Idea of Jiwon

Idea of Jiwon

There is an idea which has been permeated in the long history of Korean revolution.
It is just an idea of Jiwon, which was laid down by Mr. Kim Hyong Jik (1894-1926), the outstanding leader of the anti-Japanese national liberation movement in our country.
It means “Aim high”.
It consists of national independent idea which means to liberate the country by own efforts of Korean nation, not by any external forces, and indefatigable revolutionary spirit to fight without yielding for the freedom of people and liberation of the country even if the body were torn to pieces and the idea of continued revolution to bring about the bright world on the golden tapestry of three-thousand ri even by fighting through generations.
He implied the idea of aim high in the song “Green Pine on Namsan Hill” composed by himself.
Keeping the far-reaching resolution to aim high in his mind, he set out the road to liberate the country in the darkest period of Japanese imperialist rule.
President Kim Il Sung inherited the idea of aim high of Mr. Kim Hyong Jik and created the immortal Juche idea and under the banner of this idea liberated the country by leading the anti-Japanese armed struggle to victory and set up Korea as the socialist power independent, self-sufficient and self-reliant in defence.
Chairman Kim Jong Il succeeded in the idea and cause of President Kim Il Sung and defended the fatherland, revolution and socialism and created the strong foundation of succeeding the revolutionary cause of Juche with original Songun idea.
It is the strong faith and will of the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un to uphold the banner of independence, Songun and socialism and bring about the final victory of revolutionary cause of Juche by implementing the lifelong cause of the great leaders.

The revolutionary cause of Juche has been opened up and advanced with the origin of the idea of Jiwon and will surely achieve the final victory by upholding the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
