The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK)the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea(BGSJI) ,the Korean Friendship Association of the UK( KFA UK) and the British Solidarity committee for Peace and Reunification(BSCPRKP) issued a joint statement about the successful test fire of ICBM Hwasongpho-18;
On the 18th of December the DPRK caried a test drill of the ICBM Hwasong-pho 18.The successful drill, carried out by the General Missile Bureau of the Korean People's Army under the guidance of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN the supreme commander of the revolutionary armed forces of People's Korea , is another great victory for the Juche idea and Songun policy . It is a clear warning to the US imperialists , south Korean puppet fascists and other hostile forces not to mess about on the Korean peninsula .
The Hwasong-pho ICBM travelled up to a maximum altitude of 6 518.2 km and flew a distance of 1 002.3 km . It is fully capable of hitting the mainland United States .
The missile launch was a just counter-action of the DPRK and an action to defend itself against US imperialism .It is the independent right of the DPRK to defend itself . Moreover international law guarantees the right of sovereign states to self-defence.
It also demonstrated the superiority of the self-reliant socialist system of the DPRK.
We salute People's Korea for its brave defiance of US threats !
