Dear comrade Dr. Dermot Hudson, dear comrades of KFA UK and all other branches of KFA
we from KFA Germany want to thank you for preparing and holding this meeting on this very important anniversary. I want to talk a bit about how the DPRK could beat the self-crowned world-power USA
When the US imperialists launched a war of aggression against Korea in Juche 39 (1950), they expected a quick victory. The US has a land area 78 times that of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), plus a population ten times larger than that of the People's Republic of Korea. Also, the DPRK was founded only two years before, while the USA had already existed for 174 years and was able to expand its empire enormously in the course of the Second World War. 15 satellite states supported the USA in its war of aggression and the aggressors attacked the young republic with the most modern weapons. And yet this year we celebrate the 70th anniversary of Korea's victory in that war. How could the Korean people be victorious against this seemingly much superior force?
Friedrich Engels wrote in "On the Advantages of the Communist System": "And bear in mind, gentlemen, that the member of such a society (meaning the socialist one), in the event of a war which could, in any case, occur only against anti-communist nations, has a real fatherland, a real hearth to defend, that he will therefore fight with enthusiasm, with perseverance, with bravery before which the machine-like skill of a modern army must fly apart like chaff. Consider what wonders the enthusiasm of the revolutionary armies of 1792 to 99 has done, which after all fought only for an illusion, for a sham fatherland, and you will have to realise what strength an army must be which fights not for an illusion, but for a tangible reality. "
The strength of an army that fights for a real fatherland is shown by the Korean People's Army, which defeated the much better-equipped and numerically superior US aggressor army.
The military genius of the great leader President KIM IL SUNG was also decisive for the outcome of the war. While many of his advisors advised him to adopt the military strategies of the Soviet Union, President KIM IL SUNG applied the strategies from the anti-Japanese liberation struggle. The Soviet Union's strategies had been designed for Europe and were unsuitable for the mountainous terrain of Korea. Instead, President KIM IL SUNG created new fighting methods such as tunnel-based fighting, movement of aircraft fighter groups, movement of tank fighter groups, intensive use of artillery fire in mountains and activities of mobile artillery companies.
Even today, the Korean people, under the leadership of Marshal KIM JONG UN, are successfully resisting the embargo and all other aggressions of US imperialism. Only recently, under the leadership of Marshal KIM JONG UN, the test firing of an intercontinental ballistic missile was carried out, which is a clear warning and deterrent to the US imperialists, as well as their puppets and vassals.
