The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK and the Juche Idea
Study Group of England held a meeting through Skype at 19.30 hours on
the 25th of October. Participating in it were members of the ASSPUK and
JISGE from London, Peterborough, ,north Kent and Stoke On Trent .
Participants included Shaun Pickford general secretary of the Juche Idea
Study Group of England.
President of the ASSPUK and Chairman of
the JISGE Dr Dermot Hudson opened the meeting saying that the work " The
Cause of the Great Party of comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il is
Ever-Victorious " is a very important work of the dear respected leader
Marshal KIM JONG UN as it was writen to mark the 70th anniversary of
the foundation of the Workers Party of Korea. Dr Dermot Hudson said that
he personally attended the magnificent celebrations of the 70th
anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea in October . Dr Hudson also
said
"In the work dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN defines the
cause of the WPK in a new original way which is fully consistent with
the Juche idea and the Juche theory of party building
"The cause of
the WPK is a sacred historic cause for fully realizing the independence
of the masses of the people, the cause of the Juche revolution."
The history of the WPK is one of proud victories which show the
durablity and invincible nature of the party of the great leaders
comrades KIM IL SUNG and KIM JONG IL . Dear respected leader Marshal KIM
JONG UN with true intellectual sharpness and perspicacity clarifies
that"success in the revolution and construction depends on how a party,
the General Staff of the revolution, is built and on how its leadership
role is enhanced"
Such words are full of truth and wisdom .It is
very important in all stages of the revolutionary struggle to correctly
build the party which is the general staff of the revolution . It is
vital to enhance the leadership role , if this is not done properly or
if it is neglected then it will ultimately lead to the frustration of
socialism .This was the case in the former Soviet Union and former
socialist countries where under the banner of liberalisation the leading
role of the party was systematically undermined and downgraded
culminating in perestroika and glasnost which caused the collapse of
socialism...
This work shows that Marshal KIM JONG UN has shown a
remarkable ability to the put forward complex ideas and theories in a
concise way and is able to put a lot of material in a compact way.
Indeed respected Marshal KIM JONG UN is a great thinker and theorectian"
James Taylor JISGE and UK KFA member said that the speech gave good
explanations and showed that the durablity of the WPK compared to some
communist parties.
Daniel Braggins ASSPUK and JISGE member and
north Kent KFA said that the WPK under the leadership of the great
leaders comrades KIM IL SUNG, KIM JONG IL and KIM JONG UN has shown the
right way.
Shaun Pickford secretary general of JISGE said that
the Workers' Party of Korea has upheld and developed socialist ideas and
that the DPRK is the only real socialist country.
Dr Dermot
Hudson then spoke about the work " Let Us Hold the great leader in high
esteem and accomplish his cause " saying that this speech was made a
100 days after the great leader President KIM IL SUNG passed away . Dr
Hudson recalled being in the DPRK just before President KIM IL SUNG
passed away . Dr Hudson referring to the work said that "Comrade KIM
JONG IL makes the point that President KIM IL SUNG died at his post
after completing his work for the day . Indeed in the weeks and months
leading up to his passing awayPresident KIM IL SUNG had been
exceptionally busy conducting various meetings , giving on the spot
guidance and also meeting ex-President Jimmy Carter who was the US’s
unofficial or secret negotiator . In the work the great leader comrade
KIM JONG IL stresses that the Korean people must follow the road of
Juche and self-reliance and live their own way as taught by President
KIM IL SUNG .
Shaun Pickford secretary general JISGE said that
socialism in the DPRK is quality socialism , that the DPRK is socialist
in all aspects.
Daniel Braggins ASSPUK and JISGE member and
north Kent KFA said that the DPRK has consolidated its ideology every
step of the way.
Some other matters were discussed. Meeting concluded at 21.26 hours
