We are here today to protest against the BBC’s persistent demonisation of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK ) or People’s Korea .
No country -apart from maybe Russia and the former Soviet Union - has been lied about more by the BBC than the DPRK .Recently , the BBC or British Brainwashing Corporation. Recently the BBC has tried to blame the DPRK over the conflict in Ukraine making false allegations and quoted unconfirmed rumours and misleading reports .
The BBC has taken upon itself the role of a shock brigade in the propaganda war against People’s Korea. The BBC is an official state broadcaster, it is not independent but run by the British government . It is closely linked to British imperialism and US imperialism .It’s staff are vetted ,so that no one with pro DPRK , pro socialist views cannot work for the BBC or indeed anyone to the Left of Genghis Khan , in the BBC it is very much ‘No lefties here John ‘ . BBC staff are 1000 per cent anti-communist and 10,000 per cent anti DPRK .They enjoy big salaries and many privileges such as private health care.
The BBC promotes the ideology of market totalitarianism and liberal fascism . The BBC is a tool of the ruling elite and the big monopoly corporations.
What is disgusting is that not only does the BBC lie about People’s Korea but it expects us to pay for its lies in the form of the BBC licence fee which is £169 per year.
Here are some examples of the BBC lying about the DPRK ; On June 15 2023 the BBC broadcast a programme titled “ Inside north Korea ‘alleging 'famine ' and 'starvation ' in the DPRK .
If the BBC was right about the DPRK by now everyone in the DPRK would have starved to death in the DPRK not once but several times ! .
The BBC’s demonisation of the DPRK is not just about anti-communism but is also based on orientalism and racism . The BBC has multiple aims in its propaganda against the DPRK .Firstly , it aims to portray the BBC as a potential enemy to be attacked in a war , secondly, it is to smear and slander the socialist system of the DPRK with the aim of both turning people against the DPRK as well as facilitating regime change in the DPRK to bring down the socialist system and restore the capitalist system. Thirdly , the BBC aims to the hide the truth about the DPRK so that people do not see the example of the DPRK as an alternative to the corrupt decadent Western world where living standards are going down all the time.
We are here today to stand in solidarity with People’s Korea the most independent country in the world with an advanced and superior socialist system centred upon the people . We demand the BBC stops its lies about People’s Korea !
