Construction of Hospitals Progresses Apace in DPRK

Pyongyang, August 21 (KCNA) -- The construction of the Children's Hospital and the Dental Hospital are in the final phase in the DPRK.
They will be equipped with ultra-modern medical apparatuses and furnishings needed for patients as required by the new century.
Soldier-builders of the Children's Hospital are pushing ahead with the plastering of outer walls after finishing the frame construction of the hospital which covers tens of thousands of square meters in total floor space.
Based on the experience gained in speeding up the construction by applying construction methods suited to the specific conditions while economizing lots of materials, a series of rational construction methods have been introduced to profusely pay off. Achievements have also been made in the plastering of inner walls and concrete tamping of ceilings.
Builders of the Dental Hospital have finished the frame construction of structures and roofing in a matter of a few months after the ground was broken for the project.
The plastering of inner walls including ceilings and floors, installing of windows and the frame construction of auxiliary buildings have been simultaneously pushed forward along with the project of tile-setting of outer walls.
Amid the growing enthusiasm of builders, high-pitched economic agitation drive and aid work, production has been boosted in relevant units in charge of the provision of materials. -0-

ASSPUK,JISGE AND UK KFA COMMENT

This is contrast to the capitalist UK where hospitals are closed down all the time.

In one London borough alone 3 hospitals were closed in the last 20 years
