Today ,the 30th of December it is 12 years since respected Marshal KIM JONG UN was appointed by the Political Bureau of the Workers Party of Korea as Supreme Commander of the Korean People’s Army . Earlier in 2011 in the period immediately after the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL had passed away on 17th of December 2011 ,the daily paper of the Central Committee of the Workers Party of Korea ‘ Rodong Simun ‘ had urged respected comrade KIM JONG UN to take the Supreme Commandership of the Korean People’s Army.

Since becoming Supreme Commander of the Korean People’s Army(KPA), respected comrade KIM JONG UN has led the revolutionary armed forces of People’s Korea forward along the road of victory and glory , defying all obstacles and difficulties .People’s Korea has had to face US imperialism and world imperialism as well the hated south Korean fascist puppet regime . Countless war exercises have been staged by the US imperialists and south Korean puppets in south Korea . Such exercises are aimed at practising an invasion of the DPRK .Not only have the US imperialists and their miserable lackeys in Seoul threatened People’s Korea but the US dragged the armed forces of their vassal states such as the UK , Canada , Australia, New Zealand, France and Japan into various war provocation schemes and intrigues . The US imperialists also piled sanction after sanction on People’s Korea trying to suffocate People’s Korea.

Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN inherits the ideas and fighting spirit of the great generalissimo’s of Mt Paektu , President KIM IL SUNG and Chairman KIM JONG IL . Marshal KIM JONG UN countered the enemy’s hard line with an even harder line . After becoming supreme commander of the KPA Marshal KIM JONG UN paid deep attention to strengthening the KPA . This was signified by his visit to the famous Seoul Ryu Kyong Su No 105 Tank Division of the KPA , which was the army unit where Chairman KIM JONG IL began his Songun revolutionary leadership in August 1960 (it was also the first KPA unit to enter Seoul when it was liberated in June 1950 during the Fatherland Liberation War ). Marshal KIM JONG UN also visited far-flung army units and those on the frontline such as at Panmunjom .

The line of simultaneously developing the economy and nuclear force in parallel , a modern application of the original and Juche-oriented line of the Workers Party of Korea of developing the economy and defence in parallel ,was put forward by respected Marshal KIM JONG UN at the March 2013 plenary meeting of the Central Committee of the Workers Party of Korea .

Under the guidance and command of Marshal KIM JONG UN the revolutionary armed forces of People’s Korea have been strengthened exponentially and have developed in depth . The DPRK has become a socialist nuclear power of Juche and now the DPRK’s nuclear status is enshrined in law . The DPRK has joined the club of ICBM powers and it now has its own military reconnaissance satellite .

Victory and glory belong to the revolutionary armed forces of Peoples Korea guided by Marshal KIM JONG UN , an ever-victorious iron-willed brilliant commander.
