ASSPUK,JISGE , UK KFA and BSCPRKP condemn "Max Thunder " war exercises !

                                       London 16th  of May Juche 107(2018) 
 The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England (JISGE) ,the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the British Solidarity Committee for the Peace and Reunification in the Korean Peninsula(BSCPRKP) decided to issue
a joint statement on learning that the US imperialists and south Korean military had started the "Max Thunder " from the 11th of May.
   These exercises  involve more than 100 fighters of various missions including B-52 strategic nuclear bombers and F-22 Raptor stealth fighters of the U.S. forces and will continue until May 25, under the supervision of the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces in south Korea and the south Korean air force.
 Our organisations totally condemn these exercises as they are a rehearsal for a pre-emptive attack on the Democratic People's Republic of Korea . Moreover the US and south Korea have decided to go ahead with such exercises at time when a mood of reconciliation and relaxation of tension had began to settle over the Korean peninsula.Moreover even the possibility of DPRK-US dialogue had been opened up thanks to the peace-loving efforts of the DPRK. "Max Thunder "is not only a massive and blatant challenge to peace but also drives a cart and horses through the Panmunjom Declaration of the 27th of April which explicitly states that "The north and the south agreed to totally stop all hostile acts against the other side in all spaces including the ground, sea and air, the root cause of military tension and conflicts.". How on earth can the south Korean authorities even consider holding such 
after concluding the Panmunjom Declaration . They are acting in a two faced manner !
  What the holding of "Max Thunder " proves is the ballad of peace being sung by the US imperialists
is a false and hollow one.
   The DPRK is totally correct to suspend high level talks with south Korea and to reconsider holding the DPRK-US dialogue . We support these moves .
         We demand that the US  and south Korea immediately halt operation "Max Thunder " and show sincerity to the DPRK 's profound peace moves
