Report of the 9th Joint Songun-Juche Q and A and Study Session 11.06.2024

 

The 9th Joint Songun-Juche Q and A and Study Session of the Korean Friendship Association of the UK(KFA UK ) and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea was held on the 11th of June at 1830 hours via Skype .

Participating in it were members of the KFA UK and British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea from London ,West of England  and Hampshire as well guests from KFA Germany ,from the People’s Korea Initiative of Poland and from Russia .

A number of questions were raised about ; the nature of ownership in the DPRK economy , state farms and co-operative farms in the DPRK ,self sufficiency in the DPRK , animal rights in the DPRK and also whether foreigners can join the Korean People’s Army.

Dr Hudson in his answers said that “ In the DPRK there are only the state and cooperative sectors in the economy and in agriculture “ . He also pointed out that there is no private farming in the DPRK and the aim is to convert co-operative farms into state property .

Dr Hudson said that the DPRK is basically self-sufficient and survived 4 years with its border closed.

In answer to questions directly raised by the participants Dr Hudson said it is possible for foreigners to study in the DPRK and that the DPRK has consistently supported the Palestinian people.

Dr Hudson read out excerpts from “JUCHE IDEA -ANSWERS TO A HUNDRED QUESTIONS” and “ Questions and Answers on the Songun Idea”
