Against introduction of construction materials On June 8, the Ministry of National Defense and the US troops in south Korea introduced construction materials for THAAD base in Seongju, north Gyeongsang Province. Residents in Soseong-ri and more than eighty members of civil organization against THAAD asserted that deployment of THAAD generates the danger of war on the Korean Peninsula and staged a sit-down strike on the road outside the village hall.
