                                       London  29th May Juche 112(2023)

The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK),, British Group for the Study of the  Juche Idea(BGSJ)) , the Korean Friendship Association of the UK ( KFA UK) and the   British Solidarity Committee for the Peace and Reunification in the Korean Peninsula(BSCPRKP) issued a joint statement denouncing the unjust and discriminatory behaviour of the authorities of the Netherlands ;

According to the Press Statement of the DPRK Football Association issued on the 28th of May, the authorities of the Netherlands denied entry visas for the DPRK team to attend the 14th World Military Women's Football Championship in the Netherlands  This is deeply discriminatory and unfair behaviour which is denying the DPRK its right to participate in international sporting events.

This kind of practice is reminiscent of the worst days of the Cold War. It is also an action going against the ethics of sport and the noble spirit of promoting cooperation and peace through the medium of sport.

The Netherlands, a country well-known for corruption and decadence, has proven itself an unsuitable venue to hold international sporting events.

We support the press statement of the DPRK Football Association and strongly denounce the reactionary authorities of imperialist Netherlands, a vassal state of US imperialism. We support the will of the DPRK not to take part in 14th World Military Women's Football Championship!

NO TO DISCRIMINATION IN SPORTS!

DOWN WITH THE NETHERLANDS REACTIONARIES

DEFEND PEOPLE'S KOREA !
