Heightened Vigilance against West's "Aid Diplomacy" Called for

Heightened Vigilance against West's "Aid Diplomacy" Called for

Pyongyang, November 11 (KCNA) -- It is necessary to heighten vigilance against the West's "aid diplomacy", observes Rodong Sinmun Thursday in a signed article.
Noting that the imperialists' "assistance" is just like a lever for exploitation as it is designed to loot ten, nay, a hundred for offering one and a trap for economic subjugation, the article stresses that herein lie the hypocrisy and reactionary nature of the imperialists' "aid diplomacy".
It goes on:
The imperialists are now becoming craftier in their methods to tighten the economic subjugation and intensify plunder of other countries with their "assistance" as bait. At present Western countries are selecting the countries to be aided by them strictly on the principle of ensuring effectiveness of investment.
The above-said diplomacy is being used as a lever for interfering in the internal affairs of developing countries, bringing into bolder relief its brigandish and reactionary nature and danger. When giving "aid" to other countries the U.S. puts main emphasis on "military assistance."
There are many examples showing that the U.S. used the "aid diplomacy" for putting its political plots into practice. A typical example of this was that the U.S. halted its "aid" to Nicaragua for the mere reason that there was not democracy in the election held there last year.
This is also clearly evidenced by the abnormal situations in the countries which blindly accepted the hypocritical "aid" from the imperialists without any vigilance.
The developing countries are required to properly see through the hypocrisy and danger of the imperialists' "aid diplomacy" and heighten the vigilance against it. They will neither achieve economic independence nor get rid of the fate as "a beggar" and will be destined to fall victim to the imperialists' domination and subjugation in the end, should these countries persistently depend on the imperialists, pinning hope on their interest-seeking "aid" without believing in their own strength.
It is the way for the developing countries to achieve socio-economic progress and prosperity to boost the South-South cooperation on the principle of collective self-reliance and settle the problems facing them by weathering difficulties before them by themselves without depending upon outside forces. This is the lesson and truth taught by history and reality. -0-

An obituary of Jo Myong Rok was jointly issued by the C.C., the WPK, the Central Military Commission of the WPK, the DPRK National Defence Commission and the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly on Saturday.

The obituary said that his death is a great loss to the party, the army and people of the DPRK waging a dynamic struggle to win the victory of the cause of building a thriving socialist nation and bring earlier the independent reunification of the country. Though he passed away, the exploits he performed for the party and the revolution, the country and its people will shine long along with the victorious advance of the revolutionary cause of Juche, it stressed.

On the same day, the C.C., the WPK, the Central Military Commission of the WPK, the DPRK National Defence Commission and the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly announced that the late Jo Myong Rok would be accorded a state funeral and formed a state funeral committee with Kim Jong Il as its chairman and Kim Jong Un and 169 others as its members.

ASSPUK and JISGE on DPRK NDC inspection group statement

ASSOCIATION FOR THE STUDY OF SONGUN POLITICS UK

London 5th November 2010 Juche 99
The ASSPUK and JISGE strongly support the report of the inspection group of the DPRK
National Defence Commission realease on the 2nd of November. The report conclusively refutes the allegation that the DPRK had anything to do with the sinking of the south Korean warship in an objective, accurate and scienfitic manner.

The statement exposes the absurd and farcial nature of the allegations of the south Korean
puppets. It proves beyond all doubt that the DPRK was in no way responsible for the unfortuneate tragedy of the "Cheonan".

The DPRK does not use aluminum in construction of torpedoes,no traces of gunpowder was found on the part of the torpedo dredged up by the south Korean puppets, workers in the DPRK munitions industry do not use felt tip pens to write on munitions and moreover this would have been obliterated. The statement also proves that it was not possible for a DPRK submarine to infiltrate into the area concerned.

All in all it is a complete pack of stupid, idiotic and childish lies which have been cooked up by the south Korean puppets and their US imperialist overloads. The "Cheonan case" has no crediblity whatsoever but the paid media of imperialism shamelessly repeat these lies.ASSPUK and JISGE condemn the media in the US,UK,Japan and elsewhere for spreading lies to tarnish the dignified reputation of Juche Korea and to stifle its socialist system.

For the sake of truth and reason the south Korean puppets must accept the offer of the DPRK NDC inspection to hand over a sample of metal. Moreover the south Korean puppets must accept, though belatedly, the offer of the DPRK NDC to send an inspection group to south Korea. The US imperialists and south Korean puppets and the paid liars of the Western media must drop their anti DPRK campaign at once.

ASSPUK
JISGE.

statement proves beyond all reasonable doubt the so called "evidence" offered by the
south Korean puppet regime and its US masters is false and has no scienific or factual basis whatsoever.
The statement refutes in detail the idiotic assertions of the south Korean puppets. The statement proves that the torpedo's fragments are not from a DPRK torpedo and the
writing on the torpedo is not "DPRK style" writing. Moreover DPRK technicans do not use felt pens to write on torpedoes.
The DPRK has repeatedly asked for south Korea to accept an inspection group to view the evidence with a view to resolving the issue fairly and peacefully.
Now the DPRK NDC inspection is prepared offer present a sample of the metal used to make torpedoes in the DPRK for comparsion with the remains of a

KCNA Refutes Groundless Accusations against DPRK over Its "Human Right

KCNA Refutes Groundless Accusations against DPRK over Its "Human Rights Issue"

Pyongyang, November 2 (KCNA) -- Hostile forces including the United States and Japan made malignant accusations against the DPRK over its "human rights issue" at the meeting of the Third Committee of the 65th session of the UN General Assembly.
Those forces hostile to the DPRK made no scruple of pressurizing the DPRK to recognize the "special rapporteur" in charge of human rights situation in the country and cooperate in his trip to Pyongyang etc., ballyhooing in chorus about what they called its "institutional human rights abuses."
This is touching off hatred among the Korean people as it was nothing but sinister intentions of the hostile forces to create an atmosphere of putting pressure on the DPRK under the signboard of "protection of human rights" by abusing such institutional lever as the UN General Assembly.
As already known, the DPRK had already clarified its stand toward the issue of keeping "the special rapporteur" and has never recognized his existence as his job is to infringe upon its sovereignty and dignity.
We would like to remind that the international community newly created the UN Human Rights Council in 2006 after disorganizing the UN Human Rights Commission to put an end to the U.S. ceaseless arbitrary practices on the international arena of human rights.
But since the U.S. made its way to the UN Human Rights Council it has persistently protected and defended the human rights abuses of such countries as Israel and violated the sovereignty of the anti-U.S. independent states including the DPRK.
Keeping the "special rapporteur", in particular, the U.S. made him play the role of a servant for it in a bid to use him for politicizing human rights issues and applying selectivity and double standards to dealing with them.
Therefore, the DPRK does not recognize the ghost-like "special rapporteur", a leftover of the defunct UN Human Rights Commission.
It is unreasonable in every respect for the Western hostile forces led by the U.S. to pressurize the DPRK to recognize the above-said post as it is part of their sinister moves against the DPRK.
It is an unpardonable infringement upon the DPRK, an independent sovereign state, to wantonly interfere in its internal affairs under the pretext of "human rights issue".
Denying people's right to choose their system is the most vivid expression of human rights abuses.
The despicable plot to bring down the socio-political system in the DPRK under the pretext of human rights issue is a typical example of politicizing the human right issue and applying selectivity and double standards.
As far as human rights issues are concerned, only those countries incurring the displeasure of the U.S. are made targets of accusation quite contrary to the principles of impartiality and objectivity.
When dealing with human rights issues, accusing fingers should be directed, first of all, to the U.S., the world's worst human rights abuser, which has not hesitated to commit even terrorism against sovereign states and Japan which has refused to make apology and reparation for its past hideous human rights abuses.
Great irony is that these countries accustomed to pulling up others, keeping mum about their own human rights abuses, are busy blaming someone for its alleged human rights issue.
The people are fully guaranteed a worthwhile life and independent rights in the Korean-style socialist society centered on the popular masses.
No one is allowed to force criticism and accusation against the social system in the DPRK chosen by its people themselves and upheld by them.
Foreign hostile forces' noisier "human rights" racket would only reinforce the Korean people's faith and will to defend socialism.
Those who have already lost their moral and legal rights to talk about human rights had better mind their own business before accusing others. -0-
