The ,British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJ) and the Korean Friendship Association of the UK ( KFA UK)  today issued a joint statement in support of the  press statement titled 'The U.S. act to use international body as a tool for implementing its strategy for hegemony can never be tolerated' that was made by on Friday 21st of March ;

The present administration of the US is causing chaos in the international community by its erratic and unpredictable actions  as well its pursuit of extreme US unilateralism in the shape of the "America First " policy .

It waa  reported that the questionnaires recently sent by the U.S. administration to UN organizations and non-governmental organizations contain dozens of questions on the influence of the activities of the relevant organizations on the security and economic fields of the U.S., their cooperative relations with organizations related to communism, socialism, totalitarian or anti-U.S. forces, and whether they have received funds from China, Russia, Cuba and Iran?

The present US administration have taken US imperialist arrogance to its very extremes and . The US is acting in a privileged way and its acting as if it owns the UN and other international bodies .

As  Jo Chol Su, permanent representative of the DPRK at the UN Office and international organizations in Geneva states ;'The behaviour of the present U.S. Administration which forces the international community to follow "America first" doctrine predicts the emergence of "McCarthyism" of the 21st century version'

The ,British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJ) and the Korean Friendship Association of the UK ( KFA UK)  today issued a joint statement in support of the  press statement titled ' It is within the range of the option of the DPRK's armed forces to use the most deadly military means against the hostile forces seriously threatening the sovereignty and security of its state' that was made by a spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defence of the DPRK on Thursday 20th of March;

Recently , the US imperialist and the ROK puppets staged the 'Freedom Shield 2025 ' war exercise against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK). The exercises even included the armed forces of satellite countries of the US such as Britain ! .

What made this year's ' Freedom Shield ' different to earlier years was that a  special warfare drill aimed at "destroying the secret underground tunnel network" and "removing nuclear weapons" of the DPRK  was staged .

As the spokesperson of the DPRK Ministry of National Defence commented "As the military provocations of the hostile countries are committed at the grave level that can never be overlooked and tolerated, clear is the stand of the DPRK's armed forces to counter them"

The DPRK Constitution has provisions to deal with the situation in which the existence of the DPRK is threatened by aggressive hostile forces . The DPRK Ministry of National Defence warns as follows "The Ministry of National Defence of the DPRK strongly warns the U.S. and the ROK military to stop at once the irresponsible and dangerous military acts, issuing a warning once again about the catastrophic result to be entailed by the adventuristic saber-rattling of the hostile forces."

We believe that the US imperialists and south Korean puppets would be well advised to cease their provocations and aggression against People's Korea immediately !

Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) -- Jo Chol Su, permanent representative of the DPRK at the UN Office and international organizations in Geneva issued the following press statement titled "The U.S. act to use international body as a tool for implementing its strategy for hegemony can never be tolerated" on Friday:

The fact that the present U.S. Administration, which is bringing chaos and disorder to the international community with its unpredictable foreign policy, sent weird questionnaires to international organizations was out in the open, sparking off great uproar again.

It is reported that the questionnaires recently sent by the U.S. administration to UN organizations and non-governmental organizations contain dozens of questions on the influence of the activities of the relevant organizations on the security and economic fields of the U.S., their cooperative relations with organizations related to communism, socialism, totalitarian or anti-U.S. forces, and whether they have received funds from China, Russia, Cuba and Iran.

It is a product which can be cooked up only by the U.S., obsessed with the gangster-like hegemonic logic that all international relations should exist only for the interests of America, styling itself an ultra-privileged being reigning over the international community.

It is well known that the U.S. has earned an ill-fame as it has so far ignored international organizations including repeating its withdrawal from and entry into international organizations as if coming in and out of its own house and unhesitatingly wiretapping high-ranking officials of the UN.

However, the U.S. is trying to treat international organizations as an organ under the U.S. Department of State. This is far beyond arrogance and impertinence of the past, stunning the world people.

"Serious encroachment upon the internal activities of the UN bodies with independence" and "litmus paper examining the support for 'America first'" - these are the angry response of the international community to the U.S. questionnaires.

International organization, whose mission is to promote mutual exchange and cooperation among states and establish a fair international order, regards impartiality and objectivity as its fundamental principle for its specific feature and bans pressure and interference of a specific state.

If an international organization interferes in internal affairs of its member nation, raises unfair demand and gives pressure to it, following the demand of any individual country, it is already not an international body in a real meaning.

The questionnaires that can be called an "open threatening letter" prove that the U.S. is trying to subordinate the international organizations as the body executing "America first" policy which moves according to its baton and serves its interests.

The behavior of the present U.S. Administration which forces the international community to follow "America first" doctrine predicts the emergence of "McCarthyism" of the 21st century version.

Such behavior of inciting confrontation against the international trend aspiring after multipolarization deserves condemnation, and international community should remain vigilant so that the U.N. and other international organizations are not yielded to the unilateralism and arbitrary practices of the U.S. -0-

Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) — A spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defence of the DPRK on Thursday issued the following press statement titled "It is within the range of the option of the DPRK's armed forces to use the most deadly military means against the hostile forces seriously threatening the sovereignty and security of its state":

Recently the U.S. and the ROK military gangsters staged a special warfare drill aimed at "destroying the secret underground tunnel network" and "removing nuclear weapons" of someone as part of the large-scale war exercises Freedom Shield.

This proves that the joint military exercises of "defensive nature" much touted by the U.S. and the ROK are no more than a rehearsal of war of aggression aimed at invading and occupying the DPRK from A to Z.

During the period of Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military maneuvers in March 2016, the U.S. and the ROK staged the drills of "beheading operation" and "high-density strike" at strategic objects in accordance with OPLAN 5015. In 2017 they carried out "beheading operation" and "preemptive strike operation" drills targeting major military installations with a special unit more than 3 000-strong involved.

As the military provocations of the hostile countries are committed at the grave level that can never be overlooked and tolerated, clear is the stand of the DPRK's armed forces to counter them.

The DPRK's relevant law clearly stipulates what means and methods should be used in contingency to remove hostile forces threatening the existence of our state, and it is the mission of the armed forces of the DPRK to strictly observe and implement it.

All options for containing the U.S. and the ROK and for eliminating the source of provocation, if necessary, including the use of the most destructive and deadly military means, are under the consideration of our armed forces.

The accumulated reckless military moves of the U.S. and the ROK, seized with the daydream that they can jeopardize the sovereignty and security of a nuclear weapons state, can undoubtedly bring the gravest consequences they do not want.

Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, met and had a photo session with the participants in the third national meeting of active neighbourhood unit leaders on March 20.

The participants were filled with great excitement and joy, boundless happiness and pride as they were to have a photograph taken with the benevolent Marshal Kim Jong Un, whom they have always longed to see.

DPRK Missile Administration Conducts Test-fire of Latest Anti-aircraft Missile System

Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) -- The Missile Administration of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea conducted a test-fire of the latest anti-aircraft missile system on March 20 to examine the comprehensive performance of the system, which was put into full-scale production at a relevant munitions industry enterprise.

Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, oversaw the test-fire together with major members of the Central Military Commission of the WPK.

The test-fire proved that the combat quick response of the latest anti-aircraft missile system was superior and the overall weapon system was highly reliable.

Saying that the Korean People's Army will be equipped with another major defence weapon system with laudable combat performance, Kim Jong Un extended thanks to the anti-aircraft weapon system research group and the relevant munitions industry enterprise for greatly contributing to bolstering up the national defence capabilities. -0-

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Visits Nampho Dockyard

Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, gave field guidance at the Nampho Dockyard on March 20.

He was accompanied by major senior officials of the WPK Central Committee.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un went round various production lines of the dockyard.

True to his on-site instructions, the workers, technicians and officials of the dockyard are pushing ahead with the work for modernizing production lines and expanding their production capacity in an all-out effort to implement the policy of the WPK on developing the shipbuilding industry in the new era.

While learning in detail about the rebuilding of the dockyard and expansion of its production capacity, he said it is a primary and important task for developing the national economy and bolstering the Juche-oriented naval forces for our state to accelerate the modernization of the shipbuilding industry and radically increase the overall shipbuilding capacity. He noted that we should open up a new era, when the shipbuilding industry undergoes a rapid change, and guarantee its change without fail.

He stressed again that, to this end, it is necessary to give top priority to the work of rapidly raising the level of modernization of the shipbuilding industry as a whole, while efficiently perfecting the structure of the industry and intensifying policy-oriented and technical guidance, and ensure a nationwide and full support to it in a sustainable way.

The ,British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJ) and the Korean Friendship Association of the UK ( KFA UK)  today issued a joint statement in support of the  press statement titled " Japan's reckless possession of preemptive attack capability will only expose the archipelago as a common target of regional countries" that was made by the  policy section chief of the Institute for Japan Studies under the DPRK Foreign Ministry on Thursday 20th of March.

Recently , Japan has tried to take advantage of the worsening international situation caused by the US imperialists . Japan is increasing its expansionist and war like moves under the deceptive cloak  of peace . The Japanese militarists plan to deploy domestically produced long range missiles to strike the DPRK and China. The missiles are modified version of type 12 surface-to-ship guided missiles possessed by the Japan Ground "Self-Defence Force", which are intended for attack even on the ground targets with about 1 000 km range.

Japan is also looking to deploy hypersonic missiles and Cruise missiles .

Japan is looking for revenge for its defeat 80 years ago and also to revive the Japanese empire which was known as the "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere ". This is being backed up by the US imperialists.

As the    policy section chief of the Institute for Japan Studies under the DPRK Foreign Ministry correctly states  "All the facts go to clearly prove once again that all military means and various forms of movement directly targeting the DPRK as well as the aggressive and challenging consciousness against it are an object to be wiped out and that the DPRK efforts for bolstering up the defence capabilities are an indispensable contribution to thoroughly containing the provocations of enemy countries and maintaining the strategic balance and stability in the region."

We support the statement of  the  policy section chief of the Institute for Japan Studies under the DPRK Foreign Ministry because it draws attention to the increasing militarisation of Japan which is being ignored by many in Britain . The anti-imperialist , progressive and peace movement in Britain must do more to counter Japanese militarism.

People’s Korea is a tax-free socialist paradise-special article by Dr Dermot Hudson

                                 

In the UK and indeed other countries of the capitalist world taxation is causing a lot of disgruntlement , to put it mildly and somewhat understate it . Many local councils in the UK are increasing council tax bills by 4.99 per cent which is above the rate of inflation. Today I was shocked to open a letter from my local authority which said I would have to pay an extra £6 per month in council tax ! Since I moved into my present residence nearly 9 years ago ,council tax has increased by a staggering £38 ! . Some local councils will increase their council tax an unbelievable 7 per cent or 8 per cent . Despite these massive above inflation increases some local councils in the UK are actually facing bankruptcy , you do seriously wonder what they do with the money . Of course council tax is in addition to different kinds of central taxation and taxes such as Value Added Tax (VAT).

   

 However in one country , People’s Korea , April will not see citizens receiving stark demands for council or indeed any other kind of tax  ! . This is because on the 21st of March 1974 , in accordance with Article.33 of the 1972 edition Socialist Constitution of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK )  which stipulated that “ The state abolishes taxation, a holdover of the old society.” The abolition of taxation in the DPRK had originally been put forward at the 4th Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea in  1961 and in 1962 comrade KIM JONG IL gave a talk to students of KIM IL SUNG University titled ‘On Our Party’s People’s Oriented Policy of Ultimately Abolishing the Tax System “.

The DPRK set about the task of abolishing taxation step by step . In the period 1964-1966 peasants were freed from agricultural tax in kind . Only income tax and local authority tax remained , By the 1970s taxes accounted for only a small fraction of state revenue . The DPRK’s far reaching and ambitious social welfare programme was instead funded from the profits of state-owned industry .

Thus in the spring of 1974 the DPRK completely abolished taxation. On March 21st 1974 the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK  decided as follows ; “1. The tax system, a vestige of the old society, shall be abolished completely,

2. The Administration Council of the DPRK shall take measures to implement this law, and

3. The law shall be effective from April 1, 1974”

 At the same time as the abolition  of taxation the DPRK  reduced prices by 30 per cent on average . A truly epochal measure for raising living standards . In Britain prices just go up and up . Recently , water bills were increased even though water is a natural resource which cannot have increased costs.

 As President KIM IL SUNG said “ The abolition of the tax system in our country is the brilliant victory of the great Juche idea as well as a demonstration of the incomparable advantages of our socialist system which is the embodiment of the Juche idea and the great capability of our socialist independent national economy.

Thanks to the immortal Juche idea and its brilliant victory, our people are being provided with a richer, independent and creative life in the socialist land of happiness, where there is no exploitation, oppression or taxation.”

 The abolition of taxation was only possible under the Juche-based , advanced socialist system of the DPRK . In People’s Korea citizens enjoy free housing as well as free education and free health care . This is a miracle of Juche-based socialism . People’s Korea is indeed a tax-free socialist paradise .

Press Statement by Policy Section Chief of Institute for Japan Studies under DPRK Foreign Ministry

Pyongyang, March 20 (KCNA) -- The policy section chief of the Institute for Japan Studies under the DPRK Foreign Ministry on Thursday issued the following press statement titled "Japan's reckless possession of preemptive attack capability will only expose the archipelago as a common target of regional countries":

The geopolitical crises caused by the U.S. are increasing the danger of the outbreak of a new great war in different parts of the world. Against this backdrop, Japan, obsessed with the ambition for overseas expansion, has further accelerated its militarist moves, attracting the attention of the world public.

According to media, the Japanese government is mulling deploying home-produced long-range missiles for action in Kyushu area in the southwestern part of the archipelago in March 2026 in order to "secure the capability of attacking enemy bases".

Such missiles are modified version of type 12 surface-to-ship guided missiles possessed by the Japan Ground "Self-Defence Force", which are intended for attack even on the ground targets with about 1 000 km range, and the DPRK and the coastal areas of China are reportedly within their striking range.

Earlier, the Japan Ministry of Defence announced that it would deploy in 2026 high-speed gliding projectiles, a hypersonic weapon which proved successful in a test-fire. It also opened to public the research and manufacture of new-type ballistic missile with a range of 3 000 km.

Moreover, Japan secured the U.S approval for the sale of medium-range air-to-air missiles and long-range air-to-surface cruise missiles and is putting spurs on the building of long-range missile force while seeking to deploy the U.S.-made long-range cruise missiles Tomahawk.

This clearly shows that Japan's possession of preemptive attack capability, formulated through the revision of "national security strategy" at the end of 2022, is becoming a present perfect form and the descendants of the samurais, who had so far made a feint of being a "pacific nation" under the signboard of "exclusive defence" before the international community, have fully revealed their wild ambition of militarism.

Japan's possession of the capability for preemptive attack is an immediate product of the reinvasion policy to realize its ambition for the second "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere", persistently pursued by Japan regarding it as a strategic goal while whetting a sword for revenge for 80 years since its defeat.

It is not a secret that the successive regimes of Japan have misled the public opinion with such absurd interpretation that the "possession of the capability of attacking enemy base" is within the limit of "self-defence", claiming that it is not the purport of the Constitution to sit and wait for self-destruction, and worked hard for its realization.

Not content with having staged joint military drills for aggression at all times by drawing unbidden guests from over continents and oceans into the Asia-Pacific region to constantly incite war fever, Japan is seeking to deploy even long-range strike means capable of rapidly attacking specific countries in the region any moment. This clearly shows that Japan's military expansion has been developed into an extremely grave stage.

Japan, a war criminal state which has much possibility to repeat its crime as it has totally denied and justified the past history of aggression, is going reckless to get the capability for preemptive attack on other country's territory beyond the borders of its archipelago in the near future. Such "bold action" is a dangerous provocation that will bring about constant escalation of tension by sowing the spark of new military conflict in Northeast Asia.

The rumor about "threat from its surroundings", so zealously clamored by Japan, is only for providing a pretext to cover up its reckless reinvasion war preparations going beyond its own defence demands, as illustrated by all-time high military spendings growing every year, frantic securement of preemptive attack means, constant strengthening of the Japan-U.S. military alliance and multilateral collusion and nexus with NATO forces.

Japan has worked hard to turn itself into a major military power, crying out for the "free and open Indo-Pacific", an expanded version of the "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere". Such moves make one keenly realize that the "imperial army", which inflicted indelible wounds on the peoples in the Asia-Pacific region, is being reborn.

All the facts go to clearly prove once again that all military means and various forms of movement directly targeting the DPRK as well as the aggressive and challenging consciousness against it are an object to be wiped out and that the DPRK efforts for bolstering up the defence capabilities are an indispensable contribution to thoroughly containing the provocations of enemy countries and maintaining the strategic balance and stability in the region.

Japan's reckless possession of preemptive attack capability to put neighboring countries in the striking range while seeking a chance for reinvasion will, on the contrary, expose its archipelago to the attack by righteous regional countries as a common target. -0-

The ,British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJ) and the Korean Friendship Association of the UK ( KFA UK)has taken the decision to form the UK Preparatory Committee for Celebrating the Day of the Sun, the 113th anniversary of the birth of the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung. The Preparatory Committee will include progressive anti-imperialist  political parties such as the New Communist Party and Internationalist Revolutionary Communist Party'.

The foundation statement declares as follows; The birth of the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung is celebrated by Korean people and Juche idea followers as the Day of the Sun (meaning that President Kim Il Sung  was like a bright sun bringing hope and liberation to the Korean nation)K.
                                                     

   President Kim Il Sung was the greatest of great leaders. The Korean people uphold him as their eternal President . He led the anti-imperialist national liberation struggle of the Korean people against Japanese imperialism and won independence for the Korean people. They became masters of their own destiny .President Kim Il Sung authored the Juche Idea the acme of progressive ideas of humanity.
  President Kim Il Sung founded the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(DPRK), the homeland of Juche and a durable socialist state centred upon the popular masses .Also he  founded the Workers’ Party of Korea , the supreme general staff of the Korean revolution. Also he founded the Korean People’s Army the stalwart sentinel of Juche-based socialism.
                                     

Throughout his life President Kim Il Sung was a tireless fighter for global independence and also against modern revisionism. President Kim Il Sung was a true internationalist who sent internationalist assistance to many lands of the world including Cuba, Egypt, Vietnam and many other countries.
President Kim Il Sung was indeed a giant of the international communist movement and its elder statesman. Major Ernesto Che Guevara  said that the DPRK led by the great leader President
Kim Il Sung was the socialist country he admired the most.

The truth about the "north Korean human rights lobby "

 

 

So apparently some so-called "north Korean human rights groups " are in a pickle and near to collapse  because the United States  "National Endowment for Democracy " had its funding frozen by Trump's new spending Czar or Doge  one Mr Elon Musk.

 

  It is not for KFA UK to speculate about infighting between different factions of the US ruling class or what may be a restructuring of US regime change operations . US imperialism is undergoing a reset which appears to be based on the idea that regime change operations and interventions in foreign countries must bring monetary benefits to the US in the short term as well as medium and long term .This has caught out the ‘north Korean human right’ liberals and grifters .

 

Since the beginning of the second Trump administration  one fact has emerged very clearly that is that the so-called "north Korean human rights lobby " like LINK (Liberty in North Korea ) are really funded by the US and are a tool of US foreign policy . It shows that all the talk of "human rights abuses " and 'prison camps' in the DPRK are just inventions of those paid by the US to make propaganda against People's Korea .Supposed “satellite pictures “ of ‘labour camps’ and ‘concentration camps ‘ in the DPRK have actually been proven to be pictures of farm villages and factories . We have argued this for years and years , now the truth has finally come out ! Organisations like LINK and the Korea Future Initiative are simply part of a vast US-led conspiracy against socialism in People’s Korea and are funded by the US government.

 

The “ Free Joson “ group, that was created by the original founder of LINK Adrian Hong ,actually carried out terrorism against People's Korea in February 2019 when they tried to attack the DPRK Embassy in Madrid ,Spain injuring women and children . To date Hong has not been extradited to Spain .

 

KFA UK was also told by more than one source including a former researcher of the UK Home Office , that in fact these "human rights " groups received  a monetary reward for each DPRK citizen they took out of the DPRK .In other words they were engaged in kidnapping and human trafficking at the behest of the US !

 

Of course dirty tricks ,covert operations , smears and propaganda against the DPRK will not disappear because no doubt some entities like NKNews and Radio Free Asia operate on special ring fenced deep state funds which probably cannot be touched by Trump and his acolyte Musk.

U.S. Urged to Stop Use of Force at Once

Pyongyang, March 18 (KCNA) -- Ma Tong Hui, ambassador of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to Egypt and concurrently to Yemen, gave the following answer to a question raised by KCNA on Tuesday over the U.S. recent military attack on Yemen that caused many casualties among peaceful inhabitants:

Recently the U.S. launched a large-scale military attack on Yemen under the pretext of protecting international trade from so-called terrorism.

A hundred and tens of innocent peaceful inhabitants including children and women were killed or wounded and huge property damage caused due to the indiscriminate military attack committed by vast forces of the U.S. Air Force and Navy, including a nuclear aircraft carrier.

This military attack by the U.S. is a wanton violation of all international laws including the UN Charter and it is an open encroachment upon the sovereignty of other nation that can never be justified.

I express serious concern over and strongly condemn and reject the illegal military moves of the U.S. which is resorting to its exclusive and unilateral geopolitical ambition while gravely violating the sovereignty and territorial integrity of other countries through the violence of injustice in disregard of international law.

At present the situation in the Middle East has plunged into an uncontrollable evil cycle and the prospect of political settlement of disputes in the region has become gloomier. This is attributable to the high-handed and arbitrary practices and unreasonable interference by the outside forces seeking only hegemonic interests.

The international community will have to express serious concern and protest against the U.S. hooliganism seriously disturbing regional peace and stability, and the U.S. should stop at once such indiscriminate use of force that will invite its own international isolation. -0-

Rising Red: Comrade Ly Kimlong’s Path to Socialism with the Korean Friendship Association

 

 

The march toward socialism is a path paved with dedication, ideological commitment, and an understanding of revolutionary principles. Among Cambodia’s 17 million people, Comrade Ly Kimlong stands as a strong advocate for socialism and communism. He is the current head of the Cambodian - Korean Friendship Alliance (KFA Cambodia), a branch of the Korean Friendship Association, an international friendship association with DPR Korea. Comrade Ly Kimlong’s journey into socialism was not merely an academic pursuit but a deep-rooted belief in the principles of self-reliance, state sovereignty and independence. KFA Cambodia, among its many activities, is a good friend and supporter of the DPRK Embassy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, with Comrade Ly Kimlong being invited to attend functions and meet regularly with Korean comrades in Cambodia.     The  British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea Study and the  Korean Friendship Association of the UK issued the following joint statement in support of the press statement of the DPRK Foreign Ministry that was titled "G7, the U.S.-led nuclear criminal group, should thoroughly abandon its anachronistic ambition for nuclear hegemony" and issued on Sunday 16th of March ;

Recently a meeting of foreign ministers of the so-called "G7" , "Group of Seven " which consists of  the US , UK , Canada ,France , Germany , Italy and Japan , was held at which the participants actually demanded the unilateral nuclear disarmament of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK)! This was a grave interference in the sovereignty of the DPRK as well as a denial of the DPRK 's constitution which enshrines the DPRK's nuclear .

The DPRK Foreign Ministry responded to the insolent interference of the G7 saying that " it will never tolerate any encroachment upon the sovereignty and internal affairs of the DPRK" described the G7 as a "criminal group " . The G7 is after all composed of lackeys and vassal states of US imperialism .

It is today's world it is the G7 that is a nuclear threat . The G7 is headed by the US which is the only country in the world to have issued nuclear weapons and against a non-nuclear state . The US has the biggest stockpile of nuclear weapons in the world . Britain ,a G7 member , is transferring nuclear weapons to Australia and is considering allowing US nuclear weapons to be deployed on its soil.

The G7 should stop demanding the DPRK's unilateral disarmament which is tantamount to regime regime change and the overthrow of the socialist system in the DPRK .

The DPRK Foreign Ministry declares that "The DPRK will steadily update and strengthen its nuclear armed forces both in quality and quantity in response to the nuclear threat from outside as stipulated in its Constitution and other domestic laws and reliably defend the peace and security of the state, the region and the rest of the world as the responsible nuclear weapons state"

This is a just and correct response to the hegemonism and interreference of the US -led criminal group the G7 . We fully support the resolve of the DPRK to defend itself from imperialist aggression.

Press Statement of Spokesperson for DPRK Foreign Ministry

Pyongyang, March 17 (KCNA) -- A spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea issued the following press statement titled "G7, the U.S.-led nuclear criminal group, should thoroughly abandon its anachronistic ambition for nuclear hegemony" on Sunday:

At the G7 foreign minister meeting recently held in Canada, the U.S. and other Western countries perpetrated a political provocation talking about someone's "dismantlement of nukes", while pulling up the DPRK over its exercise of the just and legitimate sovereign rights.

The Foreign Ministry of the DPRK expresses a serious concern over the fact that the member states of G7, the chief criminals wrecking the global peace and security and the international nuclear non-proliferation system, are taking issue with the possession of the just war deterrence of a sovereign state just like a guilty party filing the suit first, and clarifies that it will never tolerate any encroachment upon the sovereignty and internal affairs of the DPRK.

Those countries which regard nuclear weapons as the main means for realizing their aggressive and hegemonic political and military purposes are the member states of the G7, and those countries which are hell-bent on illegal and malicious nuclear proliferation act under the pretext of "nuclear sharing" and "offer of extended deterrence" are none other than the member states of the G7.

It is an irrefutable well-known fact that the U.S., the only state that used nuclear weapons in the world, is a typical nuclear threat entity that is bringing the crisis of nuclear conflict to the Korean peninsula, Europe and other parts of the world through unlimited nuclear arms buildup and reckless nuclear war drills and it is the biggest country of the world proliferating nuclear weapons.

Britain, not content with its nuclear weapons, is openly attempting to introduce again the U.S. nukes into its country and taking the lead in transferring nuclear submarine technology to a non-nuclear weapons state, and the U.S. nukes have been deployed in Germany and Italy.

Meanwhile, claiming "offering of nuclear umbrella" to western European counties, France is fostering another concerning possibility of nuclear proliferation in the region, and Japan has been provided with the U.S. "extended deterrence" including nuclear weapons, thus raising the relationship of security and cooperation with the U.S. to the one of nuclear alliance.

All facts shows that G7 which consists of the U.S. and its vassal allies is, indeed, the root cause of the occurrence of global nuclear crisis and its aggravation and that G7 should start the "complete and irretrievable abandonment of nukes".

G7, which has turned into a nuclear criminal group gravely threatening the global peace and security, should thoroughly abandon its anachronistic ambition for nuclear hegemony before talking about someone's "denuclearization" and "dismantlement of nukes".

The DPRK's position of nuclear weapons state which has been fixed permanently by the supreme law of its state will not change according to the recognition of anyone, and the DPRK's nuclear armed forces will exist forever as a powerful means of justice which defends the sovereignty of the state, territorial integrity and fundamental interests, prevents a war in the Korean peninsula and Northeast Asia and guarantees a strategic stability of the world.

Report of the 1st Reading/Study Session of the book “ Understanding Korea Volume 9 “Human Rights “ 15.03.2025 .

The Korean Friendship Association of the UK(KFA UK) and British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea organised a reading and study session of the booklet “Understanding Korea -Volume 9 Human Rights “ , which took place on 15.03.2025 at 1500 hours GMT online . Participating were members of KFA UK and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea from London , West of England and other parts of the UK as well a guests from KFA Andalusia (Spain ) , KFA Germany , KFA Greece , the People’s Korea Initiative of Poland and KFA members from the USA .

Sections 1 to 21 of the book “Understanding Korea  9 -Human Rights “https://korea-dpr.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/UNDERSTANDING-KOREA-9-HUMAN-RIGHTS.pdf was  read out by KFA UK Chairman Dr Dermot Hudson and KFA UK Organisation Secretary Alan Bolon .

It was explained that the DPRK has a unique , Juche-oriented view of human rights which considers national independence to be most important . The DPRK took measures to abolish colonial laws of Japanese imperialism and also to ensure human rights even under wartime .

It was pointed out that even in the fierce Fatherland Liberation War , in the DPRK no one starved to death or was homeless.

Questions and discussion followed . Participants pointed out that the USA is the worst human rights violator which has systemic racism .

A participant said “In the DPRK, human rights are equal to freedom from capitalist oppression—not freedom to exploit others. The DPRK already smashed  formal bourgeois rights . The DPRK’s human rights are practical solutions of the material conditions for real freedom—freedom from hunger, homelessness, and capitalist exploitation”

KCNA Commentary Warns against Any War Reinforcements

Pyongyang, March 16 (KCNA) -- The U.S. is getting ever more undisguised in its intention to become the most hostile and confrontational entity to the DPRK through practical actions.

Recently, a squadron of F-35B, the latest stealth fighter stationed in the U.S. mainland, was additionally deployed in the U.S. military base in Iwakuni of Japan.

The F-35B, capable of making immediate sortie through vertical take-off and landing as helicopters, is one of the main forces of the U.S. marines and constitutes a core reinforcements and strategic asset to be dispatched first to the ROK in contingency.

The F-35B stealth fighters of two squadrons belonging to the U.S. marines, already deployed in the Iwakuni base, have always been involved in the various U.S.-led war drills conducted in the vicinity of the Korean peninsula to practice the performance of operational mission.

The U.S. Indo-Pacific Command and other war forces in the field are now inciting a war fever to the full, asserting that the air combat capability of the U.S. marines in Japan would make a greater contribution to the combined joint operation with allies in the Indo-Pacific region through the additional deployment of F-35B and that the bolstering of deterrent force is expected to prove effective.

The additional deployment of offensive war reinforcements to cope with contingency in the Korean peninsula is hourly increasing the unpredictability of actual armed conflict and a nuclear war.

As known, being staged in the puppet ROK is the large-scale joint military exercises Freedom Shield 2025 including a nuclear war rehearsal aimed at a "preemptive strike" on the core facilities and areas of the DPRK. And the U.S. Navy's nuclear carrier Carl Vinson task force is involved in various joint drills while staying in the waters off the Korean peninsula.

At a critical point when an accidental gunshot may cause a physical conflict between the two sides, the mastering of capability to fight a war by the local forces and the additional deployment of offensive reinforcements are being carried out in parallel.

No one in the world will believe this as a visible demonstration or just a warning of the U.S.

It is the undeniable reality witnessed by the international community that the U.S. war machines with no brake have switched to an accelerated motion that can no longer be stopped in the Korean peninsula and the region.

This year, the deployment of U.S. strategic assets targeting the DPRK has visibly increased and the U.S.-led bilateral and multi-lateral war military drills have been ceaselessly conducted. Such reality clearly proves that the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK is the immutable "legacy of its regime" handed down irrespective of regime change and a bad habit of unconditionally denying the DPRK.

The U.S. desperate moves of military adventurism aimed to create military imbalance and incite a new geopolitical conflict in the Korean peninsula and Northeast Asia provide the DPRK with reasonable justification and the urgent need to give tougher warning of action.

It is our invariable judgment and correct answer to those who worship upper hand in strength to respond with language and action that they only can understand.

F-35B will advance to a battlefield first in contingency on the Korean peninsula?

It's absurd.

The U.S. anti-communist outposts which neglect and infringe upon the security concern of the DPRK and put the whole area under the critical situation are within the constant sighting and striking range of the DPRK's indefinite forces.

Any war reinforcements of the U.S. will be completely contained and wiped out. -0-

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Visits Construction Site of 10 000 Flats at Third Stage in Hwasong Area Nearing Completion

Pyongyang, March 16 (KCNA) -- Thanks to the capital city construction strategy set forth at the Eighth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the scientific and energetic leadership of the Party Central Committee, Pyongyang, the capital city of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, is turning into a world-class civilized city, taking on a majestic appearance peculiar to it.

Another large and splendid architectural group of 10 000 flats has been successfully built in the Hwasong area and is nearing completion, demonstrating a new era of prosperity of Pyongyang.

Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, gave field guidance at the construction site of 10 000 flats at the third stage in the Hwasong area on March 15.

Accompanying him were Pak Thae Song, premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK, Ri Hi Yong and Kim Tok Hun, secretaries of the WPK Central Committee, and other major senior Party and government officials and officials concerned of design institutions.

With a great ambition to turn the Hwasong area into a model in the layout of urban formation elements, a functional prototype of administrative district and a beautiful and modern urban quarter embodying a harmony of architectural formative and artistic beauty and advanced civilization, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un clearly indicated the orientation and ways for building its third-stage district into a quarter with another distinction different from the first- and second-stage districts, and energetically led the work of drawing up the construction plan, giving personal guidance to a huge amount of draft formation plans.

Thanks to the strenuous efforts of the soldier builders and civilian builders, who upheld with their death-defying executive abilities the ennobling intentions of the Party Central Committee to build all the creations on this land into the entities embodying the people-first principle to be found only in the great people’s country and into the innovative ones with marked individuality, another cradle of the people with skyscrapers, high-rise apartment houses and public buildings including educational, commercial and service facilities in ideal harmony has been magnificently built in a matter of one year.

Saying with pleasure that another new, large architectural group symbolic of the dynamic trend of the Korean-style change and development has appeared in a dignified way to add to the scenery of the Hwasong area which has undergone a dramatic change, Kim Jong Un expressed his great satisfaction over the fact that a higher level of material and cultural wellbeing can be provided to the people.

He learned in detail about the overall situation of the housing construction at the third stage in the Hwasong area nearing completion.

Going round the houses, he highly appreciated the quality of the overall building work, which made a stride forward in the housing construction at the third stage in the Hwasong area, and enjoyed a bird’s-eye view of the changed appearance of the Hwasong area unfolding scenic beauty of the socialist cultural efflorescence. He continued to say:

With the start of the significant groundbreaking ceremony in the spring of 2021 when I personally gave the flag of the headquarters for building 50 000 flats in Pyongyang to its commanding officers, a loud sound of blasting has resounded on this land every year to hasten the days of rejuvenation and the capital city of Pyongyang was enveloped in joy of the people moving into new houses in every April. This is truly a worthwhile struggle and pride in realizing our Party’s long-cherished desire.

When the fourth-stage construction in the Hwasong area is completed, ours will become a country, which has perfectly resolved the housing problem of the capital city, and we can be proud of this before the world. The construction in the Hwasong area, conducted vigorously year after year, has verified the development-oriented principles to be observed in opening up a new era of the capital city construction.

Ryomyong, Mirae Scientists and other new streets sprang up year after year, renewing the appearance of the capital city, but there has never been an urban quarter like the Hwasong area which has been erected on a large scale with perfect functionality in a short span of time. This is of great experimental significance in putting the new era of prosperity of Pyongyang on a higher level.

He then clarified all the tasks arising in achieving clear changes and progress suited to the new era by meeting the requirements of the Party’s policy and sustaining the modern character of our own style in construction, which is an epitome of national strength and civilization, and went on:

The Hwasong area has attained the political, economic and cultural functions as a full-fledged urban administrative district and turned into a centre and standard capable of leading the areas existing in the capital city to civilization and efflorescence. This is a significant development for enhancing the strategic functions and position of the capital city.

The precious experience gained in the construction of the Hwasong area, which proved the validity of our Party’s policy on the capital city construction and set an example in the layout of urban formation elements, should be applied proactively to the capital city construction field. In this way, we can accelerate the modernization of our style suited to the political character of the capital city of our state and the world trend of architectural development.

What is particularly important in pushing forward construction is to conduct the work of steadily regulating and renewing the legal guarantee for the urban formation and development in the capital city and regional areas and wage the nationwide construction strictly in accordance with the construction law of a new standard. It is necessary to readjust and reinforce the well-regulated system of working out plans for such urban formation elements as industrial buildings and sci-tech, educational and public health facilities in a logical, scientific and planned way in conformity with the population density and characteristics of relevant regions and then strictly deliberating them before they are applied to the construction.

Specially underlining the importance of the issues of successfully drawing up and giving precedence to the scientific and future-oriented design of urban infrastructure, realizing the modernization of this work and radically improving the level of urban management, he advanced important principles and tasks that should be regarded as guidelines in implementing the policy on developing the capital city.
