The book "The Great Conspiracy Against People’s Korea" by Dr. Dermot Hudson is of special importance for all of us who were born in one of the countries that were once socialist, especially those from the countries of the former Yugoslavia. While reading this book, I couldn't help but imagine "what could’ve been", i.e. that Yugoslavia introduced Juche/Songun ideas and politics, or something similar to them in accordance with the people and material conditions of the Balkans. Would Yugoslavia have survived, would the peoples of these areas have survived in their quest for independence and peace, would we have been able to resist the neo-colonial winds that swept the world at the end of the twentieth century and remain tailors and masters of our own destiny in opposition to the "Great Powers" and to peoples like those of Western Europe who impose themselves on us today as masters and "models", just because in our historical moment we bowed down to external and internal enemies who destroyed our socialism and dignity?
Also, this book causes deep lamentation in me for humanity, which is a victim of imperialist lies and manipulations aimed at destroying true humane ideals and values such as socialist/communist values and ideals. The values of solidarity and independence from exploitation, peace and mutual respect, sacrifice of individual welfare for the betterment of the collective, creativity and freedom in shaping one's own destiny of "small" nations, without imperialist pressures of "Great Powers". The key question then arises, to what extent was the collapse of Socialist Yugoslavia actually a natural course of affairs for such a state, and how much was the result of imperialist pressures, espionage, economic terrorism, revisionism, betrayal of socialism, opportunism and careerism? After reading "The Great Conspiracy Against People’s Korea", the answer seems to indicate that the blame for the collapse of Yugoslavia lies entirely on the bloody hands of American imperialism, aided by domestic traitors and opportunists, as well as the inability of our communist party to implement a safe and steel-like system that would have eliminated the anti-socialist elements, as President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il have done under the leadership of the indomitable Workers' Party of Korea in the People's Korea.
Be that as it may, the truth remains as following, under the leadership of respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un, the People's Korea remains on the difficult but only correct path of Juche Socialism, as a real thorn in the side of American imperialism and anti-socialist corporate structures, and it is up to us, as progressive, freedom-loving and justice-loving people and peoples of the world to spread comradeship and solidarity with our peoples and Korean people in it’s just struggle for humanity, despite all the malversations and tricks used by the fraudsters and manipulators of Western imperialism to slander the People's Korea and socialism.
And that's why, in addition to, the appendices, which i believe will be the most interesting to our readers, in which a certain "mole" is "dug out", this book is a must-read for all the peoples of the former Yugoslavia who wonder who stole their dignity and enslaved them.'
