JANUARY 1ST 2013 (JUCHE
102).
On
January 1st, 2013 (Juche 102), Comrade KIM JONG UN, the
First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea
and the First
Chairman of the National Defence Commission of the Democratic Peoples
Republic of Korea, made an address to the Korean people on the occasion
of the New Year Juche 102. The Stoke On Trent Branch of the Juche Idea
Study Group of Britain regards the New Year 2013 Address by KIM JONG UN as
a comprehensive blueprint for acheivng Korea's peaceful reunification,
for building the powerful, strong and prosperous socialist society in
the DPRK and for strengthening the forces of independence and
anti-imperialism across the world, over the coming year and beyond.
KIM JONG UN had in his address characterised that the year 2012 had been a milestone
in the history of the Korean nation, with the spectacular celebrations of the centenary of the birth of President KIM IL SUNG. In the 2013 New Year Address, KIM JONG UN emphasized his absolute loyality to the revolutionary legacy of the President KIM IL SUNG and the Chairman KIM JONG IL, and that he would defend and develop this precious heritage of his outstanding predecessors. KIM JONG UN spoke
in his address of upholding and implementing the ideology of
Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism as the socialist theory of the 21st century.
During his January 1st speech, KIM JONG UN stressed that the sudden passing away of KIM JONG IL in
December 2011, was a huge misfortune for the Korean people. The Korean
Leader said that the people had shown great resilience at a
time of deep sorrow and grief for the socialist nation, and had turned
the pain at the loss of their father into fortitude. KIM JONG UN is carrying out the ardent desire of the Korean people to immortalize the work and deeds of the General Secretary KIM JONG IL.
In the New Year Address, KIM JONG UN paid attention to the tasks of economic construction in the DPRK. KIM JONG UN issued the call "Lets
Us Bring About a Radical Turn In The Building of An Economic Giant With
the Same Fighting Spirit and Mettle as were Displayed in Conquering
Space!" That efforts should be focused into making science and
technology in the DPRK the top priopity in the atmosphere of
self-reilance, as the case with the manufacture and launch of the
Kwangmyongsong 3 sateillite. It is the aim of KIM JONG UN to have the Korean
people enjoy all the material benefits of Juche-orientated socialism as much as possible.
This year will mark the 50th anniversary of the issue of the revolutionary slogan "A Match for Hundred Combatants" by KIM IL SUNG. The
Korean Peoples Army has played the leading role in the
Korean Revolution since its inception. To strengthen the Korean Peoples
Army is to strengthen the positions of Korean-style socialism.
Both militarily and technologically, KIM JONG UN is continually
making the Korean Peoples Army a powerful force, which can defeat any
aggressor. The soldiers and officers of the KPA are united in faith and
ideology around their Supreme Commander. With the upcoming 60th
anniversary of the Korean people's victory over US imperialism in the
Fatherland Liberation War (the Korean War
1950-1953), KIM JONG UN has turned the Korean Peoples Army into an invincible military and political force, ready and willing to fight any enemy.
The
durability of socialism in the DPRK has been single hearted unity of
the Leader, Party and People. All the people in Songun Korea share the
same fate as the masters of the revolution and construction. KIM JONG UN has
pledged himself to the consolidation of the ideological foundations of
the people-centered socialism in Korea.
Since assuming the responsibilities of leadership, KIM JONG UN is
always among the workers, peasants, soldiers and intellectuals, and has
set this method of guidance as a model for all party and
state officials. The traditions of the Workers' Party of Korea being the
motherly party of the
Korean people have been solidified. It is KIM JONG UN's firm
conviction to uphold the red banner of the two
Great Generalissimos forever and to make sure that Korea remains red and
revolutionary.
Ending the division of the Korean peninsula was the constant aim of KIM IL SUNG and of KIM JONG IL. On January 1st 2013, KIM JONG UN called
for a renewed effort for the peaceful and independent reunification of
Korea by the determination of the Korean people themselves, north,south
and overseas. KIM JONG UN used his speech to directly appeal to
the newly appointed authorities in south Korea to strive towards
peace, reconciliation and reunification between the north and south. In
his speech, the DPRK Leader urged the south Korean chief executive to
take the road of peace and dialogue, and not the path
to war and
confrontation.
KIM JONG UN stated
in his address that Peace, Friendship and Independence will remain the
core values of the DPRK's external activities. Developing relations with
all countries who respect the sovereignty of the Democratic Peoples
Republic of Korea, is the keynote of Peoples Korea's foreign policy. KIM JONG UN mentioned
in his speech the importance of all those nations, parties and
movements who advocate independence, against imperialist intervention,
to unite. In the address, KIM JONG UN made the point that the
Korean party and people will always be on the side of those peoples who
seek national and social liberation.
The Stoke On Trent Branch of the Juche Idea Study Group of Britain welcomes this profoundly historic New Year
Address made by the Dear Respected Comrade KIM JONG UN. Our
Branch members will carefully study and distribute this epochal address.
The Stoke On Trent Branch of the Juche Idea Study Group calls upon all
progressive forces in Britain to read the January 1st 2013 New Year
Address, as a document which demonstrates the direction of Socialist
Korea's further development and prosperity under KIM JONG UN's leadership. The future of the Juche Cause and of Global Independence is bright as it is guided by the Dear Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN!!
