                    London 26th  of February  Juche 113(2024)
 The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI) and the  Korean Friendship Association( KFA UK) issued the following joint statement in support of the press statement of  comrade Kim Son Gyong, vice-minister for International Organizations of the DPRK Foreign Ministry that was issued on the 23rd of February ;

On the 20th of February the US vetoed a resolution, sponsored by Algeria  in the UN Security Council(UNSC) , calling for a ceasefire by the Israelis. So far 30,000 people have been killed by the Israelis , a ceasefire is a necessity . This is the demand of the world people  and many people throughout the world have taken to the streets to demand a ceasefire . By vetoing the resolution calling for a ceasefire and being the only UNSC member to do so , the US has trampled wantonly and spitefully the demands of the world people.

Comrade Kim Son Gyong in his statement says that "I vehemently denounce with bitter resentment the atrocious crime of the U.S. that seeks hegemonic purposes only, remaining utterly indifferent to the bloodshed of innocent peoples of other countries to meet its own geopolitical interest."

Through the statement of comrade Kim Son Gyong , the DPRK is expressing the righteous anger of the world people . Moreover he correctly points out that the US imperialists are fully complicit in the genocide of the Palestinian people .

Comrade Kim Son Gyong calls for the removal of the US from the UN Security Council.

We support the just condemnation of the DPRK for the US's complicity in the the Israeli Zionist genocide and support the call for the US to be removed from the UN Security Council.
