  The Association for the Study of Songun Politics(ASSPUK), the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (GSJI), the Korean Friendship Association of the UK ( KFA UK) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula (BSCPRKP)issued the following joint statement in support of the recent press statement of comrade Kim Yo Jong, vice department director of the Central Committee (CC) of the Workers Party of Korea (WPK) ;

In her press statement on the 7th of March, comrade Kim Yo Jong refers to the south Korean puppet media report that the commander of the U.S. forces in the Indo-Pacific had said that they would shoot down any DPRK ICBMs that were launched over the Pacific as a part of a test. As comrade Kim Yo Jong  correctly points out 'The Pacific Ocean does not belong to the dominium of the U.S. or Japan."  Indeed the US imperialists are acting as if they own the whole world and are revealing a typical reactionary colonialist mentality.  Moreover, the apparent statement of the US commander is a truly horrendous one which reeks of extreme warmongering and massive bellicosity by the US imperialists.

As comrade Kim Yo Jong says "It will be regarded as a clear declaration of war against the DPRK, in case such military response as interception takes place against our tests of strategic weapons that are conducted without being detrimental to the security of neighbouring countries in the open waters and air which do not belong to the U.S. jurisdiction."

According to the press statement of comrade Kim Yo Jong, the DPRK is on standby to take quick and overwhelming action against any provocation or aggression by south Korea and the US.

We denounce the extreme sabre rattling of the US imperialists and also fully support the just stand of the DPRK as clarified by comrade Kim Yo Jong.
