ASSPUK, JISGE and UK KFA on the 43rd anniversary of the north -south joint declaration

 The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK , the Juche Idea Study Group of England and the  UK Korean Friendship Association today issued the following  joint statement on the occasion of the 43nd anniversary of the July 4th north-south joint statement between the DPRK and south Korea.

            Over forty years have passed since the joint statement between the north and south of Korea was signed. It was the shining fruition of the ideas of the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung.
The great leader  President Kim Il Sung put forward the proposal for north-south negotiations in which he said he was ready to meet any time with all political parties and public organizations and individuals of south Korea in order to normalize the north-south relations and discuss the issue of national reunification . This showed his great magnanimity and earnest patriotism 

The north-south high-level political talks were opened in May 1972 and the joint statement was published on July 4, 1972 entirely thanks to the efforts of the great leader President Kim Il Sung who worked tirelessly for the reunification of Korea.

The fascist puppet regime of Park Chung Hee was dead set against peaceful reunification and virtually reduced the north-south joint statement to a scrap of paper before the ink had dried . Park staged the Yushin coup a few months after the north-south declaration and arrested and killed many patriots.

                    The present fascist puppet ruler of south Korea Park Geun Hye the daughter of Park Chung Hee is clamouring for the "unification of social systems "is a negation of the principles of the north -south joint statement. Moreover the Park Geun Hye regime has spearheaded the anti DPRK "human rights " campaign.
                   The core principles of national reunification put forward by the great leader President Kim Il Sung on the 4th of July 1972 were fully embodied in the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4th declaration.  The DPRK government has made many proposals to relax tension. If south Korea genuinely desires reunification based on the three principles then it should desist from military exercises and cease involving outside forces in the Korean question,

We believe that the Korean people under the leadership of dear respected Marshal  Kim Jong Un will achieve reunification on the basis of independence.
