ASSPUK, JISGE, UK KFA and BSCRPKP on issue of DPRK-US High level talks and the regretful attitude of the US

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) , the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula (BSCPRKP) issued the following joint statement in support of the statement issued by the DPRK Foreign Ministry concerning the
high-level DPRK-US talks ;
 Recently , high level talks took place in Pyongyang between the DPRK and US following from the
summit that was held in Singapore on the 12th of June between the supreme leader respected Marshal
KIM JONG UN  and Trump president of the USA . The spokesman of the DPRK Foreign Ministry
in their statement pointed out  that the stance of the US manifested at the high level talks was
'regretful ' because the US insisted on clinging to old policies and formulas.
  This is indeed very true because the US simply advanced unilateral demands instead of making constructive proposals to ease tensions and build up trust . Peace cannot be achieved simply by the efforts of one side alone.
  The DPRK put forward the following proposals ' making public a declaration on the end of war first on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the signing of the Korean Armistice Agreement to build a peace regime on the Korean Peninsula, dismantling the test ground of high thrust engine to make a physical verification of the suspension of ICBM production as part of denuclearization steps and making an earliest start of the working-level talks for recovering POW/MIA remains.'
  In the past few months the DPRK took decisive measures to ease and reduce tension  such as holding the Panmunjom summit , a freeze on nuclear and ICBM tests and the dismantling of the
nuclear test ground. As a very big goodwill gesture the DPRK even released the 3 American spies and criminals who had detained in the DPRK.
  The US made a big deal out of suspending some US-south Korean military exercises . This was easy for the US to do and was not a new measure because it was done in the 1990s. As the DPRK Foreign Ministry statement points out it 'is a highly reversible step which can be resumed anytime at any moment as all of its military force remains intact in its previously-held positions without scraping even a rifle'. We would like to add that US troops remain in south Korea with their guns pointed at People's Korea and US nuclear weapons are still targeting the DPRK .
 The US tried to insist on the DPRK's unilateral nuclear disarmament or so-called 'Complete Verifiable Irreversible Disarmament ' (CVID) . This is an outrageous and gangster like demand of the US which is an infringement of the DPRK's sovereignty . Moreover the US have a second unwritten agenda that is achieving regime change , the dismantlement of the Juche socialist system through  diplomacy and other means because attempts at regime change through confrontation and sanctions have got nowhere .
  We applaud and support the stance of the DPRK as expressed by the DPRK Foreign Ministry spokesman . Will support any counter-measures that the DPRK may take in future should the talks fail .
