On the evening of the 21st of November KFA UK picketed the south Korean puppet embassy in Victoria , London .Attending the picket were members of KFA UK , the New Communist Party , Workers Party of Britain and the Latin American community in London.
Messages from KFA Switzerland and KFA Germany were received . KFA UK Chairman Dr Dermot Hudson read out the message from KFA Switzerland which said in part " Yoon's visit clearly shows his collaboration with British imperialism, a close ally of US imperialism, against the North.
We hope that Yoon's junket will face a strong protest also from other strata of progressive and peace-loving people in the UK.
Yoon is a criminal warmonger who looks for allies in the planned war against the DPRK. And the UK government and ruling class is such an ally. This is proved by the UK's participation in the Korean War in the 1950s.”
The message from KFA Germany pointed out that "South Korea is always portrayed in the Western media as a 'human rights paradise'. At the Communism Congress in Berlin this year there was a comrade from the South Korean socialist resistance. I asked him the question: "What do you think of the Juche idea? He replied that he could not answer my question because it was illegal in South Korea to talk about the Juche idea or to support the DPRK. The fact that he can't even talk about it in Germany suggests that the South Korean secret police is politically persecuting South Koreans even in Europe. It is very honourable for you to take to the streets and express your opposition to this oppressor's ".
Addressing the picket Dr Hudson said " Yoon is a cringeworthy puppet of the US who even sang the song ‘American Pie ‘ to the senile US President Joe ‘ Sleepy Joe ‘ Biden !
South Korea itself is not a real country but a puppet regime created by US bayonets in 1945 .Since the 1940s south Korea has been ruled by successive fascist dictators such as Syngham Rhee , Park Chung Hee , Chun Do Hwan and now Yoon Suk Yeol. Many massacres were carried out such as the Jeju Island massacre (1948) which saw the deaths of 70,000 or 80,000 , the Bodo League massacre 1950 in which 200,000 people were killed and the Kwangju massacre of 1980 which saw 5,000 people slaughtered.
Today , south Korea has the longest working hours in the world and and one of the highest suicide rates . This is the grim reality of the so-called ‘human rights paradise’ praised by the Western mainstream media"
. Picketers chanted "Down with the south Korean puppet regime ! Yoon Not Welcome!" " US out of Korea !" "Korea Is One " and also "Down With US Imperialism " and " Down with British Imperialism".
The picket was placed under surveillance by the "staff" of the south Korean puppet " embassy" who sent 2 people to photograph the picket and even tried to ask to photograph the texts of the speeches (which was refused ! ).
The picket concluded at 1800 hours .
