KCNA Commentary Warns S. Korean Authorities against Provocative Moves

Pyongyang, May 22 (KCNA) -- Days ago, human scum of the "Alliance for the Movement of Free North" in south Korea, a vicious organization of defectors from the north, scattered leaflets slandering the DPRK.

This is a deliberate provocation of the group of traitors drawing ire from all people as it is aimed at putting the brake on the process for the improvement of the inter-Korean relations.

Such provocation can never hurt the high prestige of the DPRK.

The human scum are making desperate efforts to hinder the improvement of the north-south relations as they will be wretched beings if the north-south relations improve.

That's why south Korean people from all walks of life have bitterly denounced the leaflet scattering as behavior challenging the Panmunjom Declaration.

What matters is that the south Korean authorities behave vaguely, talking about "serious concern".

As already known, in the Panmunjom Declaration the north and the south agreed to stop all the hostile acts including the loud-speaker broadcasting and scattering of leaflets in the areas along the Military Demarcation Line from May 1.

However, the south Korean authorities "requested" at the most the "non-governmental organizations to positively cooperate with the work to stop leaflet scattering against the north".

Why do they make such "request" to the living corpses, who have no right to exist under this sky for their crimes, over such important matter as implementing the Panmunjom Declaration which was made before the entire nation?

It is too natural that the different circles of south Korea have blamed the authorities, who failed to take the first step for implementing the declaration in a responsible way, for their incompetence.

If the north-south relations face a grave difficulty again owing to the provocation of human scum, the blame for it will be entirely on the south Korean authorities.

They must know what price they will be made to pay.

They should come out for honest implementation of the Panmunjom Declaration, though belatedly, if they do not want to pay dearly.

We will watch their follow-up measure and movement. Regret will not mend matters. -0-
