The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK),the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE),the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the UK Preparatory Committee For the 2017 Gathering to Praise the Great Persons Born of Mt Paektu issued a joint statement denouncing the  proposed Royal Air Force-Japan joint exercises ;
    Our organisations were extremely shocked to learn through the Korean Central News Agency that the British Royal Air Force plans to hold so-called joint exercises with Japan Air"Self-Defense Force"from the middle of October . We ask whether the British government has taken leave of its senses to even contemplate such a thing .
   No one should be helping Japan emerge as a military giant .No one should help Japan its in insidious and evil moves of Japan to re-invade Korea an indeed the entire Asian continent.
    As the KCNA article points out "Japan is a war criminal which imposed immeasurable misfortune and pain upon the Asian people including Koreans through ceaseless wars of aggression in the last century.
    Japan is the only shameless country in the world which has persistently denied its state obligation to make an apology and reparation to those countries which suffered from its aggression, refusing to admit its crimes in the past.
    Nevertheless, Japan is putting spurs to the moves to turn itself into a military giant though it is the defeated nation which is banned from having any right to belligerency or right to participate in a war and a regular army by its Constitution.
    Japan expanded to worldwide the scope of actions of its "Self-Defense Forces" (SDF) which had been limited to its vicinity through the revision of the "Japan-U.S. Defense Cooperation Guidelines" and adoption of "security legislation". It is now allowed to exercise the "right to collective self-defense" under the pretext of military support to allies."
   For the RAF to participate in such exercises with Japan it is tantamount to the British state condoning and conniving at Japan's fascistisation and expansionism . This is a sad day and completely wrong.
    Many British soldiers died fighting Japanese fascism in the Second World.A number of British troops and civilians were captured and tortured by the
Japanese imperialists.A number of British prisoners perished on the so-called
"Burma railway " .Now Britain is joining hands with the war criminal state
Japan !
  British taxpayers money is being wasted on this foolhardy and ill-conceived joint exercise with the Japanese militarists.
  Our organisations totally condemn the plan of the RAF to conduct joint exercises with Japan and call for the RAF's participation to be scrapped !
