The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI) , UK Korean Friendship Association (UK KFA ) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula(BSCPRKP)issued the following joint statement in support of the statement of  the United Front department  of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK):
On Friday 5th of June  the United Front department of the WPK   issued a statement following the earlier statement of comrade Kim Yo Jong 1st department director of the WPK  concerning the hostile and provocative actions in frontline areas  being staged by so -called  'defectors ' who were rightly characterised as 'human scum ' . The statement of the WPK United Front department ( which is concerned with south Korean affairs ) notes that  the response of south Korea to to the initial statement made by  comrade Kim Yo Jong .
The south Korean authorities have attempted to dodge their responsibilities and to make all kinds of excuses . Surely the south Korean authorities were bound by the agreements, they entered into with the DPRK ,to halt any hostile actions against the DPRK . It is 2 years since the inter-Korean agreements were signed between the DPRK and south Korea , yet south Korea is only now talking about legalisation to enforce the agreements . What a poor excuse !
It is fully justified that  the DPRK plans to close the inter-Korean liaison office, which is virtually defunct anyway , and to take other measures .
We full support the proposed measures outlined by the WPK United Front department .
