           The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK,the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea Study ,the  Korean Friendship Association of the UK and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula(BSCPRKP) today issued a statement supporting the press statement of comrade Jo Chol Su, director general of the Department of International Organizations of the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) that was issued on the 22nd of March ;

On the 20th of March the reactionary US imperialists convened an open session of the UN Security Council (UNSC ) at which the US representative to the UN , Greenfield Thomas, slandered the DPRK over its recent successful ICBM launch  and also over the 'human rights ' issue . It was wrong for the UNSC to discuss the DPRK's ICBM launch as it is a matter related to the sovereignty of the DPRK and the independent right of the DPRK to self-defence . Comrade Jo Chol Su, director general of the Department of International Organizations of the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK had warned Ms Greenfield Thomas  not to interfere in the DPRK but she has persisted in this wrong behaviour.

The US again raised the outdated and anarchonistic concept of the "complete, verifiable and irreversible dismantlement" of the DPRK which would mean in reality the destruction of the socialist system of the DPRK and the colonization plus Americanisation  of the northern part of Korea. As comrade Jo Chol Su rightly points out 'The pressure on the DPRK to dismantle its nukes precisely means a declaration of war...

Any force should keep in mind that if it tries to apply CVID to the DPRK, it will be dealt with resolutely in accordance with the DPRK's law on nuclear force policy."

The US imperialists 20 years ago caused the Iraq War and have invaded many countries . The DPRK will not let this happen in Korea . As for Ms Greenfield-Thomas she is just a stooge of the US empire of evil.

We applaud the press statement ofComrade Jo Chol Su, director general of the Department of International Organizations of the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK.
