Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un Inspects Wonsan-Kalma Coastal Tourist Area under Construction

Pyongyang, April 6 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, gave field guidance to the construction site of the Wonsan-Kalma coastal tourist area.

Supreme Leader of the Party, state and army Kim Jong Un inspected several places of the construction site to acquaint himself in detail with the construction results and situation.

He highly praised the builders for nearly finishing framework construction of all the buildings and plastering of their interiors and exteriors, constructing additional buildings at the high speed and pushing forward afforestation and greening in three dimensions by pressing ahead with the project while creating construction anecdotes without an equal in the world even in winter, thus changing the appearance of the construction site beyond recognition.

He said that the shortcomings that the artistic reciprocity, compatibility and connectivity among the buildings are not flexible, and high and low buildings are not combined in a harmonious way, which he pointed out while inspecting the area at the end of last year, were made up. He expressed great satisfaction, saying that the whole of the street formation looks elegant artistically and fairly good and that the area is very spectacular.

He said that large-scale construction work like the tourist area should never be carried out in a slipshod manner, stressing the speed only. He stressed that as the Party directs with mind enormous funds and labor to the construction of the tourist area for the people, it is necessary to ensure the quality of every building at the highest level so that it should be perfect 50 or 100 years later, too.

He gave precious instructions to spruce up the area including the issue of designing all the buildings on the principle of optimization to make them useful and convenient, the issue of economizing the building materials and constructing the buildings suited to the modern aesthetic sense, the issue of building promenade, tramlines and bicycle roads well suited to users' convenience, the issue of producing many storage battery cars, the issue of making floating piers for the panel lodgings built on stilts over the water to make people use boats, the issue of setting up outdoor clocks on buildings and other places for people bathing in the sea, the issue of decorating buildings with lamplights and putting up signboards in a highly civilized and peculiar way.

He pointed out that the relevant field should correctly set operation units to begin service just after the completion of the buildings, and structural measures for perfect service preparation should be made.

The builders should not push forward the construction of the Wonsan-Kalma coastal tourist area in a hurried way to finish till the Party founding anniversary this year after the sea-bathing season, but postpone the construction period until the Day of the Sun next year to perfectly finish it so that our people would fully enjoy themselves in the impeccable tourist area from the sea-bathing season next year, he said, calling upon all to create new feats in the worthwhile struggle to build a people's cultural resting place, coastal park of the people envied by the world, in high spirits.

KCNA Commentary on Scandals of LKP Coteries

Pyongyang, April 5 (KCNA) -- Scandals of the "Liberal Korea Party" (LKP) coteries of south Korea have been recently brought to light one after the other, enraging south Koreans from all walks of life.
No sooner had Hwang Kyo An, LKP representative, been appointed as the minister of Justice by traitor Park Geun Hye in her "government's" term of office than he put on the shelf a video of sex offense of Kim Hak Ui, a close friend of his, in a bid to help him keep a vice-minister of Justice without any difficulty.
It was also revealed that Hwang Kyo An and Kim Song Thae, former floor leader of LKP, abused power and acquaintanceship to have their children get good jobs and that Kim Pyong Jun, former chairman of the Emergency Measure Committee, received unjust golf hospitality during his tenure as university professor. And scandals of other conservatives have been revealed en masse.
The reality shows that the LKP coteries' crying out for "renovation" and "innovation" is nothing but a "deceptive farce" and that the true colors of the group of the conservatives as a corrupt political party and a group of criminals remain unchangeable.
The group of traitors including LKP coteries cannot live without irregularities, corruption and immorality.
The traces of the conservatives have been found in the worst scandals which shocked the south Korean society for decades.
Traitors Syngman Rhee, Park Chung-Hee, Chun Doo Hwan, Roh Tae Woo and Kim Young Sam accumulated fabulous personal fortunes and led a dissipated life with the help of power. And they were entirely responsible for making south Korea a kingdom of irregularities and corruption.
In particular, the fabrication of the stock price of BBK, the case of the illegal funds for the "presidential" election, the case of Naegok-dong house building site purchase committed by traitor Lee Myung Bak and the unprecedented influence peddling in the "state affairs" by Park Geun Hye are still angering the public.
The recently revealed scandals are a striking revelation and extension line of the unpopular stance and the extreme individualism and irregularities and corruption of the conservatives who openly made reckless remarks that the public should be treated as dogs and pigs.
LKP coteries are running amuck to cover up the cases and prolong their poor political remaining days while describing the condemnation by the raging people from all walks of life as "backbite" and "political operation", far from feeling guilty conscience, but in vain.
Seeing the remnants of corruption in the wake of the candlelight demonstrations against Park Geun Hye and other deep-seated evils, the south Korean people keenly feel that justice and conscience and genuine human ethnics and morality would not settle down in the south Korean society unless the group of the conservatives are eliminated.
The LKP, a group of despicable criminals and rubbish, is bound to go to the grave of history by the struggle of south Koreans from all walks of life. -0-

  On the 13th of April it will be the 27th anniversary of the award of the title of Generalissimo to the great leader President KIM IL SUNG which was a manifestation  of the deep respect of the Korean people.
  The award of the title of Generalissimo to the great leader President KIM IL SUNG  was a reflection of the immortal exploits he performed for  the historic cause of Korea's liberation, and also leading the Fatherland Liberation War to victory and developing People's  Korea   They are paying high respect to the President who brought the rebirth to the Korean nation and provided its freedom and independence  President KIM IL SUNG  smashed all moves of the U.S. imperialists to ignite a war against the DPRK and defended peace on the Korean peninsula during socialist construction.
  The title also reflects the fact that the great leader President KIM IL SUNG is the father of the Songun revolution.

April Meeting of the Juche Idea Study Group of England to mark 107th anniversary of the birth of the great leader comrade KIM IL SUNG

                                      

The  Juche Idea Study Group of England  supported by the UK KFA and Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK is holding a meeting to celebrate the 107th anniversary of the birth of President KIM IL SUNG  and the 87th anniversary of the foundation of the Korean People's Army as the Korean People's Revolutionary Army . 

The meeting will also discuss  increasing solidarity with People's Korea in the face of sanctions and threats.

There will be presentations on

• life and revolutionary activities of President Kim Il Sung
• 87th anniversary of foundation of Korean People's Army-Korean People's Revolutionary Army
• solidarity with People's Korea including the forthcoming UK KFA DPRK Revolutionary Poster exhibition

  The great leader comrade KIM IL SUNG was deeply concerned about the continuing division and was determined to bring about reunification .He made achieving Korean reunification the top priority and exerted all efforts towards it .
        26 years ago on the 6th  of April  the great leader President KIM IL SUNG published the historic work "10-Point Programme of the Great Unity of the Whole Nation for the Reunification of the Country". This is a powerful manifesto for ending once and for Korea's division and bringing
about an independent , reunified Korean state .
  In the work the great leader comrade KIM IL SUNG strongly stresses that Korea's reunification must be based on independence and that national independence must be upheld. This is an application of the Juche idea to the question of reunification.
  As well as being a powerful manifesto for Korea's reunification  it at the same time a more realistic programme for reunification which can and should be accepted by all those desire the reunification of the Korean nation.
  Dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN by holding 3 inter-Korean summits in rapid succession has put the programme into action and taken the first steps along the road of reunification.

KCNA Commentary on LKP Reckless Act

Pyongyang, April 4 (KCNA) -- Of late the true colors of the "Liberal Korea Party" (LKP) of south Korea, the party of traitors, have been more clearly revealed in disciplinary punishment on those who spoke ill of the Kwangju Popular Uprising.
As already known, in February three "lawmakers" from LKP claimed that the uprising was a riot raised by the north's special forces and that "May 18 persons of merit" were "a group of monsters" and described Chun Doo Hwan who suppressed the uprising as "hero", enraging the south Korean people.
The LKP coteries claimed that their remarks did not represent the official stand of the party and that there could exist differing interpretations of the historical fact so as to talk themselves out of difficulty. But they, upset by the bitter condemnation by the people from all walks of life, vowed to discipline them in accordance with the procedures in a bid to deceive the public.
Later they said that "other parties can use it in the by-election, and let the disciplinary punishment stand over after the by-election and then made the three members of the ethics investigation advisory committee of the "National Assembly" nominated by them resign so that the "National Assembly" failed to discuss the disciplinary measures against those who made reckless remarks.
All the facts clearly show that LKP coteries are immersed in avoiding the punishment by deception and procrastination and seeking their political ambition without guilty conscience about an insult to justice, truth and democratic spirit.
This is the true colors of the conservative and traitorous group that can never be seen otherwise.
The group of ultra-rightist conservatives hailing from the "Liberal Party" of Syngman Rhee set up and backed up the fascist dictatorial regimes, taking the lead in making the whole of south Korea a graveyard of human rights and democracy.
It was LKP ancestors who put Kwangju in a pool of blood under the lethal order that "you do not mind killing 70 percent of Kwangju citizens" and who positively supported the vicious regime of military gangsters.
LKP coteries, the descendants of the military fascist clique, have distorted and covered up the May 18 historical fact and insulted the victims so as to prevent the probe into the truth behind the uprising.
It is a tragicomedy that the group of traitors, who are trying to conceal their blood-stained past and revive the fascist dictatorship and defending those who spoke ill of the May 18 uprising, are talking about the "impartiality of disciplinary punishment" and "ethics investigation".
Unless the criminal LKP, the malignant tumor of the south Korean society, is removed, the second Kwangju massacre will be a matter of time.
The south Korean people will push ahead with their vigorous struggle to prove that the desperate efforts of the conservative and traitorous group are in vain to avoid the punishment by history. -0-

Taking delight in serving the people

                                                         

Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un finds his greatest joy in the people’s happiness and takes delight in serving them.

Whenever he inspects newly rising structures, he says that he is already gratified to think that they will be ringing with the people’s laughter, he carries on the revolution to relish such a taste and he is the happiest when he provides them with one asset after another.Last year, too, he continued an uninterrupted inspection tour to make sure that the people enjoy a more affluent and civilized life.In July and August when people were seeking refuge at water parks and bathing resorts from the fiercest heat the country’s meteorological observation had ever recorded, he provided field guidance to over 20 units around the country without rest.

He oversaw economic construction and the work to improve the people’s livelihood as he toured from North Phyongan Province to Ryanggang, North Hamgyong, Kangwon, South Hwanghae and South Phyongan Provinces.
It was a hottest August day when he inspected an industrial establishment to see a new type of trolley bus and tramcar.
As he saw the vehicles, he highly praised the producers for their achievements, saying that he was more pleased and thankful as everything was manufactured by local factories, he was very satisfied and everything was perfect. He added with deep emotion that he was buoyed as if he picked a star from the sky that day and asked how many such pleasant days there would be in a year.
He was dripping with perspiration as he beamed all the way, picturing the happy people using the modern means of public transport of better quality.
On his visit to a fishery station on the east coast in November, he said that it was really nice to see the fish that had just been caught pumped up from the fishing boat and poured out in a cascade at the outdoor unloading ground, and proposed having a photo taken with fishermen and other employees with the spectacular sight for the backdrop.
And at the Wonsan Leather Shoes Factory, he said he was glad to hear that the factory came first at the national footwear exhibition and that its Maebongsan shoes were highly favored. I have come to the factory without prior notice, he said, but I can see lots of shoes produced. It is really satisfying to see production keep going steadily in the factory and quality shoes flown down like a waterfall, he added.
The Korean people lead a happier life with each passing day, thanks to his continuous field guidance tours.
