The Korean Friendship Association UK (KFA UK ) held its 14th Film Night on the 26th of February at 1830 hours . Participating were members of KFA UK from London ,West of England and Scotland . The event attracted international participation from KFA Germany ,KFA Spain , KFA Panama, the People's Korea Initiative of Poland as well as friends from the Netherlands and Turkey .
The 2022 film "One Night , One Day " was shown which depicted the struggle against the anti-party counter-revolutionary factionalists . The central figure is a young nurse who discovers a plot to violently overthrow the DPRK and socialist system but fights against the counter-revolutionaries.
Participants praised the film for its high quality and said "an interesting, suspenseful film. Let us note that the main character, Ra Myong Ju, is a nurse at the beginning of the film, and then becomes a renowned doctor, without the help of her parents, only thanks to the care and support of the socialist state, in a capitalist state it would be practically impossible this will be one of my favourite DPRK films, definitely".
A short documentary called "Home " was shown about housing in the DPRK and also the documentary "Undisguisable Identity ".
The event concluded at 2040 hours.
