 The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Korean Friendship Association of the UK(KFA UK )    issued a joint statement in support of the press statement titled "We will continue to take practical measures to cope with the long-term nuclear confrontation with the U.S." issued by the  chief of the Foreign News Section of the Department of Press and Information of the DPRK Foreign Ministry on Sunday 8th of September ;

The DPRK Foreign Ministry expressed concern  and denounced  the fact that the US imperialists and ROK puppets held a "Extended Deterrence Strategy and Consultation Group" meeting and also the so-called "Nuclear Consultative Group " carried a simulation drill . This was aimed at strengthening the military conspiracy and nexus against the DPRK

The US and ROK are responsible for the mounting tension on the Korean peninsula which threatens to spill over to war .

The US and ROK have carried out nuclear war drills such as "Iron Mace and Ulji Freedom Shield" in quick succession threatening People's Korea and increasing tension on the Korean peninsula.

The US imperialists are trying to trick the DPRK into one sided and unilateral disarmament by deceptive talk about "denuclearisation " and " dialogue ".

We say that it is good that the DPRK is not taken or deceived by the US imperialists . Moreover the DPRK will continue to justly take measures to cope with the long term nuclear confrontation with the US.
