May Day in the DPRK

May Day , International Worker's Day in the DPRK is radically different to May Day in capitalist countries. In capitalist societies workers hold marches against capitalist oppression and exploitation and for the right to live. Often in capitalist countries May Day marchers are attacked by the police and beaten . In the DPRK May Day is about celebrating working -class power , peoples power and the gains of socialism. Meetings are held and also sports events, social events and picnics . Today dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN even arranged a banquet for textile mill workers ( of course the DPRK l has a textile industry unlike the UK ) . The pictures show a senior DPRK army marshal drinking toasts with ordinary workers .
