22 Raptor and F-35, the U.S. major strategic assets as well as some 12 000 U.S. troops are to participate in the said drill.
 The US has only just concluded exercises involving 3 different aircraft carrier groups. The talk in the media is that there will be a war in Korea soon and even 'World War Three'.
 People should realise that the responsibility for the deterioration of the situation on the Korean
peninsula rests entirely with the US and Trump. Trump has made threats of ultimate destruction against the DPRK several times and the US has cranked up tensions by continually carrying out military exercises on the Korean peninsula. The US presence on the Korean peninsula is unwanted by the Korean people.
If a war does break it will be the fault of the US.
 We again call for these exercises to be cancelled !

U.S. and S. Korean Puppet Forces' Projected Aerial Drill Will Be Followed by Merciless Retaliation: CPRC Spokesman

Pyongyang, December 3 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Country of the DPRK (CPRC) released a statement on Sunday in connection with the fact that the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces are going to launch the largest-ever joint aerial drill to "totally destroy" the DPRK on Dec. 4.

The statement says:

The U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces are asserting that the planned drill will be "the largest-ever one for blowing up 700 odd primary objects of the north including nuclear facilities and missile bases" and that it will serve as "maximum pressure on the north" as it will be an "unheard-of strike action" involving formations of latest fighter jets called "the king of air battle."

What matters is the fact that the drill simulating an actual war is to be staged at a time when insane President Trump is running wild, terming the DPRK's ICBM test-fire "action never to be pardonable" and bluffing as if he would do "anything in response," stunned by the DPRK's realization of the great historic cause of completing the state nuclear force and the cause of building a rocket power.

The projected war rehearsal is just a grave military provocation which will push the already acute situation on the Korean peninsula to the brink of nuclear war.

The situation clearly proves that the U.S. and the south Korean puppet war maniacs are just aggressors and provocateurs breaking peace and stability on the Korean peninsula and in the region and that the DPRK was entirely just when it decided to invariably take the path of simultaneously developing the two fronts in order to bolster up its war deterrent in every way.

Taking this opportunity, the DPRK cannot but remind the aggressors once again of the statement made by the chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK on Sept. 21 that the DPRK would seriously consider the taking of a highest-level hard-line countermeasure in history to cope with the U.S. and its vassal forces' reckless moves against the state and people of the DPRK and would surely force them to pay dearly for their provocations.

The U.S. and south Korean puppet military warmongers should bear in mind that their escalating provocation and adding to crimes will only invite more terrible retaliation and precipitate their self-destruction. -0-

KCNA Commentary Snipes at Japan's Arms Buildup

Pyongyang, December 2 (KCNA) -- Japan is working hard to secure the capability for a "preemptive" attack on the DPRK.

Prime Minister Abe at a meeting of the Upper House on Nov. 22 said "it is necessary to positively consider the access to the capability for a preemptive attack on enemy bases" in order to protect the lives of the people and peace from "missile attack by north Korea."

Earlier, Defense Minister Onodera said Japan is considering the access to the capability for attacking overseas missile bases. The lawmakers who participated in a meeting sponsored by the supra-partisan lawmakers' league asserted "it is important to strike the base of north Korea just before missile launch", underlining the "need to discuss the Self-Defense Forces' access to the capability for mounting an attack on enemy bases."

Such moves of the Abe regime are very risky ones that only increase tensions in the region and pose a grave threat to peace in Asia and the world.

Japan has been crazy about the moves for emerging a military giant since its defeat. But it has never openly talked about "preemptive attack" and "overseas aggression" like now.

SDF's operation sphere had been confined to Japan's territorial air and sea. But such military strategy underwent a change long ago under the strategy of "the exclusive defense".

The Japanese reactionaries, regarding the "war on terrorism" launched by the U.S. in the 21st century as a golden chance for realizing its wild ambition for reinvasion, projected it as a flagship of its security policy to "counter the threat of terrorism" and shaped an offensive military strategy. According to the modified "Japan-U.S. Defense Cooperation Guidelines," SDF's operation sphere covers the whole world.

The Abe cult has gone beyond the red line in its militarist moves to realize the wild scheme for reinvading Korea and the old dream of the "Greater East Asia Co-prosperity Sphere." It is now trying to carry them out in practice.

Actually, the Japanese reactionaries are pushing ahead with the project for developing and acquiring equipment for increasing its attack capabilities, as evidenced by its development of Tomahawk cruise missiles capable of striking ground targets from escort ships.

The Japan Defense Ministry recently decided to push ahead with the plan for adding the capability for striking ground targets to its anti-ship cruise missiles whose development will start next year and to allot the budget of 7.7 billion yen to the manufacture of a trial product until 2022.

Against this backdrop, the Japanese reactionaries are busy spreading the story about "threat from north Korea" at home and abroad in a bid to create an atmosphere for supporting its access to the capability for preemptive attack.

It is their ill design to reform the SDF in an offensive formation and modify the Constitution by inciting hostility toward the DPRK and hyping "security crisis" throughout the Japanese society under the pretext of "missile threat" from the DPRK.

The Korean nation and the international community are closely watching the reckless military moves of Japan to seek its own interests by playing a flagship role in carrying out the U.S. strategy for dominating Asia.

Its crazy drive of militarist chariot with the backing of the U.S. will only plunge it into an abyss of ruin. -0-

FM Spokesman on Planned Joint Aerial Drill by U.S. and S. Korea

Pyongyang, December 2 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Saturday made public the following statement:

The U.S. is planning to carry out the largest-ever joint aerial drill with its south Korean stooges targeting the DPRK from December 4 to 8 and push the current touch-and-go situation of the Korean peninsula to a flare-up.

More than 230 fighters from the U.S. air force bases in Japan and south Korea including its latest stealth fighters F-22 Raptor and F-35, the U.S. major strategic assets as well as some 12 000 U.S. troops are to participate in the said drill.

The drill would be unprecedented in its size and nature of simulating actual combat situation as well as in the number of the U.S. major strategic assets including F-22 Raptor and F-35 stealth fighters to be involved.

The U.S. is publicly touting the objective of the drill as enhancing the actual combat capability to disable the DPRK's major strategic bases in the early stages of war.

It has just wound up the large-scale nuclear war drill against the DPRK that involved three nuclear powered aircraft carrier strike groups, and they are prompting the speculation that the U.S. nuclear attack on the DPRK is a possible scenario.

The Trump team is begging for nuclear war by staging an extremely dangerous nuclear gamble on the Korean peninsula.

The international community terms the moves of the U.S. very alarming and is keeping a close watch on them with great concern and anxiety as the U.S. is engrossed in making successive military provocations mobilizing greater amount of its nuclear strategic assets than ever, thereby driving the situation of the Korean peninsula to the brink of crisis.

The facts above evidently show who is the real nuclear war maniac and the "nuclear demon" that disrupts and destroys peace of the Korean peninsula and the world.

The moves of the U.S. to "demonize" the DPRK while condemning its legitimate and righteous measures to strengthen the self-defensive nuclear deterrence as a threat to global peace and security can be regarded as a prelude to nuclear war since these moves are geared to forge a pretext for nuclear attack on the DPRK.

As stipulated in the Decree of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK on further consolidating the status of a self-defensive nuclear weapons state, the mission of the state nuclear force of the DPRK is to deter and repel the U.S. invasion and attack against the country, and carry out crushing retaliatory strikes on the bases of aggression.

The latest developments clearly prove once again that peace and security of the Korean peninsula and the world can be maintained only when an effective balance of force is established between the DPRK and the U.S.

The international community should identify who is begging and heading for nuclear war and hold the U.S. totally accountable as the destroyer and disruptor of global peace.

Should the Korean peninsula and the world be embroiled in the crucible of nuclear war because of the reckless nuclear war mania of the U.S., the U.S. will have to accept full responsibility for it. -0-

Hwasong 15 another great advance achieved by Juche Korea under the wise leadership of dear respected ,iron-willed brilliant commander Marshal KIM JONG UN -special article by Dr Dermot Hudson

                                     

       
A truly thrilling event occurred in the early hours of the 29th of November 2017 when  the Democratic People's Republic of Korea tested the Hwasong -15 Intercontinental Ballistic Missile under the guidance of the dear respected leader Marshal KIM JONG UN , an ever-victorious iron-willed brilliant commander who is scoring victory after victory against the US imperialists .
   The Hwasong -15 lauunch is another  great victory for People's Korea over US imperialism ! The DPRK has defied the threats and sanctions of the US imperialists ! It contrasts with the cowardly Khruschev revisionists of the former USSR  who pulled the missiles out of Cuba after only 4 days some 55 years ago.
       At 02.48 hours in the morning of the 29th of November the Hwasong -15 ICBM, a new type of ICBM  blasted off in the darkness . The missile reached an altitude of  4 475 km and made a flight over the distance of 950 km for 53 minutes before making an accurate landing in the waters of the open sea in the East Sea of Korea.
                         

  Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN himself guiding the test of the ICBM in person .Although it was the early hours of the morning , the Marshal denied himself sleep and rest to come out to the cold and frosty testing ground of the missile . Old Trump would have been fast asleep at this time in the morning as would many of the venal imperialist politicians who hurl abuse and slander at People's Korea.However respected Marshal KIM JONG UN believes in leading from the front , he is not an armchair general but a man of action , a strong and dynamic leader who is always with the people and the soldiers.
                                                

The Hwasong 15 is more advanced than the Hwasong 14 ICBM that was tested in July. The Hwasong 15 is able to strike all of the US mainland , which means in simple terms that the US imperialists may be able to run but they can never hide from the powerful retaliatory nuclear strike of the heroic Korean People's Army commanded by the dear respected leader Marshal KIM JONG UN . Thus the nuclear monopoly of the US imperialists has been shattered as the DPRK has now completed the final stages of becoming an advanced nuclear and ICBM power . Now the DPRK and US are facing each other on a level playing field . Korea is not the old feudal Korea of the 1900s which was totally powerless in the face of Japanese empire nor is the Korea of the 1950s . The hired hacks and so-called exerts of US imperialism are saying openly that the DPRK has reached the goal of having an ICBM that can hit the United States mainland , much earlier than they expected , maybe one year earlier than predicted . Thus the calculations of the US imperialists have been torn to shreds . Trump and his cohorts are powerless
    It is said that the Hwasong 15 soared to a height 10 times that of the International Space Station. This is incredible . The scientific and technical advance of People's Korea is something truly phenomenal , absolutely breathtaking .Even the US imperialist's own experts are conceding that the DPRK has made big strides forward .The British newspaper the "Independent " quoting an American expert stated  "Several analysts noted that the missile looked like the American Titan II, which was initially an ICBM but was then later used by the US Air Force and Nasa as a space launch vehicle."
    The scientists and technicians of People's Korea produced a new type ICBM in the space of a mere 3 or 4 months  . It would take some countries years and even decades to do this. It becomes even more amazing when some facts are taken into consideration.Firstly some developed or advanced countries do not have their own ICBM . Britain scrapped its own medium range ballistic missile the Blue Streak in the late 60s . Imperialist countries such as Japan , Germany and Italy do not have their own ICBMs. Secondly, it is an advance that has not taken place under ideal conditions  but conditions of multiple sanctions imposed by the US imperialists and their marionette the UN Security Council and also the EU, Japan ,south Korea and other puppets and lackeys of US imperialism.The ICBM Hwasong-15 weapon system is a Juche based self-reliant one , which was developed with domestic efforts and technology 100 percent to suit the specific conditions of the country .The great advances made by DPRK scientists in the field of ICBM technology could also be applied to civilian space programme of the DPRK as well as other fields of science and technology . Truly the DPRK under the leadership of dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN is becoming an advanced sci-tech power and will soon overtake the imperialist countries in the field of science and technology. I witnessed this myself visiting the Sci-Tech Complex in Pyongyang several times.
   The Hwasong 15 ICBM test is another great advance that has been achieved by Juche Korea under the wise leadership of dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN . What does it show . Firstly , it shows the advance of the DPRK in nuclear and missile technology is unstoppable no matter what sanctions the US imperialists may impose. Secondly , it shows the correctness of the line of building the economy and nuclear force in parallel. Thirdly, it a demonstration of the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and the self-development first idea .  Fourthly, it is a manifestation of the validity and vitality of the Juche Idea and Songun Idea. Some  reactionaries and revisionists like to pour cold water on the Juche Idea but the success of the Hwasong 15 will make them eat their words. Finally, it shows that dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN will lead the Korean people to final victory over the US and to reunfication!
