"Keep the revolutionary faith to the death!"--these are the letters written by veterans on a thick tree on Mt. Madu during the anti-Japanese armed struggle in the first half of the 20th century.
A revolutionary battle site has been built in the area of the then secret camp, telling forever the history of the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle organized and led by the great leader Kim Il Sung.
The slogan "Keep the revolutionary faith to the death!" is seen at the entrance to the route leading to the Madusan Revolutionary Battle Site.
In January Juche 103(2014) the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un visited the Madusan Revolutionary Battle Site and saw the slogan.
Researcher Kim Kwang Il at the Korean Revolution Museum says:
"The slogan 'Keep the revolutionary faith to the death!' represents the spirit of the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners to make revolution to the end following the great leader Kim Il Sung.
Seeing the slogan, the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un said: Revolution is just faith. Man can't make revolution if he gives up faith. Only when he keeps the firm revolutionary faith, can he go along the road of revolution to the end and be upright before the country and people."
It was the meaningful instruction teaching how precious the faith is in the life of a revolutionary.
Kim Jong Un had a photo taken before the slogan, saying it is a good slogan implanting faith in the minds of the people.
The slogan "Keep the revolutionary faith to the death!" teaches the precious truth of victory of revolution. In front of the slogan written by the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners, the Korean people keenly realize the truth that revolution is just faith and they cannot make revolution without it.
