The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK),the British Group the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI),the Korean Friendship Association of the UK(KFA UK ) and the British Solidarity Committee For Peace and Reunification on the Korean (BSCPRKP) issued a joint statement applauding the letter titled March Towards the Future of a Powerful Country under the Unfurled Flag of the Korean Children's Union sent by dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN , general secretary of the Workers Party of Korea to the 9th Congress of the Korean Childrens on the 28th of December 2022;
As respected Marshal KIM JONG UN points out in his letter sent to the 9th Congress of the Korean Childrens Union (KCU) , the KCU is an organisation unique in the world saying that "There have been many children's organizations in the world, which wrote their dignified histories under revolutionary slogans, but the KCU is the only one that vigorously adds lustre to its glorious history and traditions still today, carrying forward its red bloodline." In the past some countries had youth organisations such as the Young Pioneers and the Komsomol but these no longer exist .The KCU has a very important role to play .Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN stresses the importance of the KCU ;" What is most important for a revolutionary party is to build a dignified and powerful country where its coming generations will lead an honourable life for 50, nay 500 years, with having no reason to grovel to others." He urges the KCU members to redouble their efforts for building a powerful socialist country.
Marshal KIM JONG UN puts forward tasks for the KCU should carry out whilst upholding the slogan "Let's always be ready for the socialist motherland!" . In particular Marshal KIM JONG UN says that the KCU members "must not forget even a moment is that the U.S. imperialists and their stooges are now looking for a chance to trample upon their dear homes and deprive them of their hopes". This is an excellent teaching that means that KCU should not forget that the US imperialists are the sworn enemy of the Korean people who want to destroy the lives and hopes of Korean children . KCU members are urged to be ready to fight bravely to defend the country if the US imperialists invade .
KCU members are urged to be good in their schoolwork as well as participating fully in the life of the organisation .
In the letter Marshal KIM JONG UN also calls for the Socialist Patriotic Youth League and the relevant departments of the Central Committee of the Workers Party of Korea to intensify their guidance over the KCU .
All in all the letter 'March Towards the Future of a Powerful Country under the Unfurled Flag of the Korean Children's Union" gives valuable teachings which will inspire the members of the KCU to play their role as successors to the revolution !.
