United States – Symbol of All Crimes

 2022.2.4.

All sorts of world-startling crimes are recently being committed one after another in the United States, causing greater concern of the international society.

On January 13, the American magazine “Newsweek” reported that the shooting incident of December 26 last year where teenagers had been shot to death was followed by another incident where a 16-year-old girl was shot to an instant death in Texas on January 11. The girl was walking outside of her house when she was shot by a bullet fired from a passing car.

On the other hand, a tragic incident occurred in Wisconsin on January 15 where an 8-year-old girl was shot to death when a man fired a gun by accident.

These are not all.

A super-large murder crime was committed in Illinois, where a mother cold-bloodedly killed her 6-year-old son, throwing everyone into consternation.

At the time of murder, the mother, accusing her son of doing something wrong, undressed the boy, pushed him into a bath tub, poured cold water on him until he died, and put the body into a garbage bag and dumped it in desolate ruins.

More appalling is the fact that the boy’s brother and sister joined in the murder.

A 70-year-old man was killed by an unidentified guy with a fatal blow to his head, and a student in the University of California fell victim to an indiscriminate wielding of a knife. Such terrible murder cases being committed in the United States are countless, and their methods are also beyond imagination.

What is the reason behind all these crimes being committed ceaselessly in America – the country talking much about “human rights” and “public welfare”?

The underlying cause of the crimes lies in none other than the reactionary and corrupt nature of the American social system.

It has been highlighted by one fact that a court in Kentucky asked for a defendant who was recently accused of sexual assault, to decide whether to go to jail or rejoin the army after sentencing him a one-year prison and a two-year probation, saying that defendant who has a military service career can be exempted from punishment if the person rejoins the army.

It is no wonder that “Rather join the army than go to jail” is becoming a popular phrase in the United States.

It is quite natural that the international society calls the U.S. a hotbed of crime and a symbol of crime.
