Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un Sends Wreath to Liberation Tower

 Pyongyang, August 16 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, sent a wreath to the Liberation Tower on August 15, the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Korea.


Honor guards of the Korean People's Army lined at the Liberation Tower.


                                                     




Upon the authorization, Ri Il Hwan, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee, laid the wreath sent by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un before the Liberation Tower.


Written on the ribbon of the wreath were letters "We will remember forever."


Present there were Cha Hui Rim, chairman of the Pyongyang City People's Committee, Im Chon Il, vice foreign minister, and officials concerned.


The participants observed a moment silence in memory of the brave officers and men of the Red Army, the sons and daughters of the Russian people who dedicated their precious lives to the sacred war for the liberation of Korea. -0-
