Pyongyang, July 3 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet regime took a measure for independent "financial sanctions against the north" on June 26.
It is claiming that the measure is aimed at "deterring the north from earning foreign currency and introducing military hardware" and, furthermore, this constitutes a step for "putting stronger pressure for bringing about its changes".
This is ridiculous enough to make a cow laugh.
The DPRK has remained undeterred for the past several decades even in face of the harshest and most outrageous moves of the U.S. to isolate and stifle it.
Even the boss of the imperialists dared not provoke the DPRK. It is, therefore, the height of folly for the puppet forces to try to lead the DPRK to "changes" by showing off a paltry amount of money though they barely prolong their remaining days with the U.S. backing.
They must know with nothing they can "lead the north to changes" as they stand politically and militarily weak as compared with the north.
Yet, they are more desperately resorting to unrealizable scenario.
Why?
What is most urgent for the puppet forces is to tide over the daily deepening ruling crisis.
This crisis is caused by the MERS case sweeping across south Korea, the puppet regime's unpopular rule, its moves to revive the "yusin" dictatorship¸ confrontation and conflict festering between the ruling and opposition political forces and the mounting resentment of the people.
Much upset by this, it is employing a trite method. It is running the whole gamut of intrigues to divert elsewhere the angry public mindset by pushing the inter-Korean relations to the worst phase and increasing the danger of war in a bid to weather its ruling crisis and get rid of the pretty fix.
The independent "financial sanctions against the north" are part of those artifices.
The puppet forces are, however, miscalculating.
The "financial sanctions" are a manifestation of the most offensive confrontation policy in the absence of direct armed attack, as recognized even by south Korean media.
The service personnel and people of the DPRK are highly alerted to deal deadly retaliatory blows at the puppet regime driving the inter-Korean relations into a collapse and gravely threatening peace and stability on the Korean peninsula after raising a hue and cry over "sanctions" and "pressure" in league with the U.S. imperialists.
The puppet forces should bear in mind that such foolish row as "financial sanctions" would make it more difficult for them to prolong their remaining days, much less staying in power.
The reckless moves to escalate the confrontation would only precipitate their self-destruction. -0-

On the 8th of July it will be 21 years since the great leader President KIM IL SUNG passed away it seems like only yesterday when our delegation was staying in the DPRK in June 1994 during which time we saw the great leader President KIM IL SUNG on tv almost every day . We returned to the UK on the 3rd of July and to our shock the great leader President KIM IL SUNG passed away on the 8th of July 1994.
President KIM IL SUNG was a great man, a great leader , a great philosopher who created the Juche Idea and authored the Songun idea. . He was the father of modern Korea , indeed Korea is the Kim Il Sung nation He was respected as one of the outstanding leaders of the international communist and working class movement.
In this year which in just over a month sees the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Korea from the dark oppression of Japanese imperialist colonial rule we recall President KIM IL SUNG great exploits in liberating Korea from the dark oppression of Japanese colonialism . It was one of his greatest feats to defeat Japanese imperialism and secure the independence of the Korean people.
The Japanese colonial oppressors had literally sucked the life out of the Korean people. Due to flunkeyism(fawning on big powers) and incompetence by the old feudal rulers of the Ri Dynasty the Japanese imperialists stole into Korea the land of the morning calm. By 1910 they had annexed Korea and turned into a colony . The Korean people fell victim to the sabre and the bayonet of the cruel Japanese colonialists. They plundered huge amounts of resources.
The Korean people desired independence and to be free from oppression by Japanese imperialism . However no force or leader existed that could deliver them from the iron rule of Japan. Petitions and appeals were useless , strikes and demos were suppressed by force and the streets run with the blood of Korean workers and peasants . Bourgeois nationalists proved to be useless in leading the nation, they split into factions and squabbled. They adopted national reformism which meant collaboration with Japanese imperialism. Some seeing the example of the USSR the first workers and peasants state in the world started a communist movement but this quickly collapsed into flunkeyism and factionalism and was therefore unable to lead the struggle against Japanese imperialist rule.
One leader appeared to dispel the fog of confusion and the darkness of Japanese imperialism , the leader was the young general KIM IL SUNG who rejected the old methods of flunkeyism and factionalism and led the struggle from the grassroots to victory . The great leader President KIM IL SUNG organised a revolutionary movement. The young general KIM IL SUNG realised several basic truths early on ;firstly , that no other country was going to hand the Korean people independence on a plate , it had to be achieved by their own efforts alone , secondly, that it to achieve independence they had to mobilise the masses and rely on them not a few factions or high level leaders who shut themselves away behind closed doors , thirdly , independence could not come through peaceful means but through armed struggle.
President KIM IL SUNG at the age of 14 founded the Down With Imperialism Union the first communist revolutionary organisation in Korea composed of revolutionary school students . Later on he formed the Anti-Imperialist Youth League and Young Communist League. In the early summer of 1930 the great leader President KIM IL SUNG addressed the historic Kalun meeting of revolutionary cadres and activists and outlined the Juche-orientated path of the the Korean revolution and the road of Songun . It was a naive illusion to expect peaceful change so President KIM IL SUNG pointed out "“Weapons are our life and soul! Oppose armed force with armed force!".
President KIM IL SUNG started the armed struggle against Japanese colonial rule with two pistols handed down to him from his father . He formed first the Korean Revolutionary Army in 1930 and then the Anti-Japanese People's Guerilla Army on the 25th of April which became the Korean People's Revolutionary Army in March 1935. The KPRA fought self-reliantly in the spirit of Juche . They seized weapons from the Japanese aggressors or manufactured their own . Some hoped that the Soviet Union, the first socialist state, would supply them with a hand-grenade factory but this never materialised so they made their own hand-grenades the 'Yongil bomb'(of course today the DPRK has its own nuclear 'Yongil bomb'.)
Under the command of the great leader President KIM IL SUNG, an ever victorious iron-willed brilliant commander, the stout hearted and heroic partisans of the KPRA fought many battles against the Jap agressors such the battle of Ponchonbo and the battle of Musan to name just a few . At times the guerillas had to march through metre deep snow in temperatures of-40c. They used different tactics sometimes switching to small unit activities .
The hard and arduous revolutionary armed struggle led by the er President KIM IL SUNG paid off in the end on the 9th of August 1945 general KIM IL SUNG gave the order for the final offensive against the Japanese marauders . The KPRA together with Soviet army units surged into Korea , the KPRA often taking the lead in the more difficult battles. On August 15 1945 Korea was liberated at last from Japanese imperialist rule. 36 years of oppressive rule by the fascist Japanese and their decadent Samurai culture came to an end in a day . This was the feat of the great leader President KIM IL SUNG an ever victorious iron-willed brilliant commander and gifted military strategist.
On the 8th of July this year we remember the great leader President
KIM IL SUNG as the great liberator of the Korean people who gave them the greatest ever gift: independence !

S. Korean Puppet Regime Accused of Escalating Confrontation and Inciting War Hysteria
Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- Recently, the south Korean puppet group has staged a series of unprecedentedly hideous farces to provoke the DPRK, escalating confrontation and inciting war hysteria against it 13 years since the skirmish in the West Sea of Korea.
A spokesman for the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea (CPRK) released a statement denouncing it Thursday.
The puppet group is busy staging the farce of screening the anti-DPRK conspiratorial film "Yonphyong Sea Battle" and letting soldiers of the puppet army give their "impressions" of the film, the statement said, adding:
In the meantime, Han Min Gu, puppet minister of Defense, in his address made at an "event observing the 13th anniversary of the second Yonphyong sea battle" on June 29 let loose ridiculous sophism that the "battle" was a "victorious one that beat back the provocation of the north and made a glorious history," describing the puppet army's ignominious defeat as a "triumph."
Against this backdrop, the puppet military staged naval maneuvers and joint landing drills of the puppet navy and marine corps with six warships named after those who met death in the west sea skirmish involved, fanning up a fever of war against the north.
Such provocations are no more than last-ditch efforts of the puppet group to mitigate the uneasiness of puppet soldiers still seized with the fear of the DPRK's strong military muscle and the nightmare of their defeat in the west sea battle. Those moves are also aimed to tide over its worst ruling crisis by diverting to the confrontation with the DPRK the mindset of south Koreans whose discontent has reached the point of explosion due to its fascist rule and deteriorated people's living.
The puppet military gangsters should bear in mind that it is no more than a suicidal act of jumping into fire with faggot on their backs to run amuck to ignite a war against the DPRK as a shock brigade of the U.S.

CPRK Secretariat Slams S. Korean Chief Executive's Politically-motivated Terrorism
Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- The Secretariat of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea (CPRK) in its information bulletin No. 1098 Thursday denounced the south Korean chief executive for having vetoed the "draft amendment to the National Assembly (NA) law" that passed through the NA under agreement by the ruling and opposition parties.
This was a fascist action and hideous politically-motivated terrorism little short of the May 16 military coup that traitor Park Chung-Hee staged by hurling huge troops into dissolving the NA in broad daylight in a bid to seize power, and his fabrication of "yusin constitution" in the past, the information bulletin noted, and went on:
As far as the "draft amendment" is concerned, it had been high on the agenda since 1997 and was officially passed through the NA on May 29 last to hold in check the arbitrary practices of the dictatorial regime and ruler, an inveterate vice in south Korea, reflecting the unanimous demand of the public.
This not withstanding, Park Geun Hye exercised veto on it under such unreasonable pretexts that it "infringes upon the mandate of the administration" and goes against "the separation of three powers -- the legislature, the executive and the judicature." Moreover, she is forcing the floor leader from the ruling party to step down as he has steered the discussion with the opposition parties over the issue of the "draft amendment" and pushed ahead with the work for passing it through the NA.
The reality goes to clearly prove that Park and her group are hideous stranglers of democracy.
It is as plain as a pikestaff that if the present puppet conservative group is allowed to stay in power, the south Korean society will turn into an unprecedentedly dark fascist society and graveyard of democracy under the reign of iron-fisted rule, terror and tyranny-ridden politics and south Koreans will be subject to bitterer misfortune. -0-

65 YEARS ON JUST WHO DID START THE KOREAN WAR ?
Last Thursday 25th of June it was 65 years since the Korean war or Fatherland Liberation War as it is known. Who really did start it ? for generations people in the UK and other
Western countries have been brainwashed into thinking that the DPRK fired the "first shot " or "invaded the south " , though of course you cannot actually invade your own country (south Korea simply being half of a divided country ). Of course some go to far as to argue that it does not matter how started the Korean war , however a war that claimed millions of lives and involved huge armed forces does need to be accounted for and the blame apportioned .
First, lets look at the motives of the two sides . The DPRK was established only two years before the war , its goal was economic construction and improving people's living standards. The last thing it needed was a destructive and costly war. No group or section of society in the DPRK would profit from a war. The US on the other wanted to stop what it saw as "communist expansion " in Asia and decided on the doctrine of "rollback ", "a crusade to wipe communism off the face of the globe". The US arms manufacturers stood to make huge profits out of a potential war . Moreover there were fears at the end of the 1940s that the US economy was entering another slump, War is a way out of economic crisis as it creates high demand in the economy and the unemployed put in the army.
Secondly, Western historians purposefully ignore the fact that John Foster Dulles the US presidential envoy visited south Korea on the 18th of June a week before the war began and visited front line areas. Dulles visit and the outbreak of war a week later cannot be a coincidence. Of course Dulles went back to the United States and his luxury mansion but millions of Koreans died while he lived !
