The Korean Friendship Association of the UK(KFA UK) and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea held an online meeting to mark the 71st anniversary of the victory of the Korean people in the great Fatherland Liberation War . Participating in the meeting were members of KFA UK and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea from London , West of England , Staffordshire and Scotland . The meeting attracted the participation of guests from KFA Andalusia (Spain ), KFA Germany , the People’s Korea Initiative of Poland and friends from Russia.
Dr Dermot Hudson chairman of KFA UK and Chairman of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea introduced the meeting stressing the importance of the 71st anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War .
Dr Hudson gave a presentation to the meeting titled “On the Korean People’s Great Victory in the Fatherland Liberation War” in which he explained the gravity of the defeat of the US imperialists in the Fatherland Liberation War . He explained that the victory of the Korean people in the Fatherland Liberation War was due to the outstanding commanding art and Juche-based tactics of Generalissimo KIM IL SUNG , pointing out that “The great leader Marshal KIM IL SUNG had accumulated precious experience during the 15 year long armed struggle against the Japanese imperialists. He developed original Juche-oriented military tactics, the likes of which had never been seen before.In the Fatherland Liberation War The great leader comrade KIM IL SUNG always stressed that the outcome of war is not determined by weapons alone but the ideology of those holding the weapons.”
Dr Hudson concluded that “The sound of the fireworks of victory that lit up the night sky of Pyongyang on the 27th of July 1953 still echo today . I am sure that if the US imperialists start a war then the DPRK and KPA under the command of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN will win an even greater victory over the US”
Comrade Alan Bolon KFA UK Organisation Secretary and head of KFA UK West of England read out the speech of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN to the 6th National Conference of DPRK War Veterans on the 27th of July 2020 which was titled “The Feats Performed by the Great Victors Will Remain for Ever” . The speech of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN stressed that the fighting spirit of the generation of war veterans should be carried forward.
The representative of KFA UK Scotland made a short address to the meeting bringing the greetings of KFA UK Scotland to the meeting . The meeting was also addressed by a Russian friend and by the representative of KFA Andalusia .
A message to respected Marshal KIM JONG UN was adopted.
The short documentary film “Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum” was shown .
The meeting concluded at 1940 hours BST.
