ASSPUK, JISGE and UK KFA strongly support special proposal of DPRK NDC

The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK, the Juche Idea Study Group of England and the UK Korean Friendship Association issued the following joint statement in support the special proposals for reunification made by the DPRK National Defence Commission;

              Our organisations, the ASSPUK, Juche Idea Study Group of England and UK Korean Friendship Association, strongly support the special proposal of the National Defence Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea made on the 30th of June.
                In the past few months despite the peace initiatives of the  DPRK made earlier in the year the situation on the Korean peninsula has become very  strained and tense owing the reckless war moves of the aggressive US imperialists and the south Korean fascists puppets. The US imperialists and south Korean puppets have staged numerous war exercises .At the moment RIMPAC 2014 is underway involving the US imperialists and south Korean puppets along with a number of other countries. The south Korean puppets have committed provocations of firing at the DPRK and also kidnapping DPRK sailors.

   Now as the 42nd anniversary of the north-south joint statement (which is on the 4th of July) approaches as well as the 20th anniversary of 20th anniversary of the event in which President Kim Il Sung, the eternal leader of the Korean nation  signed a historical document on the north-south summit in the last moments of his great life. it become ever more important to build peace and confidence on the Korean peninsula and advance towards reunification on the basis of independence .
                                 The proposals of the NDC basically reassert the 3 basic and cardinal principles of reunification  laid down by the great leader President Kim Il Sung ; independence , peace and great national unity . Korea must be reunified on an independent basis without outside interference , without recourse to force and and on the basis of national reconciliation and unity. To attempt to reunify Korea on the basis of "reunification by absorption " as proposed by Park Geun Hye would be disastrous and would lead to fratricidal conflict.
    The south Korean puppets are also trying involve outside forces in the question of Korea's reunification principally the US but also Japan and even the EU and some big countries. They should stop drawing outside forces into Korean affairs . South Korea must also cancel all military exercises with the US and halt military provocations. Also south Korea should not use the reunification
dialogue as a means to force the capitalist system on the DPRK , the principle of
national unity must be maintained.

       We, the ASSPUK, JISGE and UK KFA believe that the special proposals of the DPRK NDC along with the earlier crucial proposals offer the best hope for
a lasting peace and reunification.
