U.S. Policy of Aggression against DPRK Bound to Go Bust: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, March 3 (KCNA) -- It is a daydream for the U.S. bellicose forces to try to bring about a change and a victory on the Korean Peninsula and in the rest of the Asia-Pacific region by use of "rapid deployment forces".
Rodong Sinmun Saturday says this in a bylined article.
Recalling that the U.S. is mulling creating new "rapid deployment forces" in the Asia-Pacific region centering around the 8th U.S. army present in south Korea, the article notes this is in pursuance of a new defense strategy.
It is the general scenario of the U.S. to ward off the influence of big powers, expand its sphere of influence and contain the anti-imperialist independent forces and the socialist forces in the Asia-Pacific by force and establish its domination over this region, the article says, and goes on:
The Korean Peninsula is the major target of the operations of the "rapid deployment forces."
The U.S. imperialists are keen to use the Korean Peninsula as a test ground for their operations, regarding it as a key link in the chain efforts for carrying out their Asia-Pacific strategy.
The ultimate objective of the U.S. is to build a unipolar world and dominate it.
To this end the U.S. pursues an aim to eliminate socialism from Asia.
The banner of socialism is still fluttering with vigor in the DPRK. The people the world over are inspired to watch it.
That is why the U.S. is working hard to bring the DPRK to its knees by means of war and bring down that banner.
The U.S. warmongers are staging the north-targeted saber-rattling as an advance process to carry out the scenario. As the DPRK had already declared, it would never pardon the provocateurs, should they intrude into the inviolable territory of the DPRK even an inch. This is not an empty talk.
The U.S. would be well warned to roll back the plan to create the above-said forces and withdraw all its aggression forces from south Korea and the rest of the Asia-Pacific region. -0-
