BGSJI and KFA UK support Press Statement (22.11.2024 ) of DPRK Foreign Ministry

 The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI) and Korean Friendship Association UK (KFA UK) issued the following joint statement supporting  the press statement of the spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK ) that was issued on the 22nd of November ;

On the 21st of November an anti-DPRK resolution was shunted through the Third Committee of the 79th Session of the UN General Assembly(UNGA)  at the behest of the US imperialists . The resolution slandered the human rights situation in People's Korea on the basis of fabricated evidence . It is part of the hackneyed and long drawn anti-DPRK "human rights " campaign of the US imperialists which aims to bring down socialism in the DPRK .                              

The spokesperson for the DPRK Foreign Ministry stated that  the resolution was a " farce of adopting of the "human rights resolution" led by the U.S. and its followers as a grave politically-motivated provocation encroaching upon the dignity and sovereignty of the DPRK, and strongly denounces and rejects the farce." This indeed true .

The anti-DPRK resolution passed by the Third Committee of the UNGA is actual interference in the internal affairs of the DPRK and goes against the spirit if not the actual letter of the UN Charter.

The US has clearly weaponised the concept of human rights to use against their adversaries and undermine those countries opposed to the US .

What was noteworthy about the recent anti-DPRK "human rights " resolution was that it took issue with the DPRK policies to thwart the infiltration of corrupt and immoral imperialist culture and ideology , basically trying to deny the DPRK its right to its own culture and system , its right to live its own way .

We support the press statement of the spokesperson for the DPRK Foreign Ministry and condemn all US attempts at regime change no matter who they are disguised .
