Growing Popularity

  Potato with good taste and high nutritive value is one of the crops used a lot by the Korean people for their diet.

  In the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Ryanggang Province is a famous potato producer and it has the Samjiyon Potato Farina Production Factory.

  The factory produces thousands of tons of potato farina every year as well as different kinds of processed potato goods including nutritive food, noodles, vermicelli, zeppole and cake.

  Those products peculiar to Samjiyon City are popular among the Korean people.

 In recent years the variety and output of the products have increased and their quality improved. It is a result of the joint efforts of the technicians, workers and all other employees of the factory.

  The employees often present technical innovation proposals concerning the production. The valuable of those proposals are introduced into production in cooperation with scientists and technicians.

  Thanks to the constant efforts of the employees of the factory for fresh development, the processed potato goods become more popular as the days go by.
