ASSPUK, BGSJI , KFA UK and BSCPRKP support press statement of comrade Choe Son Hui DPRK Foreign Minister

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK) , the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, the  Korean Friendship Association of the UK  KFA  UK )  ,and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in Korea (BSCPRKP) issued a joint statement in support of the press statement of the Foreign Minister of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) comrade Choe Son Hui  that was issued on Saturday 30th of September;

On Friday 29th of September the UN Security Council (UNSC ) held a closed door meeting at which they took issue with the DPRK's recent constitutional amendment which further solidified and consolidated the DPRK's status as a nuclear power . It is really totally outrageous that the UNSC dared to try and take issue with a constitutional amendment in the DPRK which is very obviously an internal matter of the DPRK and its sovereign right to do so .Really the UNSC is trying to act as an unwanted world policeman . In her press statement , comrade Choe Son Hui the DPRK Foreign Minister , rightly brands the UNSC's action as "   a frontal challenge to the sovereignty of the DPRK and undisguised interference in the internal affairs of a sovereign state" and denounces and rejects the stance of the UNSC .

The UNSC is showing double standards by deliberately ignoring US and south Korean threats to the DPRK which include ceaseless military provocations as well as open declarations by both the US imperialists and south Korean puppets that they will bring about the 'end of the regime ' in the DPRK .

The DPRK 's acquisition of a a nuclear deterrent and its legalisation is a just measure to cope with the increasing threats of US imperialism and the south Korean fascist puppets .

Comrade Choe Son Hui states that "As long as the U.S., the imperialist entity, exists, it is the destiny of the DPRK to arm itself with nuclear weapons." This is most correct . As long as US imperialism exists the DPRK cannot lay down its arms . The aggressive , reactionary and predatory nature of US imperialism can never change so the DPRK will always need nuclear weapons to defend itself from US imperialism . It is as simple as that .

We strongly support the press statement of comrade Choe Son Hui . The DPRK is right to have nuclear weapons . We denounce the UNSC as a puppet of US imperialism .
