From ancient times, Mt Myohyang, one of the celebrated mountains in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, boasts 84 000 peaks and many famous waterfalls. Most thrilling and spectacular are Isonnam, Murung, Pison, Ryongyon, Sanju and Pidan waterfalls.
