The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) ,the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and UK Preparatory Committee For the 2017 Gathering to Praise the Great Persons Born of Mt Paektu issued the following statement of condolence on the sad occasion of the passing away of comrade Kang Sok Ju;
Our organsiations , the ASSPUK, JISGE , UK KFA and UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and UK Preparatory Committee For the 2017 Gathering to Praise the Great Persons Born of Mt Paektu were greatly saddened to hear that comrade Kang Sok Ju , former vice foreign minister and former secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea as well as former vice premier of the DPRK had passed away at the age of 76 due to cancer.
Comrade Kang was born into a poor worker's family but rose to become a leading cadre and top international diplomat . He was a true soldier of Juche,
a faithful follower of the great leaders President KIM IL SUNG and KIM JONG IL fighting on the front of international diplomacy. He was also a close comrade of respected Chairman KIM JONG UN.
Comrade Kang Sok Ju was well known as a no-nonsense and shrewd negotiator
who defended the dignity of People's Korea on the international stage.
We express our condolences to the Korean people on this very sad loss.
