KFA UK and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea held an online meeting on the 6th of July at 1830 hours via Skype to commemorate the life of the great leader President KIM IL SUNG .
Participating were members of KFA UK from London , the West of England , Staffordshire and Yorkshire as well as guests from Germany , Poland and Bulgaria.
Dr Dermot Hudson ,Chairman of the Korean Friendship Association UK and Chairman of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said that “The anniversary of the passing away of President KIM IL SUNG this year takes place in a year which will see significant ,great and momentous anniversaries of the DPRK ;in a few weeks it will be the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War against the aggressive US imperialists and on September 9th it is the 75th anniversary of the foundation of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea , the state which President KIM IL SUNG is the eternal leader of "
He concluded that “We remember great President KIM IL SUNG as the eternal leader of the Korean people and WPK , the greatest of great leaders who was the author of the Juche idea, the benevolent liberator of the Korean people, the ever-victorious iron-willed commander and the outstanding leader of the world revolution”
The vice-chairman of KFA Germany said the achievements of President KIM IL SUNG were great . He was a great revolutionary to the end of his life.
Comrade Alan Bolon KFA UK Organisation Secretary and head of KFA UK West of England spoke about the friendship between President KIM IL SUNG and the Australian journalist Wilfrid Burchett explaining how Wilfried Burchett had explained that “ a study of Kim Il Sung and his family would give a great help to explaining the present policies and stands of the DPRK, he wrote in detail about his revolutionary family and the history of his revolutionary activities.”
The head of Staffordshire KFA UK said that President KIM IL SUNG ‘is ’the greatest leader in the history of international socialism’.
The People’s Korea initiative of Poland said “We must remember the great achievements of the Eternal President KIM IL SUNG, his victorious leadership led to a great victory, this year we will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Fatherland Liberation War Against the US Imperialists.”
Video clips of the funeral of President KIM IL SUNG in 1994 and the visit of President KIM IL SUNG to the German Democratic Republic in 1984 were shown.
A message to respected Marshal KIM JONG UN was adopted .
