U.S. Doomed to Ruin: Rodong Sinmun

Pyongyang, March 9 (KCNA) -- Bygone are the days when the U.S. used to show off its "strength" at UN, and the era of the only "superpower" is ending, said Rodong Sinmun on Friday in a bylined article.

It can be proven by the high-handed and arbitrary practices of the U.S. which are no longer working on the arena of international politics, it said, and added:

The U.S. is being increasingly shunned on UN arena. The situation turns bad for the U.S. as it has to stand trial for human rights abuses.

The U.S. economy started to decline.

The present financial crisis is an inevitable product of its unreasonable economic policy which turned it into the biggest debtor country.

It has so far massively produced and deployed new type weapons by spending colossal funds to realize its world domination strategy. It has spent huge funds for developing and producing latest nuclear weapons, in particular.

This weighed down on the U.S., burdening it with the systematic increase of heavy war expenditure and making its budget debt snowball.

The U.S. dollar dominant system is getting weakened in the international financial world.

It is also losing military supremacy in the world.

The U.S. is fighting an unsuccessful "war on terrorism" claiming huge casualties even though it mobilized huge forces boasting of the world's "strongest" as well as all types of mass destruction weapons into which up-to-date scientific and technical achievements have been introduced.

As proved, the U.S. lived out its days and only downfall awaits it.

The imperialists led by the U.S. are making desperate efforts to prolong their life but in vain.

The U.S. is bound to be ruined. -0-
